Has anybody ever seen this video before? If so, What's your opinion?

Funny and interesting. Funny when LB said they are finished too, and laugh.

Where was Stevie?

I thought that "I want my MTV" was an original phrase of Money for Nothing (actually the Sting contribution in that song, or so I read), but was it already a famous MTV phrase?. Lindsey and Christine repeated it in this 1982 outtake, but Money for Nothing is from 1985

I have no idea where Stevie was, perhaps on a solo tour?
Your MTV theory is probably right.

"I Want My MTV" was an ad campaign early in MTV's history to get people to call their cable operators and ask for them to carry MTV.
