May 20 - Tacoma, WA
I can't believe I just moved 2 months ago from WA to MT. If I would've known this, I would've waited. Tacoma was like half hour away. Oh well, maybe they'll come here. A girl can dream, right?!

What a pain in the butt. Can't they wait until after Christmas before putting these on sale? Six months away, for pity's sake. (I'm especially annoyed because I was just plotting out my budget for next year).

It does especially since I just found out that the last time they played here was in 1976.... (according to Google). Oh well, maybe Peg & I can travel. We just have to see how she's feeling. She's disabled (she has spinal stenosis and RA in her spine) and has to use a power chair to get around. Hopefully something in MT will come up or ID. Fingers crossed :)

I'm surprised at this too, the holidays are coming up and people might not be able to afford tickets at this point in time.

I agree! I was hoping the tour would be announced in December and "on sale" dates in January/February. A bit anxious about the dates, would like to hit Hollywood, Boston, Tampa, Orlando, Lauderdale and maybe couple more...
Anyways definetly looking forward to it.

I am 100% convinced that all of these brokers have ins with ticketmaster and livenation. Why do good seats show up on scalping sites and then a week before the show they are gone and on ticketmaster? How they have not been sued is beyond me!

Pearl Jam tried to sue TicketScam and they failed because other musicians/ artists and people in the industry get kickbacks from TicketScam's exclusive contracts, so everyone wins....except the fans. Not only can fans not get the best seats (without paying out the arse) but the tickets fees are nothing short of ridiculous. Until fans stop supporting the live shows then it will continue, and that's not going to happen. The concert industry is in a sad state.

I've said it a hundred times they do and the ARTIST is in on it now Ticketmaster has cut them out and will sell in pairs only called ,Official Platinum Seats that can be as high as 6 times the face value
they all do this , and the "resellers know in advace what seats they will be given

After a three-year absence, the legendary rockers embark on a 34-city tour starting April 4 in Columbus, Ohio.

Story Highlights
Tickets go on sale Dec. 14 at LiveNation.com for the band's first shows since 2009
No album is planned, but a few new songs may be part of the set list
"You come to terms with the fact that no one's particularly interested in hearing anything too new," says Lindsey Buckingham
4:14PM EST December 3. 2012 - Hungry for a big Mac splurge? After a three-year absence, Fleetwood Mac embarks on a 34-city North American tour starting April 4 in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets for the first run of shows go on sale Dec. 14 at LiveNation.com.
The band, founded in 1967, is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its trailblazing Rumours, which sold 40 million copies worldwide, held Billboard's No. 1 spot for 31 weeks and spawned top 10 hits Dreams, Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way and You Make Loving Fun.
Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, who joined in 1975, and namesakes Mick Fleetwood and John McVie last toured in 2009 and haven't released a studio album since 2003's Say You Will.
INTERVIEW: Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham
Yet new tunes may be shoehorned into a set list packed with classics.
"There were some tracks John, Mick and I cut with Stevie in mind while she was on the road," Buckingham says. "It's the most Fleetwood Mac-sounding stuff I've heard in a long time. We've been talking about releasing an EP, but I don't know how these moving parts will fit together yet."
In light of the band's deep catalog, the singer/guitarist isn't concerned about a second consecutive tour without a studio album.
"We'd be OK for one more round," he says. "People do want to hear that body of work and be transported to a certain time. The older you get and the longer the band has been around, you come to terms with the fact that no one's particularly interested in hearing anything too new. It's about what you do with what you've got."
Nicks envisions performing hits, rarities and maybe a couple of migrants, particularly the war-themed Soldier's Angel, a duet with Buckingham from her 2011 solo album, In Your Dreams.
"It's become a standard in my set, and I get a standing ovation every night," Nicks says. "Fans might like seeing Lindsey and I sing it. And it gives me a chance to ask people to help veterans who are so young and so messed up. I turn into an eighth-grade teacher."
Opting to extend her solo tour, Nicks was a holdout when the band wanted to hit the road early this year.
"I had to put my foot down and say, 'I'm not touring with you in 2012,' and it wasn't a very popular idea," she says. "I always think it's good for Fleetwood Mac to be away for three years. Two years is like, well, 'I just saw you.' My feeling was, let 2013 be the year of Fleetwood Mac and make it an exciting event."

There's also 2 interviews with Stevie and Lindsey regarding the tour. One of them is about their relationship and says there's a possibility hey will re-release Buckingham Nicks in a 40th anniversary thing w/ an unreleased recording (guessing the thing Stevie was talking about). The other one is about how the tour came to be.

After months of increasing speculation, Fleetwood Mac have confirmed the dates, cities and venues for a nine-week tour beginning in April of 2013.
According to Rolling Stone, the 34 announced dates of the trek, their first since 2009, will kick off April 4 in Columbus, Ohio and wind up June 12 in Detroit, MI. There’s no indication of Christine McVie, who retired in 1998, rejoining her former bandmates so it’s assumed the rest of the ‘Rumours’-era lineup (Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood) will appear.
Nicks insists the band has chosen the perfect time to hit the road, declaring that “2013 is going to be the year of Fleetwood Mac.’ She also reveals that the band cut two new songs a couple of weeks ago that might make it onto the show’s setlists.
The group begins rehearsals on Feb. 15, and promises to take this tour all over the world, with both festival and regular concerts in Europe and a 15-city Australian visit penciled in for after the North American dates.

Please no festivals in Europe, I don't want to pay a sh*tload of money for a bunch of bands I don't even care about just to see FM. Just play the same venues as in 2009.
Also, I hope they shoot some new photos for promotion and not use those same old SYW pics again, that would be ridiculous since it's 10 years ago.

Ugh! Before they announced the dates I was praying it would not come to Ohio until late in the game so that maybe tickets would go on sale after the holidays. I guess no one is going to get a Christmas present from me now!
So I'm guessing there's going to be a 2nd leg? Assuming there is a modest amount of success? Strange that they're skipping Cleveland and Cincinnati. It's a shame because the Columbus shows I've been to have been kind of lame. The crowds there, IMHO, are weak.
I'm tempted to hold off on buying and see if more dates are announced slowly a la LB's recent tours. Since it's the first show (and closest to me) does that mean good seats will be harder to procure? Especially given the knowledge that FM's powers that be hold tix for scalpers?
Sorry...rhetorical questions...

Agree. Surely it won't just be festivals? Hard Rock Calling at Hyde Park wouldn't surprise me though. It's normally at the end of June or the first half of July. Bruce Springsteen headlined last summer. It was amazing. I'd prefer to see the Mac in an arena though.

Fleetwood Mac: Tour and Glasto Rumors
Band to tour US and talk about European festival shows

Stevie Nicks has sparked rumours that Fleetwood Mac could headline Glastonbury next year.
The band announced a series of US shows today, although no European dates have been confirmed so far.
Discussing the prospect of playing European shows, meanwhile, Nicks said: "If everything goes will we'll be in Europe doing festivals this summer. Then we'll actually tour Europe, which is different than just doing festivals. Then we might do 15 or so shows in Australia."

My cousin was a roadie (for Iron Maiden amongst others) and a couple of people he still speaks to in the business say that FM/their managers are 'in discussions' to play Glasto. I'm just wondering whether Stevie would cope with muddy boots!:p
I'd prefer them not to do festivals, but one exception would be Glastonbury. That place is special and FM would be perfect headliners.

Personally I love the fact that the dates have gone on sale so early. It gives time for people to budget, plan and save for travel, accommodation etc. This has been the exact opposite of how Stevie's recent tours have been sold. I'm just waiting for Europe/Aus/NZ dates now! :)

That's how I feel. I guess we really do have to buy the tickets NOW, if you want to get the best seats. So, that is holiday money out of our pockets. But as far as planning vacations and travel, this really helps an awful lot to have four months advance notice. Michele

I've noticed that the concert schedule has almost no back to back shows (meaning shows on consecutive nights). Is that because they want/need a day off in between shows, or do you think that they are keeping spaces open so that if they sell out, they can add multiple shows in certain locations?

I noticed that too... There are only 6 back to back show days out of the 2 1/2 months. I think it's so they don't burn out.

vegas!!! knew they would be back!
AND it's cheaper this time around. In 2003, the top tier ticketmaster price for the MGM was $250 each (which I paid). This time around it's $169.
I may be able to swing Vegas if I can find some decent packages, but I am going to Anaheim for sure. The Hollywood Bowl is out for me - those A-holes want $295!!!!! Give me a break.

I'm in East Lansing til the end of April. FM goes to DC April 9th.
I don't get back to northern Va until May. FM goes to Detroit in June.

I'm calm.
I'm pretty new to the whole concert thing in general, so please bear with my silly question. While I saw Stevie this summer, I've been waiting for ages to see Fleetwood Mac come around the Buffalo, NY area, and I'm pretty bummed about the lack of dates in NY. Do they commonly add more dates as time goes by, or is this it?

I think Fleetwood Mac is too big of an act to play the Hollywood Bowl as its ONLY Los Angeles appearance. it's a magnificent setting, but can't hold enough people. They have too many fans in such a large city to use the Bowl, for just one night. If they were doing 2-3 shows there it would be different. But with one show, you just ensure that not all of your fans will get to see you. People will resell their tickets for thousands of dollars. Scalpers are always a problem, but playing a venue that's too small only makes matters 10 times worse.
Of course, this ensures that their Anaheim show in a neighboring county will sell out, but it's rather frustrating.

When I downloaded the Live Nation app, I was surprised that they had a list of Fleetwood Mac concerts going back to 1970. I don't know if the list is complete but I know that the concert information on this site is not. I thought that the list that Live Nation had was a great way to maybe supplement what is here.
Also, if it's on a app that I can carry on my phone, that is wonderful, to be able to have that with me everywhere I go.
I don't want to praise Live Nation for anything, but that's really a nice feature to have for its artist profiles.

I don't like the Bowl because unless you're in the pool/pit you won't get near the stage and even then you need to be in sections B,C,D as the other sections are way off sides. Not a big fan of the Bowl period! Over-rated!

Your welcome!
I'm sure anyone in the Pool will be able to go to the stage, no matter where they are sitting, but I'd rather do the Honda Center as it's way cheaper and traditionally everyone in the first 10 rows at the Honda gets to line up at the stage even before the concert starts. :] Even if they do that at the bowl sections A, E, & F will be behind everyone else-I'm too short and too old for that nonsense. It's hands-on-the-stage and nothing less.

It's not worth the money it will cost to go to the Hollywood Bowl and the scarcity of tickets will artificially increase their street value. So, I don't want to go either. But I know that I will be disappointed to have them in Los Angeles and not be there too. That may make me do things against my better financial judgment. However, with my wiser mind prevailing at this time, I am concentrating on Anaheim as well.

I have a cousin living in LA and I'm debating whether or not to fly out for the Hollywood Bowl show. I'd be coming from the northeast but I was concerned about tickets for the show. It must be nearly impossible to get anything up front.

Yes, it's impossible to get anything up front and many of the seats in the tiered sections are private boxes. People go to the bowl and have picnic dinners before the show, so those seats go for quite a premium. I paid $500 to see Rod Stewart and Stevie and I couldn't see them all that well. Luckily, I knew what she looked like beforehand!
What I'm saying is, unless you look out and get tickets through the box office (which tickets are in short supply), you're going to pay a fortune for scalper tickets that aren't even good ones, if you want to see the show. Best bet for out of towners is to plan to see them in Anaheim.

I think it's always hard to get good seats. I overpaid the last tour for 2 FM shows which I bought from brokers because there were no decent seats coming up for me on TM. But I'm hoping to be able to see the avail tix & choose this time like I did with LB's show.

Yeah, I really like that feature! It was especially nice for LB's tour because, while arenas are generally the same layout, theaters vary quite a bit. Crossing my fingers for good presale options as well! I was able to get insane tickets to Stevie's first IYD leg in Chicago with the regular sale. I have to agree with you on this one. I'm a member of the Peter Gabriel mailing list. There was a pre-sale for mailing list members which I took advantage of a couple of weeks ago to get a front row seat for next year's Manchester show at face value. I kinda feel like they don't care about their fans when the first round of pre-sales are only for AmEX cardholders and they withhold tickets for the likes of stubhub. I logged on at 10AM with my AmEx and still couldn't get (what I consider) decent seats. Apparently you have to be a really fancy AmEx holder to get even better seats!

It's not they don't care about the fans, they care about the money more. Sad fact, but true. You can better believe AmEx is paying a pretty penny to get a exclusive pre-sale. AmEx is betting that people will sign up for their card thinking that they will get good tickets through a pre-sale. I also feel that fans should haven't to pay for some bogus fan club to get good tickets either ~ unless you get to meet the artist. With most concerts costing over $100, the best seats should go to the fans who want them most ~ pure and simple. Of course, that was the old days now it's about greed. With the ridiculous service fees everybody is making lots of money...so why can't the fans still have access the best tickets? Some artist, like Peter Gabriel, take a more active role in ensuring that the fans gets the best tickets, but FM is not going to be one of them...sadly.
I recently got a 3 row ticket to Carrie Underwood 4 hours before show time. I believe that the best tickets went to her fan club, but there was still a chance to get good tickets at the last minute. It was probably a scalper ticket that didn't sell for the outrageous price so it got resold at the last minute. Either way, the system is so messed up now.

You're correct. The best seating goes to Centurion and Platinum Cardholders. Next best seating goes to Gold card holders. Green card and blue card holders get back of the arena or side seating. You can get the appropriate customer service numbers on the web like I did. Once you get those numbers all you need is an AMEX card to complete the purchase-they don't check to see if you have a black card or a blue card.
In the old days you got good seats-now days with all the VIP LiveNation and Hot Seat packages you'll be lucky to get in the first ten rows even with an AMEX Centurion so don't sweat the pre-sale. Remember last tour FWM dropped floor seats for all their venues. I got second row at two different SoCal venues that way. One the day of at 5:00 PM.
Jackson Browne is the most fan-friendly artist out there. His pre-sales are free and the seats are primo, depending on the venue in rows 3-10 for under $100. He also makes primo seats availabe within the first 5 rows through the Guacamole Fund. They are usually $100 above face-value but it gives you a nice tax write-off which you don't get with the VIP Hot Seat Tickets or LiveNation. The first leg of his 2013 tour included Guacamole Fund tixs in the first two rows. I paid $250 for Thousand Oaks and most of that will be a tax write-off. Rather have that a pre-show party and some swag. Last ILAA pre-show party I went to in 2008 they gave us pop-corn for our meal and my back-up ticket I got through a ticket-drop was better than the seat in my 5 star package. That is when I stopped the madness.
Also, I read that you can buy an AMEX gift card, register it with AMEX in your name (by calling customer service) and use it to buy AMEX pre-sales. Don't know if the customer service number on the back of the Gift card will give you access though to the pre-sale itself. I'd use one of the AMEX credit card numbers you can get, as I stated above, through diligent research.
Just tried some of my AMEX numbers for the Honda Center and the best I could pull up with Section 102-row 23 using the Centurion Business Card Number. Regular AMEX side section off the floor.

They don't Give a F;ck about their fans. Six disc Rumours sellout, unbelievable prices for meet and Greet, they don't even have the guts to ask fans what songs they want to hear. Why not make Two set in stone setlists, with different seldom heard songs in between the So called " fanfaves ", the hits that -they think-everyone wants to hear?
No, fleetwood Mac is just a commercial brand, like lindsey likes to call it. No new album in ten years, and even So arrogant to say that fans don't want new music.
They don't have any idea of what fans want. They want cash for their small machines. And the other guys want to play and cash. Cash cash cash.

Argh! Had I realized this I may have been able to get a few rows closer, I'm pulling 21 and 23 now. But I'm still hoping to do better when presale is over.

Hm I'm not too thrilled with the choices. I've tried multiple times for Well Fargo and I keep getting the same seats, which are alright, but they're in the second half of the floor. It's so hard to know whether you should wait it out or just buy! I think I'll wait for the next presale.
Same here, nothing in sections 1, 2, or 3. In fact, AMEX preferred didn't have floor seats at the outset.
For future reference, sections 1 & 3 have 16 seats; section 2 has 20 seats, if I recall correctly.
Wait it out....I've gotten 8th row center or better the week of the show.

It's so hard to wait! Lol But thanks for the advice. They have 16 and 20? Then is this chart wrong? http://www.seats3d.com/mv/comcast_spectacor/center/stage_end_1/
Personally, I'd like to be either in 2 or 3 left aisle (so I can see Lindsey's handy work better ;) )

Cash cash cash.Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding!!!!!!

Posted in the presale thread as well..also frustrated and confirmed what I feared about presale not offering many floor options.
I even used every combination of ticket preferences..with a preferred Amex and normal Amex..and only got offered the second back half of floor sections for Chicago. Dissaponted and holding out for general sale next Monday..STILL stubborn and hoping for the front 3 floor sections. At that price..everyone deserves the front!

I hate to say it but you're right on the money (no pun intended). They don't care but if they're not careful it's gonna backfire and they'll play for half full (or half empty) arenas. They don't know what the fans want because they don't care to ask. We want new music, but they don't give a crap about what we want. This is going to be the 'same sh*t, different day' tour.

I think it's a bit harsh to lay this all at the bands' feet. We know the complications they have with all agreeing upon what to do when. I just think if we were talking about a band from the 60s or 70s that still tours, but is less successful than FM, no one would begrudge them of just playing the hits. I saw America this summer, they were fabulous! Did they have any new material? No. They had a few covers, e.g. Joni Mitchell, which were great! But nothing new. I just don't see anything wrong with bands playing their catalog of work. Besides, we are at least getting a couple new songs!
(P.S. I don't mean to say that groups like America aren't successful; I just mean there is a difference between bands that play Madison Square Garden and bands that don't.)

The local classic rock station in Atlanta is really promoting this tour. I've heard it being advertised since the tour was announced and they are giving away tickets and promoting the on sale date and playing a lot of Mac tunes.
Here was a bit I heard earlier:
DJ 1: "Fleetwood Mac is coming to Phillips Arena June 10th and you never know when it will be their last tour."
DJ 2: "But, they really seem to enjoy doing it."
DJ 1: "Yeah until a few weeks into the tour."

I think it's fair to say that FM cares about money. There are a lot of hands in the pot there. I don't want to believe that they don't care about their fans, but I don't know how much control they care to have over these situations either. It's annoying to say the least.
ANYWAY, if anyone is interested I got a pre-sale e-mail from Nationwide:

I might go or I might not go depends if tickets are available when I will have the money for it.Not happy about the ticket prices and not really feeling this tour either. But I do have a feeling though it would be there last tour as FM. Stevie and Lindsey might pop up solo tours in the next few years. But I definetly see it being FM's last tour and alright too if I miss it.I am in the middle so when April comes will probably take a chance and buy tickets at the box office day of show.If there is none available will enjoy my time anyway at the casino.

I agree estranged...I would be excited if the tour was promoting an album that we were all listening too right now, but to shell out the outrageous amount of $$$ they're asking for decent tickets, forget it. After being stiffed in Vancouver in '97, I saw them on the Say You Will tour in Spokane which was a decent concert, and being in front row, I got to see my favourite musicians up close and personal and "that's enough for me". Although I wish they'd played that one :)
Anyone heard anything about European (UK) dates? June looking likely.

unless an artist is touring behind a new full length release, just not a couple of new tracks on a compilation, I am not interested.
Trust me, I am not holding out hope for any real surprises via setlist. I USED to catalog their live shows for cdr traders, but this time I cannot see myself doing that, even though I do enjoy sharing shows I have been sent (by their recorders - such as Torri) My fandom for FM has gone (Though I still enjoy the family of friends I made here since June 2001).

I hope to go to the Mohegan Sun Show, But it is a maybe depending on ticket availablity and money situation, If I miss this tour it's ok.My concert days are winding down to ending soon.I keep saying this is my last show or I am not going. But If I have the money and ticket is available will be hitting this show otherwise last July was last Stevie show and 2009 Unleashed tour was my last FM show. I do really feel though this is FM's last tour they will never say it but I do believe it is.I do see another or two more tours with Stevie solo and probably the same for Lindsey solo. I do hope to catch this show at Mohegan Sun Arena in April.I am getting very frugal as I get older. I do have a problem paying around $150 $175 for tickets that are in the upper level of the arena.I know I don't have to go but they are my favorite band. and that amount will be the highest I would go but for upper level seating not for me might pass this show unless they go down in price. I don't think I am the only one that is thinking this way. I had my fun at the shows and saw alot of shows since 1986.

I agree with you on the tour I love hearing the songs live never get sick of hearing them live it's the high prices of the show doesn't make it fun anymore for me it's not enjoyable at the high prices. I had my fun at the concerts since 1986 thru 2012. My concert days have ended I think as well. Have shaken hands with Lindsey and Stevie at the end of the stage a few times and met Stevie in person at the barnes and noble union square cd/dvd live in chicago release signing in NYC she was awesome to meet during her break with FM on the Unleashed tour 2009.I had a blast hate to see it come to an end but it has to with me.Unless they tour and play at a bit cheaper prices then I might go again in the future.I will be passing on this tour and watch clips of the show on You tube.

i was wondering why you don't go for cheaper tickets (most of their shows tickets are priced at ~ $150 and $50), but then finally looked up Mohegan Sun prices and now i understand - wow, that's nuts!
i guess depending on how far mohegan sun and these other places are from you, would it be worth considering going to places like Boston, NYC or NJ instead? all these venues had tickets available at prices closer to what i listed above. of course, with the drive/travel i guess you'd be back to higher price again...

I would go to the NYC show little closer to the NYC side of CT than Boston but I might have to suck up the prices to go to the show but depends on the seating what I can get for as the show nears. If I can't get close to stage for that price I might not go.

You know, we can't say anything because one of these days the general public will know something about FM that we don't know already and we'll be glad to get the information. But when someone is aware that you're a diehard fan, it amuses me when they like to tell you basic things about FM and assume it's the first time you're hearing it. I usually say, "Oh really?" But inside I'm thinking, "Wow, if I didn't already know that, I'd kill myself."

Holy sheet I had a feeling they were going to add more shows.
I hope they will add Atlantic City.

I kept re-reading it thinking maybe I missed an AC show. Bummer (but here's hoping!)

Their 2009 Boardwalk Hall show was awesome.
I got to keep watching my email since I'm on their mailing list.
They have alot of choices of venues there.I hope they can get a booking package at one of the venues.Probably end up on a week night.

I just can't get excited about this up coming tour , saw the recent interview with stevie, lindsey and mick they do not looked thrilled at all about getting together and I am passin on this tour will watch you tube clips of this tour its cheaper that way..lol. Have fun for who ever is going but I refuse to pay high prices to a concert these days more important things to spend my money on guess getting older for going to the concerts its not the same anymore, will be watching live in boston dvd soundstage when they play here in Connecticut instead maybe if they come back around with a bit cheaper seats will catch the next show. The Tour Should be called Unleashed Part 2 and No This is not our Final Tour.

I don't believe anything this band says about changing the song set and doing a bunch of songs not usually performed. In fact I refuse to buy a ticket until I learn from the first few shows what they are doing. These tickets are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too expensive for me to spend my hard earned dollars on the same ole same ole and unfortunately despite their promises, I think we'll be rewarded with nil.

I agree Viv.I love to see them in the flesh.Todays tickets are way to much bread. But what is the big deal to mix up the set list a little on each show. Some other band that I see mix up the setlist and switchout tunes all the time. That keeps the show fresh.
They just have to go over the routine with the light crew and sound dept every night before the show to make sure everybody is on the same page.
One thing about FM is we are guaranteed to get two plus hours of music.
I go to shows up here in the Oakdale which I'm lucky to get one hour to 75 minutes of entertainment out of the performer for the same tix price as the FM tix are.
They must know that fans like us go to more then one show.

I did my taxes and am getting a refund bigger than expected this time. Although indulgent, I decided to pull the trigger and get Micks VIP tix for the San Diego show. Another reason I did it was because I'm not so sure great seats are going to pop up later on TM like in the past. There are platinum seats, brokers have their share and then Mick of course. There's only so many seats in those first few rows to go around. Plus the general public's interest is high this time around.
I was able to get a pair in the center section, row 4. Our seats are in the middle of that section too so we'll be right between Stevie and Lindsey! Ive had these seats before for a Stevie show and it was an awesome time that night. Buying these also gave me the luxury of looking forward to it for a long time - the show is July 5th. :) I'm so glad I don't hafta worry anymore about getting seats.
Now I just gotta figure out what I want to ask Mick!

Is anyone going to the Columbus show? I am looking for a good ticket and also some advice about hotels and such. I plan on flying in and leaving the next day. Any info about good hotels taxi fare to downtown from the airport and things to see in the afternoon before the show would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I originally was not going to this tour.....but then a couple things happen. One being them adding a Charlotte date. A bit of a two hour drive for me but eh, what the hell. Two being my girlfriend (who's never once showed interest in this band) has recently been listening to them on my iTunes when she's visiting and has requested a few (10+) of their songs for her own listening pleasure and then three, me mentioning the Charlotte date and her saying "I wouldn't mind going, never seen a real rock concert before in person..."
So, now I'm going. I forked out the money for some seats in the lower level that were not entirely too pricey, still in the back but about eye level with the stage and this will pop her Mac and rock concert cherry, so to speak. So, naturally only having seen them live once (Say You Will tour), Stevie once (2005 tour) and Lindsey once (SWS tour), I'm down with anything they can bring to my ears as long as it's not another God-awful Christine cover. I can handle World Turning/Don't Stop but if they butcher You Make Loving Fun or Little Lies or Everywhere, God help them...

Waiting for the way overpriced Philly Platinum seats to either drop in price or go back into the main pool of tickets. Also waiting to see if Mann(outdoor Philly), Atlantic City or PNC NJ gets added to the tour schedule.

I procured some 7th row seats over the weekend for Anaheim, Ca. :) So I'm going to two shows: Anaheim then San Diego! I can't wait - I missed out on seeing Stevie in 2012. This makes up for it.
