I have always liked Joni Mitchell, but I never explored alot of her albums. Well now I have. Lately, she is all I can listen too. I think that she is every bit as good as Bob Dylan and far surpasses Springsteen, Neil Young, etc... Her lyrics are intelligent and tell stories we can understand. She is probably in the top 3 writers of all time. I had no idea what was in her collection until now.

I don't know how many fans of hers all on here, but I got to say I'm obsessed with her music—beautiful and intelligent.

Listen to the perfection of the song she wrote. It's great.

Back in the late 1970's/early 80's I used to listen to the album Court and Spark quite a bit.

See I listened to Court and Spark too, but I just discovered her earlier albums are more powerful. I never knew she wrote all these songs. I mean she EXCELLENT. She is on par with Bob Dylan. Her lyrics are great and her voice is elastic. If I Had A King, had me hooked.

I'm a big fan of Joni. Some of her lyrics are just superb. I have pretty much all of her albums and some favourite albums include Blue, Court and Spark, Turbulent Indigo, For The Roses, Clouds and Chalk Mark In A Rain Storm (controversial!)
