There's not one for the venue I'm going to, but it looks like it's the same deal everywhere that it's offered:
for $425
Ticket in the First 5 Rows
VIP Entry to Venue
VIP Host for the Evening
Meet & Greet with Mick Fleetwood
VIP Q&A with Mick Fleetwood onstage at his Drum Kit
Personal Photo with Mick Fleetwood
Mick Fleetwood VIP Laminate
For $375
Ticket in the First 20 Rows
VIP Entry to Venue
VIP Host for the Evening
Meet & Greet with Mick Fleetwood
VIP Q&A with Mick Fleetwood onstage at his Drum Kit
Personal Photo with Mick Fleetwood
Mick Fleetwood VIP Laminate
Honestly, I'd pay for that. It's worth it just for the seats - none the less all of the other stuff. The same (if not better) price you'd pay for good seats from a broker, and MUCH cheaper than the damn ticketmaster platinum seats.

the only one that looks available right now is D.C. and one in CA - but definitely worth it, if you can swing it. do you think the others have already been sold, or that they haven't made them available yet... i mean, this is the first i've heard about meet & greets. i'd go to D.C. if my flight back to the UK wasn't the day after... ugh.

There's also one for Little Rock, AR.
I was wondering the same thing. Like maybe at one point each venue had the option but someone already grabbed it up. Or maybe only certain venus will let you have those? Kind of like how there were Meet & Greets for some (but not all) of Lindsey's OMS stops.
I hope this becomes available for more dates.
Edit: They just added another - Tulsa, OK. Hopefully this means more to come.

the cheapest way to get a good seat is to pay to meet mick , you'd think this would be included in the 1200 -2500 seat with all 4 and a phone call from Christine.

Isn't it ironic?
It's almost like they think it's a trade-off or something.
Like... Now offering a good seats for cheaper prices! But here's the catch - you have to meet Mick, ask him some questions, and take a picture with him.

The St. Paul show isn't even listed on Mick's site or the Fleetwood Mac site so I guess we won't get these. WTF?

Haha I know right! Well, what I do like about this is that those less dedicated won't know about his website, etc. But yeah, the logic is bit odd :p This is a continual problem, we keep thinking FM functions in a rational way... :xoxo: I'd love to meet Mick, hope more of these VIP options pop up :)

I don't think anyone knows for sure, but they've been adding more and more dates all day. It's looking like it's going to be for all of them.
They just added the date in Calgary.

My concern is that it appears all the shows are listed except St Paul. It's the same on the Fleetwood Mac web page. I guess it just got left off, but it makes me nervous because I want to jump on these if they do come up. I guess no one can though since it's not even on there.

The official Fleetwood Mac facebook page posted it on FB and it's from MickFleetwoodOfficial... I don't see how it could be a scam.
The tickets aren't cheaper at all... Yeah, they're cheaper than then "platinum" seats but those are just random seats that Ticketmaster has pulled and claimed as "premium" and are trying to charge extra for - those prices aren't true of ALL of the seats in those sections.

People were afraid to proceed because they received a message that the site could harm their computer. Mick's website is run by ground(ctrl) per their management - ie: Santuary/Azoff/Frontline. It's legitimate, but whenever they published the site something wasn't done properly with the certificate for the site. That's as much "code" or "geek" that I speak. It's perfectly safe though, I'm sure.

Don't hesitate to go solo. I have done it and always had fun-it feels a bit odd at first but that goes away. I can't always drag hubby as weeknights are tough for him work wise, and my friends will think I'm crackers for spending so much. I am tempted to go for it...if it is their last tour I want a good seat!

It's not that bad. I've been going downtown to concerts since I was 14. If you get there early just go hang out in the CNN Center food court -- and the best parking lot is across the street from PA where Don Juan's mexican restaurant is. You can just walk right across the street -- it's so convenient and easy to get in and out of too. Sorry, I'm horrible with street names, but when you turn left out of the parking lot you make a right onto Marietta St.

I did one of the Mick Fleetwood Meet and Greets in 2009 so I can explain how they worked. It was an Ebay auction and I won mine for just over 300.00 dollars for a pair of tickets. You had to fill out and fax and or email this claims sheet that essentially stated that they are not responsible for any injury or damage you may suffer during the meet and greet.
When you got to the venue you had to wait for this woman to come out and ask for you. At the Ottawa show the ticket booth where you can pick up tickets had staff that didn't know a thing so I was getting nervous and then this woman came out of a door and said pretty loudly Matt Denison looking for a Mr Matt Denison. You were taken to the stage where it was just you and your guest and this woman. Steve Rinkoff was there setting up Micks Drum kit which was virtually set up save for a few tweaks here and there. Mick came out and you got to shake his hand and take photos and ask him questions for about 15 minutes or so. It may have been shorter but I know it felt like a long time and I didn't feel rushed at all. The pictures were professionally taken by the woman and emailed to you shortly after the concert (about a day or two).

If I remember correctly we were told to be there for 5-6 PM . I do recall that we had the meet and greet ended by 6:30 because we had an hour or so to kill.
You had to have ID with you and I can't recall if you needed the form you sent in but I had brought it along as well as my confirmation emails.

This is my initial post in 2009 about the meet and greet.
So I got to meet with Mick Fleetwood. It was just me and my friend Janet up on the stage talking to Mick. We Met Steve Rinkoff who was setting up for the show. Basically I asked allot of good questions and got some good answers.
1. I asked about why Bob Welch was not in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame and Mick said that he has lobbied to get his name on the list and they said no. He was very upset that Bob isn't in the Hall and told me that he didn't understand why he was not included. He also mentioned that when the band was inducted he had no formal paper or certificate like the other members had to say he was now a member and so he asked them time and again to send him one and nothing happened. Then a few years ago when he was asked to vote on new members via a ballot in the mail his wife blew the horn saying to someone at the hall that her own Husband Mick doesn't even have his formal certificate and someone said they would look into it. As a result he got his certificate.
2. The Sheryl Crow thing was according to Mick was pretty much as Stevie has said it was with the band planning to start rehearsing and she had all of these things going on and in the end she said no I will have to pass.
3. He said that the UK leg which will include Australia is going to start hopefully in Aug. They are working on the logistics to see if it will work. Then if the band is still wanting to play and the North American fans are not sick of them they will do another round of shows next year in North America.
4. He said that they rehearsed Hold Me in the early stages but when it got down to serious business they dropped it. Lindsey didn't want to play Monday Morning as per Mick's suggestion but when they found a clip from the Tusk tour where it was the opener it made Lindsey realize the potential and he agreed to do it this tour. I asked about SW and SOTM. He acknowledged the songs (even saying that SOTM used to be done quite often)and did say if the tour goes longer they will be changing up the set.
5. During the Dance tour without actually saying it was over, they kind of got the vibe from Chris that she wasn't having any fun and then she did eventually say she couldn't do this anymore. He said that twice they put out an olive branch to see if she was interested in the last album and she was coming around ,but when the tour was mentioned it was a deal breaker.
6. I asked about the possibility of a one of fshow with all former members past and present playing together and he said that was something he thought about but never spoken about till my conversation. He thought it was a great idea. At one point he said to me you should be our Manager. He was also impressed with my knowledge of all of the history of the band and when songs were last performed etc.
7. He said that the reason there is no backup drummers and no Carlos was because as he said jokingly I fired them all. He also said that why they started adding back up players was to reflect the multi layerd guitars and vocals on the album tracks and so they wanted to try and be as close to the album versions as possible.
8. The reason why Stand Back is in the set all these years is because they have allot of respect for her solo success and she has fun with it and the audience enjoys it so much.
I think that covers all that I talked about.
The show was great!!! My seats were in the 2nd row. At the end of the show I had a run in with a fellow fan. He was some guy in a nice suit who got a guitar pick and then took the setlist from the stage even after I told him that the band and stage crew had said during my meet an greet that I could have it. He said something very stupid about "I'm with or I know security". It was his tone of voice like one of those rich snobby people talking down to you like you are second class or something. Then he walked away with a smirk. Luckily near the entrance was a security guard who had two setlists in his pocket and he gave me one.
I forgot two other things we talked about. One was when I said that while I enjoyed the band now I missed Songbird as that is one song I would love to hear live and he said something about understanding my love of this song and why people like it so much. I also asked him if he was aware of the dreadful RS article that picked the top guitar players of all time and failed to include Lindsey. He said something along the lines "Well we know he is the jewel". He also called him if I remember correctly the man with slippery fingers or sticky fingers I can't recall exactly.
My friend was just in awe of being there and she did ask one question about whether or not they would be doing different interpretations of any of the songs in the setlist and he said that yes some would be slightly different then they way you remember hearing them on the albums.

Have they/he done something like this before? Will the M&G likely be before the show or after?
For Unleashed, meet and greet was before the show on the stage. They also let you buy merchandise at that time.
One time, when I didn't meet Mick, they took me back stage, but it wasn't to the dressing room where band was. It was to a room where they control the cameras and stage effects.

Kinda cute. It can't be denied.
Those SYW meet and greets weren't for general fans. It was for people who won promotional contests or stuff like that. You couldn't buy a meet and greet then for that tour, but you could for Unleashed.

As gifts for Unleashed they gave us a badge, a Fleetwood Mac bag, a CD holder and a copy of Mick's album.
Too many copies of Something Big than anyone should have to own. I tried to load them off on Biddy, but she was like, "Oh no dearie. I'm good."

Will Call makes me a little nervous. It said when I purchased my tickets that most venues will allow you to pick up on day of event. I guess I can call my venue and ask if I can pickup earlier than that?
Also, with the VIP package, will I be picking up more than just my two tickets? What does "VIP Entry to Venue" mean?
Sorry for all the questions, but this will be my first official VIP concert experience!

I've never done it before. But based on what other's have said in this thread, this is what I've gathered:
The VIP entry, I believe, refers to the fact that someone comes out and gets you and takes you into the arena before the show starts so you can meet and talk to Mick. I'm not sure if you'll get the other things (like the lanyard mentioned) at Will Call or if they will give you those things when you actually go in for the Meet and Greet, though.
for the first 4 shows, this is how many tickets are still available in first 5 rows via Mick's m&g -
12 for Columbus
6 for Philly
11 for NYC (all 5th row)
6 for DC

You won't be able to pick up your ticket before the day of the show. You will probably get an email before the event telling you what to do, what door to go to and what time to meet. There was a lady named Cory who took care of it last time and there will probably be someone like that this time. VIP entry just means that she will escort you in, probably an hour or more before the show. She'll give you your stuff and let you buy merchandise, take you to the meet and greet and show you your seats.

These are great for the Hollywood Bowl Venue. I just grabbed a couple tickets and the cost for the VIP package is just $100 more than the actual face value of the tickets in the pool section (those tickets are FACE VALUE at $319.45 which is insane). Way cheaper than I thought I'd be spending to land in the pool circle even if the only seats listed on the page are row five.

Ditto here....we wanted to do this experience at one of the shows...i figured this would be the smartest choice. There will be under 100 people in the pool if I calculated it right. A lot of bang for your buck at this venue!

That's awesome! I'm really tempted to take advantage of it now myself -- all the broker prices have become insane. Tickets I saw yesterday for $300-500 range are now up to $700-1200+. It's absurd.

Last night about this same time I got 4 tics in the 2nd row in the middle section (2) for Tacoma.
It's a crappy venue, but not if you're right at the stage. For SYW we were able to stand in front for the whole concert. I hope that's still the deal. The last few concerts I've been to have been more like going to an opera than a rock concert. Security makes sure everone stays in their seats. It's hard for me to believe there are more crazies now than in the 70's and I wonder how big the toke cloud will be in there now that weed is legal here. Hum, this is going to be interesting

I believe this has only happened to 2 people, and they were friends buying seats right next to each other but in separate orders. It's sad that it happened, but I have been following what they've been saying, and to me it really seems like a computer glitch. I doubt it was a malicious scam from the company's part. GrountCntrl refunded their money but since the tickets were already sold to someone else they couldn't give them the seats they originally had.
But yeah, if you're worried about it, just call. I was paranoid so I talked to customer support, and they checked my order and everything went through and my tickets were reserved for me properly.
That appears to have been an unfortunate but isolated situation. Sorry for those who experienced it and I hope it can be remedied somehow!

Wildhearted, you are a bit confused. I was one of the people this happened to and while I am friends with the other person who has complained, I was not ordering for her nor was she attempting to get a seat next to me. Ironically, the seat she was "sold" was the same seat I was "sold", however!
Let ME clarify so no more misinformation gets spread.
The breakdown of what happened to me yesterday:
- I click on "buy" as soon as it goes on sale. I've been watching it like a hawk and refreshing, because I want front row tickets pretty badly.
- I have 2 tickets in my cart, but only one of them has a seat location. That seat location is FL 2, Row A, Seat 14 (front row center). I go ahead and complete the purchase because I figure the second ticket must be next to the one that's listed. The order goes through; the charge for two tickets is pending on my card and I receive an email confirmation.
- I'm worried that the second seat isn't listed on my order - there's just a blank where the seat info should be, so I call and inquire as to where the second seat is. As I'm on hold, one of my friends who is also purchasing for Columbus calls to let me know that the seat I already told her I'd purchased is back on sale!
- Panicked, I tell the lady this when I'm connected to customer service. After looking into it, she tells me that I don't have that front row ticket; indeed, I have no seat assignment for either ticket, but they will now give me one: FL 1, Row B, Seats 1 and 2. This is the far side of the second row, as far over to the side as you can get. These are not the kind of seats I thought I was buying. I complain that the seats are much worse than the ones I had been promised at checkout and I am told I either take those seats or take a refund. I take the refund.
- I go back on and buy two more seats myself, this time in the center of Row B.
A short while later, I hear that this also happened to a friend of mine who was buying a ticket at the same time. It appears she was "sold" the same seat. I found this out after the fact; before then, I hadn't even known she was going to the Columbus show. We were not acting in tandem. The person she wanted to sit next to is a mutual friend, but that really has no bearing here, does it?
I guess this was a glitch. Sadly, grndcntrl gave me no explanation as to why they sold my front row seat to someone else, so I'm left to just assume that. Instead, they acted like I was unreasonable for not taking the alternative seats since they were within the first five rows, and then acted like they were doing me a big favor just by granting me a refund because "these tickets are usually nonrefundable." I think at that point they were simply unable to give me the front row tickets since they had been resold, but they didn't want to admit it. I assume that they would have given me those tickets if they had been able to... that's me giving them the benefit of the doubt, since they never actually granted that I'd ever even had the ticket. When I first called, they tried to tell me no one was getting seat assignments. I assume this initial inaccurate information was simply a mistake and not deliberate misinformation on their part.
Thank God that I inquired. Can you imagine what would have happened if I'd never called about the second ticket, assuming all would be well, and showed up at Columbus with the expectation of being front row center.... only to be told THEN that my front row seat was no good? After travel expenses and emotional investment, to only be told then that I'd be left out in the cold? Where would they have stuck me then? A refund would have been small recompense indeed at that point. It makes me sick just thinking about it. Again, thank God I didn't assume that just because $850 was pending on my credit card and that I had an email confirmation, that there would be no problems.
That is why I caution other purchasers from assuming everything is cool and encourage you to inquire and confirm your seats, just to be safe.
Assume their system glitch only affected two orders at your own risk.

Thanks for clarifying, Nancy. It's a bit confusing with multiple people telling similar but apparently different stories.
For the record, I certainly wasn't trying to insinuate that this had anything to do with people trying to buy seats at the same time, nor that it was at the fault of the buyers at all. I was just explaining the situation as I read it on facebook, where one affected party (I have no clue who this was) posted that they had been buying "Front row center seats right next 2 friends of mine (all separate orders) 1 order went through, 2 didn't." It seems I must have interpreted that statement wrong.
I definitely agree about calling to check your order if you are concerned. I personally did just that after buying my tickets when I heard of this happening, just to be safe. So again, I wasn't trying to make light of the situation and I apologize if it came off as such.

I know who posted that. What she means is that our mutual friend's order was successful (that's the one that did) but neither she nor I got the tickets promised us (we were the two separate orders that didn't). While she was in contact with our mutual friend throughout this process and was told where we were sitting - or at least where at the time we thought we were sitting - I didn't hear about it until afterward. I was on hold with customer service when she was doing her buying, from what I can gather.
Indeed, it seems that she was one of the people they resold my ticket to! I wonder who wound up with it in the end? I certainly hope there aren't any more people out there who think they have that seat and don't.

Someone else mentioned Tom Petty and even Bruce Springstteen utilized GA tickets to be assured that front row seats don't go for thousands. There's just got to be a better way.

Keep trying. I was on hold for awhile but eventually got through to a rep who took my e mail and was able to confirm my tickets. They might be backed up because they are so close to the regular TM sale- maybe a lot of people are buying VIP or calling about questions.

i know i know i was thinking about Wiltern SA... that worries me ;) . guess if that happens will have to find some chiffs to switch sides. shouldn't be that hard, there are more of them
haha i just had this image of them walking out on stage, lindsey to her right. then everyone moving seats to the appropriate side  very orderly like. like, oh excuse me guys, could you hold on a second! don't start, we have to switch seats. unless...you all just want to switch around. that would be much easier ;)

Someone else mentioned Tom Petty and even Bruce Springstteen utilized GA tickets to be assured that front row seats don't go for thousands. There's just got to be a better way.
To me, making it General Admission would be even worse than what's happening now.

I called that number to verify too but couldn't get through.
I called that number, heard the same song twice in a row, and then the automation came on and said not to leave a voicemail and try again later.
So, I went to their Support on their website and emailed them asking them to verify and confirm my seats. I received an email back from them confirming everything no less than 15 minutes later. As far as I can tell, great customer service.
Plus, now I have black and white proof from them that I am good to go.

Yeah, I'm not worried about being like.. lonely.. I'm just worried about being safe lol. I'm a really paranoid person.
I think as it gets closer I'll probably end up buying my mom a cheap ticket just so I'm not walking around alone downtown in the middle of the night. She doesn't care where she sits anyway, actually she doesn't care if she goes lol, but she'll enjoy it regardless.
I feel like I sound like such a baby - I'm actually almost 20 (so, yep, a baby :P) but like I said, really paranoid.
Haha yeah, I'm taking my parents :) I'm considering it their birthday, anniversary, and Christmas present for next year :p My dad is really excited, my mom is terrified of meeting Mick hehe - It will be funny because my parents are both more like Stevie's height! I'm actually taller by a few inches than them both. Can't wait for my picture, especially considering I may wear my "Stevie" boots haha.

10 Fleetwood Mac Shows Now SOLD OUT of Mick Fleetwood VIP Meet & Greets w/ Guaranteed 1st Five Row Tickets
These are the venues reporting sell-outs of the top tier VIP Experience Tickets where you get to meet Mick Fleetwood and sit in the first 5 rows during Fleetwood Mac. There are two packages offered. Both are the same in terms of content, except for the seating. The $425 tickets get you a seat within the first 5 rows. The $375 tickets get you a ticket within the first 20 rows and typically start around 10th row. Two shows are reporting complete sell-outs, Chicago and Los Angeles. There are still VIP tickets for the first 5 and 20 rows at all other venues - but not a lot. For instance in Columbus and Philadelphia, one ticket remains for each show in the $425 category. This is a pretty good deal for a Fleetwood Mac fan when you consider Ticketmaster is selling premium tickets in the first few rows for more then what Mick is offering, but with the Ticketmaster tickets, you don't get to meet Mick! Check out Mickfleetwoodofficial.com if you are interested. Simply register and log in and purchase your ticket... I did!

About 8 years ago, I used to work with someone who insisted on flying a private jet from Jackson Hole, Wyoming to Los Angeles and the flight and fuel costs were $80,000 per trip. I sure like to hope that their business took a hit in the recession, because it was madness.

Darn it. I am just afraid that if the Harley is custom tailored, it won't fit me, because I'm just a wee bit shorter than Mick. My legs won't reach the pedals!

Ideally it would be more exciting if a true FM fan won this in a contest but in reality, if you can afford such an amazing opportunity, I say GO FOR IT!!! How cool would it be to fly in Mick's private jet? Sure I'd rather it be Stevie's. But I'd take Mick's if that was my only choice.

I am also a little upset that for that price, $30,000 for Boston/Toronto and $40,000 for the other two, you aren't guaranteed tickets in the first row. Just first 5.

That Jet Experience strikes me, well, it actually doesn't strike me so much as outright repel me. Meet and Greet packages haven't ever passed my smell test. But this more than verges on a type of prostitution. It isn't very dignified.
But hey, if you're gonna make your living on your back, better in a suite in the Plaza than in a truck stop. Maybe the price elevates the perception of the act in a way that erases the indignity of it all.

also how many other people are also there for the meet and greet? 50? 100?

Look... I'm sure everybody here has worked in a job where they were just in it purely for the money- jobs that were either extremely stressful or degrading or both. You could have probably taken a better, more honorable job... but the low pay wouldn't justify it. As such, I don't begrudge Mick for doing this; if there is a market for this ultra-VIP experience, why leave perfectly good money on the table? Is it expensive and out-of-reach for 99.99% of the population? Of course! It's intended to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a select few, not a cattle car full of "commoners." Unlike Stevie or Lindsey, Mick doesn't earn publishing royalties and he doesn't really make money as a musician outside of Fleetwood Mac during the down years. Sure, he has a restaurant, but it is entirely possible that Fleetwood's on Front Street is still operating in the red, which is typical for any new restaurant. When you combine his lack of a well-paying gig for the past three years with the (assumed) large overhead associated with his lavish Maui spread and an impending divorce, it all adds up to a potential financial cliff. Considering that this could possibly be Fleetwood Mac's last major world tour, he needs to ensure that he can sustain his financial well being in retirement, as well as provide for his young children. And the restaurant may not be profitable for years, if ever.
Is Mick proud of doing something like this? Probably not. But obviously he isn't exactly ashamed of it either. Mick is a bit of a talker and I think he probably thoroughly enjoys talking the s*** with fans and showing off glimpses of his rock and roll lifestyle. While taking such a VIP trip with someone as introverted and socially awkward as Lindsey may be a tortuous marathon of pregnant pauses and weirdness, I would imagine that Mick would be a generous, attentive, voluble host.

.
He would earn performer royalties on all Mac records, and, because the band lists the entire band as producer on many of their records (Rumours for one) he also earns producer royalties on all records sold where that is the case. Yes, they split that 5 ways among the band and with whoever the outside producer(s) were but he's still getting royalty checks when the band isn't doing new work. Not the same money as when you can add in songwriting royalties and publishing royalties as well but it's not bad at all. It's only a problem if your lifestyle exceeds that income and whatever income you arranged through investments.

yes, i am surprised that so many people who bought Mick's m&g tickets because of the good seating options are feeling they will have nothing to talk about with him. he seems like a very pleasant person to talk to and i'm sure meeting him should be interesting experience.
i agree about Lindsey too - he seems to be naturally introverted but that really didn't come across at all during all those meet&greets he did last year (which were so cheap that making money couldn't have been the goal; whatever reason he had for doing them i'm ecstatic that he did and that i had some opportunity to talk to him). there were no awkward pauses, and he was very pleasant.

I bought one M&G ticket and I honestly don't have anything to ask Mick other than a barrage of questions about Christine. I am mostly doing it just for the sake of getting a guaranteed front row spot.
Yes, I'm sure Lindsey is quite pleasant and affable in a brief, controlled meeting. But I'm talking about flying around in a private jet, going out to dinner, going golfing, and all of the other VIP package activities. That's a lot of time with Lindsey. And when you spend that much time with someone, you can't spend the entire time asking niggling questions about his music and career. And that's when it gets awkward. You either run out of things to talk about within a couple of hours, or you have to kinda just talk about life and stuff. Lindsey doesn't strike me as the type of person who just talks about random stuff with strangers. And it's probably considered invasive to ask about his personal life, especially if it concerns his wife, his kids or Stevie. So what else? Politics? OMG, what if he is some kind of Fox News-addicted right wingnut? It's highly, highly unlikely, but what if you start talking about politics and then have a massive argument? We all know about Lindsey's (alleged) anger management issues!

Oh, I'm sure Mick gets some kind of performance royalties. But, as you said, it's a sliver of a sliver of a sliver. It's probably enough to live on if he was living alone in a non-luxury condo in Miami. But papa gots bills to pay. And considering that he filed for bankruptcy in the late 80s/early 90s, it's safe to say that most of the Rumours money has been squandered/snorted. Yes, by most people's standards, he is still very wealthy. But given his lifestyle and obligations, I think it probably unnerves him somewhat to go for long periods of time without making a big payday.

well, luckily you will never have to worry about whether or not you can feel at ease and can carry a normal conversation with Lindsey since it's Mick and not him offering these ;).
if i remember correctly, at the time One Take first came out, there was a lot of characterization of LB as a cadillac liberal so i don't think you'd have to worry about his political inclinations.
the one FM member i could never see myself beeing able to spend any time with is Stevie... maybe it would be ok when she was younger, but she seems to never stop talking these days. i know too many people like that in real life and don't think i'd be able to stand it for entertainment purposes too. she also seems to be someone you'd have to walk around on the eggshells ("you wouldn't say that to Bob Dylan!" comes to mind), and i'm not sure about her political views.
John definitely seems to have very different political views from what mine may be, but somehow i'm thinking i could find something to talk about with John, although from all we know he's probably the one who is the least talkative of that bunch, if you are worried about the pregnant pauses.
Christine looks like she'd be really interesting to spend some time with... but like you said, it's hard to tell, we really don't know these people outside of their public persona.
so if i had my pick of spending some time with any of the 5, it would probably be Lindsey, Christine, and Mick, in that order.

I wouldn't expect to talk to Mick or anyone else during an entire flight. Hopefully, if they sell all 6 tickets, the buyers will be mostly talking to each other or enjoying the sights and not engaging the celebrity. I wouldn't want Mick to talk to ME for the whole flight, so I know I wouldn't be trying to talk to him. Although, how long will flights really be, the tour stops are pretty close together.
As for Lindsey, you know he's a Democrat; you're just being devilish. Also, while I imagine talking about Stevie and band politics is off limits, I don't think he minds talking about his kids.

Michele
On a private jet, I don't think there are many places to hide. And if Mick has guests, I don't think he would be so rude as to tune them out for long periods of time. He will probably spend prolonged periods of time interacting or serving bottles of wine or something. And high tea every afternoon is a given.
I'm not 100% sure about Lindsey's stand on the issues, but yes, he is probably a limousine liberal. Although I'm sure he probably experiences momentary flashes of right wing rage whenever he sees most of his income handed over to the government (I know the feeling too! :p). Also, given his extremely private nature, I suspect he is extremely protective of his kids, and that's a line I'm sure most fans would respect.

Anne Heche said she had to verify that Lindsey was a liberal Dem, before dating him, but , of course, that was 20 years ago now.
You know, Lindsey (or Kristen) wasn't that protective of his kids when they were small. I doubt that that has changed a lot now that they're older and more independent. I have never seen Stella talking to fans, but those older two would run around rather freely before the concert started and if people wanted to talk to them, they did.

well, luckily you will never have to worry about whether or not you can feel at ease and can carry a normal conversation with Lindsey since it's Mick and not him offering these ;).
if i remember correctly, at the time One Take first came out, there was a lot of characterization of LB as a cadillac liberal so i don't think you'd have to worry about his political inclinations.
the one FM member i could never see myself beeing able to spend any time with is Stevie... maybe it would be ok when she was younger, but she seems to never stop talking these days. i know too many people like that in real life and don't think i'd be able to stand it for entertainment purposes too. she also seems to be someone you'd have to walk around on the eggshells ("you wouldn't say that to Bob Dylan!" comes to mind), and i'm not sure about her political views.
I honestly have no desire to spend time with any of them. Sure, meeting them is fun and exciting. But spending prolonged periods of time, during which you know most of them would be looking at the clock or thinking about other pressing matters, is another thing. Unless they take an active interest in you as an individual, they are being put out in a sense, and that's a terrible feeling. And other than my admiration for their music and lives, we would have pretty much nothing to talk about!

Did all the M&G sell out for the UK shows? (Not that I would bother tbh) Someone said earlier that they would love to do a M&G with Christine (I know it's never going to happen but we can dream, ay) and I completely agree. Although Stevie i my favourite I'm not entirely sure if I would know what to say to her...apart from a load of stuff she probably hears on a daily basis. Whereas Christine seems pretty chilled out. Even from watching Mac interviews I've always found Christine the most interesting, her humour is very British and I like that.
AND I found out that she went to art college ten minutes from my house. If only I was born sixty years earlier hahaha.

only M&Gs that are available are with Mick and you can check here whether they sold out http://mickfleetwoodofficial.com/events .
we are just kidding around speculating about other members. yeah Christine looks like someone you might have fun sitting next to in the pub and bs. :)

I agree with that. Quite frankly, other than wanting to tell them to run Fleetwood Mac my way and stop making so many stupid moves, because I know best, I don't even think about talking to any of them.
I mostly think about the conversations I might have with Larry David or Ricky Gervais, but even then I'd want us to be on an equal level. I wouldn't want to approach them as one of their tv viewers and say, "Oh, I just love your work so much." I'd like to run into them in the ice cream shop and find out we have mutual complaints about the service or something. That's my daydream.
Also, I think if I saw Chaz Bono, I would tell him how much I liked Sonny, because I don't think he gets that a lot and I would say to Nigella Lawson or her children how much pleasure John Diamond gave me as he was dying of cancer and how I'd be laughing so hard every week -- and then crying. I think if I saw an opportunity to make an acknowledgment of someone who I don't think gets a lot of attention anymore, I would do that. But that wouldn't include anyone in Fleetwood Mac.

I love Christine's caustic humor, but I don't get the impression she'd be very open to a conversation. I wouldn't even try to talk to her. I'd just eavesdrop on what she was saying to someone else. I think she's very down to earth among her peers, but I don't think she's open to fans, partly because she'd feel very uncomfortable, but like it or not I do think she can be quite cold. I mean, I don't love her any less. I probably love her more because of that, but I think I'd keep my distance. Michele

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. I liked your last post about wanting to meet people on a more personal level, not approach them as a fan. I have a friend who is OBSESSED with meeting band members but I've never been bothered. I like seeing the show then getting the train home, not see the show then wait an hour outside for them. I don't think I'd ever want to meet someone I looked up to. Everyone's different though so fair play to those one who do meet their idol. :)

You know, this private label experience is attractive to me, but not really because I'd feel like an insider or schmooze with Mick (as if that's an enticement). I mean it's trying to give you an artificial sense of being "one of the band," just like Vegas tries to give you an artificial sense of being in Paris, Italy or NY. The backstage lounge you'll be in, for instance, won't be the same lounge that Mick would be actually be in, if he wasn't hosting fans. Nothing is real. Still I think I could get something out of it. From a social perspective though, it would not be that comfortable.
When I first came to California, I went home for Christmas but not Thanksgiving and, of course, I missed the family gathering a bit. My friend would always invite me over for her Thanksgiving, but I would decline, because being in the midst of someone else's family (when you didn't know them) would not make me miss my family less. It would make me miss them MORE. You can't make a stranger magically not feel like a stranger. You aren't getting a real band experience with this package, you're getting a simulation. Still, I think it has its merits.

 yeah i realized after i posted that i only half-read your message.
i was thinking about what "spending time" seems to mean to various people. there is a middle ground between spending a minute at a m&g and spending 3 days in Mick's plane.
one of the things i enjoy so much about going to these shows is meeting people from all walks of life that i never normally would, having dinner or lunch or breakfast with them, or a drink after the show. some of it i may enjoy more, some less... but i definitely find it interesting. so yes, the same way i may have had a dinner or a drink with several people i met through The Ledge or at the show, i would not mind having a drink with someone like Lindsey or Christine. it may turn out to be interesting, or not, but i cannot say that i would not want to do it. even if they refused the actual drink like Lindsey did when mylittledemon bought him that bourbon. ;)

I don't like having drinks with people either.
That's why I only went through the meet and greet once for unleashed and after that Cory gave me my tickets and goodie bag separately and I didn't talk to anyone else after that.
With this private-label experience though you get to and from the first stops on your own. After that you only travel with Mick from Boston to Toronto or from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. That doesn't give you a lot of time to kill at all.

I actually agree with almost all of this. I don't understand when people come down on a band for wanting to promote themselves, and make money. And I also agree that Mick probably enjoys talking to fans.
The fact that more likely than not, it will be business people who can afford the jet thing, I also think it might be an opportubity for Mick to do a little networking, maybe to help with his restaurant, or future restaurants? He always has some business thing going, so why not?
The part I don't agree with (and this shouldn't be a shocker to anyone) is that Lindsey would be awkward to talk to. Personally, I think any of them would be fine to talk to. They all seem like nice people, and I'm sure all (except John :p ) could hold a conversation. But with regard to Lindsey, I think he looks awkward in TV interviews for sure, which is why I don't usually like watching them. He never seems like himself. It's nothing at all like what he's like one on one, though. He was always really easy to talk to at the m&gs, and not just when you talked about his music. My feeling was that he enjoyed a good conversation as much as the next guy.
Lastly, I'm glad Mick's doing the m&gs. Otherwise I'd have had to pay double or triple to get the same seat, and had to buy two seats! So, rather than begrudge him as some have, I'm thrilled to finally get to sit up front! And I'm very much looking forward to meeting Mick. Why not? He's interesting, personable, and loves to talk.
Should be fun :blob1:

Oh, I think John is a great conversationalist. He may not like to spend a lot of time doing p.r., but he's pretty affable and funny. I mean, maybe it would not be a good idea to catch him during one of those drunken bouts that colleagues have talked about, but I think just talking to him would be a great, pleasant experience as a fan, even if he can be intimidating to work with on a professional level.

I don't know how many people there will be. They probably try to make it more organized when there are more people. But when I did it for Unleashed there were just like 7 people and you can go up separately (or together if you're together), but it was right at the stage area when the venue was still empty, so even if you aren't the people who are right next to him at the time, you could kind of hear his conversation with the others.
So, they took pictures and then the next people would go up, but it's not like you left the room. After you had the conversation with him, he was only 10 feet away and you could still hear what he said and respond to it (laugh or say something), even if it wasn't said directly to you. It felt like a group, but I guess if there are 20 people, then it wouldn't be that free. They might put you in a line or something.

I've spoken to her before and never mentioned her career or her father's. BUT I do have a picture of her on my Ipad with Lindsey and Melissa Etheridge and I'd probably like to ask her about that. This is a nice opportunity for some lucky lady. If you've been saving up a dowry for a hubby, I don't think it would be a bad $30,000 - $40,000 investment. Just do your research first and try to find out what Mick likes in a woman.

i dont want to try and become friends with them - just a quick autograph and photo and i am happy. :)

The fans sat with the coordinator talked, played a trivia game she had, had drinks. Went to the merchandise stand. There were about 60-90 minutes to kill before meeting Mick.

Yes it was over by then. Keep in mind that the meet and greet I went to didn't happen backstage. It happened in the stage area. They hadn't let concert goers in yet. This time around, they may take people backstage or to a private area, so it might not work the same.
The only time I ever went to another area was when I didn't do the meet and greet with Mick and then they took me to an area next to the stage where the guy controlled the lighting and video, while the other people in our party did do the meet and greet. They forced that poor lighting man to talk to me for 30 minutes:sorry:

I sent them an email yesterday via their support system. This is what they said in reply:
Thank you for contacting ground(ctrl) support.
The only item being shipped to you is the ticket. Fan club pre-sale tickets generally ship 2-3 weeks before the event date. As soon as we receive the tickets for your event from the concert promoter, we ship them out that day. You will know that your tickets have shipped when you see the order status has changed to 'FULFILLED'.
The status of all orders can be viewed using this link:
http://www.mickfleetwoodofficial.com/account/orders
If for some reason you do not receive the tickets in time, a list of all ticket purchasers will be provided to the venue box office and they will be able to reissue new sets of tickets to the purchaser at the will call box office on the day of the event upon presentation of a photo ID and receipt. If you do not receive your tickets and it is 3 days before your event, please contact us so that we can notify the venue that you will be asking for reprints.
Have a great time at the concert!
Sincerely,

not sure if anyone has seen the chaos of the justin bieber meet and greets before his concerts?
people have moaned that it was a barely 10 second meet, some fans were paired up in photos with people they didnt know - so they got a stranger in the pic and the photographer was shocking - some pics too bright and some too dark and some of Justine Bieber right at the back of the shot as there were too many people in the picture.
and after having a pic taken they are then dragged off by security so the next person/people get their photo taken with him.
and all these terrible photos are put up his website so everyone can see them.
I am wondering if the mick fleetwood meet and greet will be the same - at least i am prepared i guess.

There are no tickets for the Mick meet & greets, it's will call only. I'm sure we'll receive more information via email a few days before the show.
I just logged on and looked and my order status says fulfilled already, and my show isn't until the end of April

not sure if anyone has seen the chaos of the justin bieber meet and greets before his concerts?
I think it is funny that the little queen changed his outfit 3 times(that we know about) for these M&G's.

They're probably from, ya know, different shows.

It's a bit weird here in England.....apparently the Birmingham tickets are Will Call but we are being sent tickets for Manchester and Glasgow.
Sure enough, my Birmingham show says FULFILLED, but my Manchester and Glasgow status says READY and shows shipping details!

for london it says FULFILLED/WILL CALL.
What i find strange is that it says on the receipt that i have tickets but it doesnt give the date.

OK - looks like it's just Manchester and Glasgow then that are different! They charged around $60 for shipping costs!
And the receipts do not stipulate which show/date they are for.

Hi everyone,
With the first show quickly approaching, I just wanted to check in and see if anyone had recieved any info via e mail or phone about the meet and greets. I have a confirmation e mail from ground control after I initially purchased my VIP tickets and it says that my tickets will be at will call. I'm just wondering how early we need to be at the venue for everything. This is the first time I purchased tickets this way so I can't help but be a little nervous without having tickets in my hand!
Thanks!

I haven't heard anything either. And, I don't really care about the B.S. meet and greet. I just want my ticket to be there and tell me what time to pick it up.
It's still a bit early but I will be highly annoyed if I don't hear from them soon. It's a lot of money and I really don't trust them all that much.
I just emailed them to say "What gives?!?" considering the tour starts in a few days.
EDIT: Got a VERY quick response:
Hello Ali,
Thank you for contacting ground(ctrl) support.
All VIP purchasers are sent an email with information regarding check-in about 48 hours before the event. Please note that VIP events GENERALLY take place about 2 hours before the show. Please contact us the day before your event if for whatever reason you do not receive your email.
Have a great time at your event!

Thanks for doing that, Ali! Good to know that we'll be receiving SOME information regarding everything. I'm with you, Regina. I'm a little wary of everything especially with so much money involved. I'm mostly concerned with getting my ticket in my hands. I mostly purchased for the guaranteed good seat so the meet and greet is really just an extra bonus.

Thanks, Ali. That helps a lot. I won't panic till Thursday!
Still haven't heard anything from grdctrl about Columbus. Has anyone gotten an email yet?

I got the email for the Columbus show yesterday. It says to bring a photo ID and be at the box office at 5:30pm. The VIP Coordinator will then check you in and bring you inside the building for the meet and greet. If you do not show up at the time listed above, we cannot guarantee admission into the VIP event.

Never mind. Just got it. Said the same thing. 5:30. 2 1/2 hours to kill (more like 3, I'm sure). Yikes.

I'm so curious too! I'm especially curious about how long it was and if you were able to enter the venue before the general public. Really want to make sure I snag a standing spot by the stage! Thanks! :)

I didn't get there until about 7:20 and I still was in plenty of time to get a spot at the stage if I had wanted one.
Thing is, security came and made the people who had staked out a place at the stage move before the show. So, even those who were there earliest went back to their seats -- but they ran up again as soon as the lights went down.

Thanks for your reply! That's good to know. Security is so strange- it tends to vary from venue to venue I feel. I've been pretty lucky that the majority of the venues I've been to have included very friendly, laid back guards. I once had one walk me to my seat and tell me to quickly claim my standing spot by the stage! Hoping that happens again! Glad you had a good time!

They let us in at 5:30 but you have a host who takes you to your Meet and Greet.

Well yeah, they don't want you wandering around looking for Stevie Nicks' dressing room.LOL

Can you leave the venue after the meet and greet or is it once you're in, you're in? What questions were asked and answered?
I will be attending tomorrow, so looking for some guidance.
Thanks!

Good question about leaving the venue. I would prefer it if they would just give me my ticket and let me leave for 2.5 hours. Go get somethng to eat or something. Michele
