From today's Tampa Bay Times:

Rumor has it Nicks might be bringing television cameras to her show in St Pete, supposedly to capture material for an upcoming project involving Oprah Winfrey's OWN network

Well, it won't be the same exposure for Stevie as it was when Oprah's syndicated show was on the air. No one seems to watch OWN, but it still would be exciting, especially paired with a DVD of the IYD tour, in addition to the documentary we're already getting.

Very Interesting. I wonder if she is planning anything special for this show since it will be recorded. Possibly a special guest? IDK can't wait to hear.

I am going to be there also. I wonder if she will pull out New Orleans for the AARP show and leave it in her set for the last few shows of this tour? That would be great. I will be at the show myself. I am really looking forward to it...especially in such a small venue.

Still no word on who is opening? Fingers crossed it'll be "nuttin' but Nicks." :]

I think it is just Ms. Nicks. My friend was at the Mahaffey few days ago for the Go Go's concert(no opener) and was asking around. They said they believe it will be just Stevie. He managed to get a handful of "Handbills" promoting Stevie's show, there was also no mention of an opener on the advertisement piece or posters.
Have fun at the show tonight!

Agreed. I don't want to sit through an opener. The show starts at 7:30, so she has all night to sing. So looking forward! :blob2:

^If she's filming Master Class - maybe they are interviewing her backstage.

There was one man on stage quietly filming a few things. GDW, Edge and I think Love Is.
She did not sing New Orleans.
She looked great. Sounded great. Audience loved her and she got many standing O's.

^Thanks for the update. Someone posted a pic on facebook of a "consent to be videotaped" sign on the door as you enter the venue.

Hubby saw the sign but I missed it somehow.
She was also very chatty and a bit air-heady-ish, lol.
Had a great time!

There were many camera men with hand held cameras who moved all around the venue tonight They didn't seem to record whole songs, just bits and pieces.
Great venue for a concert. The sound quality was supurb and Stevie's voice was strong and clear as a bell. I hope in the future she will stick to these types of venues - no more sheds and amplitheaters, please!
She mentioned that she had spent the last two days in St Pete. I know she loves staying at a certain hotel on the beach - and rumour has it that it is haunted!

This will be awesome. I don't have a tv line, but when I go to friends and family OWN is basically all I watch. It's my favorite channel at the moment, love every show on it.

If they were filming it for OWN, then probably not.

The filming I saw going on was behind her. The guy followed her out on stage, then crouched down behind her so I made sure my lippy-stick was fresh!

Yes, she was VERY chatty and I loved every minute of it! She also said she was very tired, so I'm sure that is another reason she ran off at the mouth :D

Soldier's Angel totally rocked live. I was really impressed and a bit surprised. All the new stuff sounded great, the best being Moonlight, Annabel Lee, and Soldier's Angel. I teared up during Landslide with all the footage playing behind her, and then the last couple of shots of her mom both old and young were really moving. I had a fantastic time! The smallish venue worked so incredibly well for her- she should always play in small theaters! The sound and acoustics were great and Sharon and Lori sounded amazing as well. So far, this is the best Stevie show I've ever seen/heard.

Okay, you must've been sitting near me cuz a bunch of us were wipin' our eyes during Landslide.

I found her performance to be magical. Everything about it was jaw-dropping. I loved it when she said, "I'm tired. Yes, every three or four hundred years it happens," LOLOLOL.

I thought Sharon looked painfully thin. There were times I couldn't even see her legs behind the mic stand. Lori was full of energy and was really getting into how the audience was sooooooooooooooo lovin' every second they had of Stevie! :blob2:

When Stevie thanked the audience for standing behind her by coming out to see her (because it validated that she should continue to rock it out in the future and she won't have to stop) . . . I was ever so PROUD to be a Stevie fan.
