Leaving for NYC shortly....haven't seen Stevie in this size venue in many years. Other than AC, I can't recall the last time I saw her solo indoors in the NY/NJ/PA area. I'm sure someone will come up with the answer.:)

Stevie Nicks is performing at the Beacon Theatre tonight, and we’re wondering which iteration of her career Ms. Nicks is currently occupying—we lost track around the second or third reunion of Fleetwood Mac! Presumably she’s as dark and witchy as ever, and we look forward to Ms. Nicks gracing us with her mall-Goth look and sophisticated lyrics. The 64-year-old singer is nowhere near retirement, and is in fact promoting her first new album in a decade—one that features a song “adapted from Edgar Allan Poe.” Some folks never will change!

Some morning after thoughts....Rock'N'Roll is not a great opener-needs to be speeded up.

Her "dressing room" was on-stage...don't recall seeing that before.

She played the tambourine during the entirety of "Enchanted".

Aside to the attention whore in the front row of the loge...it is necessary to stand up and block everyone's view whilst you do your imitation of Elaine Benes dancing?

During the Edge walk, I saw more than one person try to pull her forward while shaking hands-the security person had to pull her back and that was unsettling.

I was in the tenth row on Waddy's side and I noted twice that Stevie held out her hand to say "stop" during the edge. I saw one guy rub up and down her arm.. What is up with that?

Terrific sounding show! What I liked about Rock and Roll was the montage of photos of all the rock and roll greats (photos by Neil Preston). It was like a homage to the rockers - Jimi, the Beatles, Stones, Elton, etc. Etc and she ended the song with Janis on the screen! I loved the effect.

I just got home from NYC and have to catch a flight to Missouri.. I'm tired but well worththe trip. Stevie is so energized doing the iyd tunes.. She was on it.

I did buy the blue hoodie, and after I purchased it, noted the "in your dreams" words on the back in big bold letters.. Ugh, oh well...love the front with the heart..

Enjoy Hershey tonight! Stevie is into this tour! Oh.. And I love.. Love. Love.. The Beacon! except security was rabid about video taping. If anyone captured any videos of this show, I applaud you. The guy up front was a wicked beast...

Hey there Keith...its great to hear from you. I am glad you got to see this tour. I am seeing her in Lauderdale but with Rod Stewart so not as excited about it. Have a great time in the Show Me State. Made me a little home sick hearing that. LOL

It's really unsettling that people tried to pull Stevie forward or crossed some lines (Rubbing up her arm is a little bit much) during the Edge walk.

I wish people would respect her and just be grateful that she does this at all - Stevie's always said she is not afraid because she doesn't think anyone would want to hurt her. I worry that if everyone starts breaking down the courtesy boundary and getting too crazy that she'll not want to do it anymore. It's a privilege in the first place.. treat it like one.

I was in the front row on the extreme right during the Edge walk, and I can attest to the incident as well. Although I didn't actually see it happen because it involved someone in the 2nd or 3rd row, people around me told me after the fact that someone tried to forcefully push his way past others in an effort to get to Stevie. I saw Stevie look a bit perplexed and teeter forward a little while her assistant pulled her back. Then she started to chide the person causing the ruckus, and told him or her to "STOP" quite directly. Of course, by the time she got to me, the incident was still fresh, and so she was quite distracted and I couldn't even say anything to her. I really wanted to just tell her that I admire her courage coming out on tour so soon after a personal tragedy and that I wished her and her family the best. Sigh, oh well...

Although that incident was jarring enough, it seemed Stevie was in good spirits about it at the very end after "Love Is." She did her little bows and walked up to the front of the stage, and then gave a side glance over to my end of the stage to whomever caused the incident. She did this cute little mock-chiding point-and-stare, and then shadowboxed with her hands for a second or two. It was adorable lol.

I'm glad you guys had fun at the show. That scary when idiots grab and hurt Stevie like that.Probably alot of would love to take that clown outside and punch him in the nose.If that sheet continues Stevie will say screw the walk next time. Her safety comes first. He should of thrown out and arested.arrested by the NYPD.

Anyway speaking about security.Did they bust balls about cameras. They were laxed at the last two shows. They did not give a crap about picture/video taking.

Also is the setlist is the same with no tunes that she dropped out.

EXACTLY. I'd probably punch anyone that tried that **** with her in front of me. And the arm-rubbing? Totally pervy!

Cute that she mock-punched at the very end. At least she took it in stride.

You must have been right near me! Wonder if we met? I was the brown haired girl in a strapless navy dress. Apologies if I know you--I'm terrible at keeping track of Ledge names.

I was, incidentally, right in the thick of it. The guy had been extremely loud all through the show, and wound up right next to me for the edge walk. As Stevie was taking my hand, he grabbed her fairly aggressively. She flinched, but kept moving. He kept frantically grabbing for her, and in the process, hit me in the face with his left arm, which Stevie saw. She looked very concerned, told him to get back, and looked back at me and my friend to ask if we were okay. She did lose focus on the next few people, and I'm so sorry it shook out that way.

Later (right before bows, I think?) she came back over, pointed at me, and did a cute little dance, mock boxing. It was insanely cool, and made getting hit completely worth it.

Hiya mezzo! I don't think we met. I don't really post much on here and don't know Ledgie names. I was the really tall guy in a short-sleeved black button-down shirt. I was in the front row at the very corner next to the speaker.

Yeah, it was totally pervy. I'm not sure there was a sexual component to it based on what the people around me were saying, but it was still really weird. People are strange.

That was my first Edge walk though, and I have to say it IS funny when you are in the front row and Stevie reaches over you to shake the hands of the people in back of you. I'm pretty tall and I had to crouch to avoid her bosom coming at my head!

Did anybody stay for the after-show? People with special passes were collecting on the left side of the theater after the crowd milled out, but I have no idea what for or why. They were nearly all women, which makes me think it was some sort of event for a woman's organization.

I don't understand people sometimes.... I'm so sorry that happened to you! It seems that Stevie was sorry too - what a great little moment the two of you had.

Those were Stevie's guests, or people who had backstage passes from the band. Happens after every show.

There were only a few that were Stevie's guests. Some were waiting for Waddy and other band members. We sat in the same row as Sandra Bernhardt and all in the 6th row center went backstage but we were not in the same group.

There weren't many people backstage at all.

Hey John. I'm with my family in the Ozarks - one of the best things about Missouri. I hope all is well.

I know seeing Stevie with Rod is not quite the same as Ms. Nicks solo.. I saw the NYC show last year and Stevie was still very good. However, the audience was probably 3:1 in favor of Rod, Stevie's setlist is about an hour or so, and it should be interesting to see how her setlist will play out. She will do the Mac 4 (Dreams, Landslide, GDW, and iannon) and her solo gems (Stand Back, Edge) - which leaves about 3 or 4 other songs. I hope she plays Moonlight, Ghosts are Gone, Annabel Lee, and For What Its Worth. She could probably squeeze in a couple of more tracks if she gets rid of the long extended openings to Rhiannon and Edge. Enjoy.. I'll be seeing the Stevie/Rod show in DC later this month..

And a few more thoughts about the Beacon... which I'm still enjoying the afterglow..

The Beacon Theater is a gorgeous venue.. too beautiful. I also enjoyed the Upper West Side area.. I usually hang out midtown or in the villages when I visit NYC, but will have to visit the Upper West Side when I return to the city. I had wonderful scallops at the Citrus bar and grille located at 75th and Amsterdam.. I was sitting outside eating when I saw Stevie's limo go by (i think).

People were right about Stevie being chatty... she had me laughing a few times with some of her comments.. she mentioned how when she met Sharon back in 1978 and Sharon delivered a piano to her door a few days after (if I remember correctly.. interesting)

The band was so tight and rocking. Stevie's voice was amazing, and Love Is was simply magic.. I have seen her do this song a few times but this was by far the best emotional version of this song.. she totally poured her heart into this version.

I hope a "boot" pops up of this show.. The theater had terrfic acoustics and I'm sure it made for a great sounding capture.. really a terrific show.

I also thought it was cool how Stevie kept saying how much she appreciated us coming out to see her and when she said "please come back and see me.." she needs us.

Thanks Stevie for continuing to tour.. as we are all getting older..
