Flop. These ancient artists can't seem to find the balance between staying relevant and staying true. Sadly I can't think of an example where they did. Either way, I'm glad Cher is still trying.

Sounds good to me. I was listening from another room and the music sounded like GaGa's Bad Romance.

I like Cher's Believe when it came out in 1998 .Radio played the daylights out of it.It was big come back song for her.
I was Stevie have some luck as Cher has.I think this new tune will do good for Cher.

I liked how it started. Then later not big deal about the entire song, but it's ok

Sounds a bit like Believe, but I have no doubt this will be big in the clubs. I really like Cher, mostly listen to her songs from the 60s/70s, but I get there is a place for this music. How I feel about this song is how I feel about Lady Gaga. Do I want to listen to Lady Gaga whilst relaxing in my room, no. Do I want to dance to her songs on a night out? Yes.
I forgot to quote, so forgive me, but I just remembered someone mentioning how it's hard for older artists to find that balance - remaining true to who they are and keeping up with the times.
Some may want to kill me for saying this :o but, that's how I feel about FM at certain points in their career. I have a strong dislike for 80s music, but TITN sort of grew on me...It took time, and I still don't like all of the songs. However, I appreciate that they needed to roll with the times to stay present. Same goes for SYW, it has that early 2000s pop sound imo, and I'd honestly prefer that to the synth of the late 80s :xoxo:

Well...I think that Cher's voice is best suited to Pop/Rock songs, something that she used to do back in the late 80's and early 90's on her albums "Heart of Stone" and "Love Hurts". After "Believe" success she lost "it" for me. This new single unfortunately sounds like a desperate attempt at being young and fresh but comes across like superficial and very lame record. It's good to see that Cher is not doing what most artists at her age do-which is recording covers album-but on the other hand if her new album sounds just like its first single then I don't think I'll be interested in it.
