WDRC BIG D 102.9FM Dedicates Saturday to Stevie Nicks

Listening to the radio and my partner calls me from work saying they are dedicating today to Stevie Nicks so thru out the day they will play her solo songs and FM songs every few songs you will hear Stevie cool though I pass the word here is a link you can listen to on line. She had a sold out show at Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday July 12th here in Connecticut. Every saturday they dedicate it to a certain artist or group. Today is Stevie Nicks day on Big D 102.9FM WDRC in Hartford. It's an oldies station in hartford that plays stuff from the 50's thru the 80's

Thanks for the heads up.I listen to the Big D regularly but not lately.Last year they did a Rod and Stevie weekend when they stop at the Mohegan Sun .

they just played Gypsy doing some stuff around the house and have the radio cranked up of course but 6-7pm tonight full hour of straight Stevie Music.

I got to do some thinks and pack and get ready to go to AC later in the meantime I'm going to let my computer record the rest of today and tonight.I will edit it later like I did with last years Rod/Stevie weekend.

I,m glad that the radio station is recognizing Stevie's solo tunes It took them a long time to play her solo tunes after they move into playing 80's tunes.

I hope they will never play the 90's tunes.After I'm gone or move out they can.LOL..

I love their format.Now I need a local station that plays classic country from the same era.

Yes I recorded it.Now I'm getting ready to leave to traval to AC for the Borgata show.

Thanks.I will be leaving now.Atlease it will be cooler now to travel.I'm doing my car a favor plus me with getting overheated with the heavy traffic.Ok I will update later when i get back.
