I was wondering if anyone here heard of the band Haim?
They made a cover of "Hold me" for the tribute album (but i think their cover only made it as a bonus track, right?). They also cover "Oh well" on their current tour.
Anyway is so Fleetwood Mac-y that i think you should give it a try. I really love their music and i think they will be big in a year or so.
Here are some of the best songs :
(sounds like Dreams to me)

And this one, though a bit more obscure, might be my favorite :

Great cover of FM's Hold Me.
I actually think that it sounds too much like the original.

I discovered them last month so it's all new to me.
I didn't even know that they loved LB (though the love for FM in general was obvious)!
What's your favorite song?

I hope they will continue and get big.
Get on the AMA awards instead of the junk they had on show last Sunday night.

Yeah, the harmonies are so on point with FM. Most articles cite their sound as 70's FM mixed with 90's R&B. A lot of their influences growing up seem to be a big mix of the two..which is the uniqueness that I love so much. A lot of their stuff, IMO due to their LB fondness, is most like Mirage/Tango era. You should watch the clip below, it's like a mini behind the music!

On You Tube you can find 'Run' and 'Falling' which I love. I like Spirit Wind as well! 'Honey & I' and 'Don't Save Me' are so unbelievably Mac..
Let me know what you think :thumbsup:

I was on Alana's (the youngest sister) tumblr the other day, and she added two photos of Stevie, it was quite great :).
I've seen that documentary just yesterday! I'm really in an Haim mood lately so i watch everything i can find about them. I didn't know the song "Run" though, it's quite great also. My favorite these days is "Let me go". So great.
And i agree about "Honey & I' and 'Don't Save Me", but i also hear it in "Forever" a lot

So funny, I follow her on twitter and just saw those pics too! Forever is like an extreme mash up of Stand Back, Everywhere and Little Lies. It's perfect :)

Who are on twitter? I'm trying to find you. I got myself a twitter a few weeks ago but think i might be too old school in my tastes for it :).
I also hear the Deep Dish version of Dreams in Forever!

So yesterday Haim won the Sound of 2013 BBC award (which is, i believe, a great thing, because Adele won 4 years ago, and also Keane, Mika, Ellie Goulding, and even 50 cent the previous years, etc.).
Also, i read this today in an interview for the BBC : "Much to their pleasure, Haim have frequently compared to soft rock dinosaurs Fleetwood Mac.
The sisters covered Hold Me for a tribute album and ordered tickets to the band's 2013 tour the morning it was announced.
But they will not be saying yes to a support slot. Este says: "We couldn't play before them. We would melt like sugar cubes in the rain.""
I don't believe they were asked to play anyway because Fleetwood mac's set is already long enough, but damn that would be mind-blowing. I think i'd actually prefer this combination with a shorter Fleetwood Mac set.
Anyway, if you want to listen to Haim, here's another great, great song :
