I am so proud to have been at last nights show! Stevie was candid, funny, mysterious, silly and performed every song with great passion!
Few quotes:
"This will not be a Stevie Nicks greatest hits set, and probably never will be again!"
"I know you have the Lady From The Mountain demo. I know you do... and that's okay."
To Sharon: "You could have been my sister in law, but you passed it up!"
To Carlos: "You cannot be my sister in law, that would be awkward!"
I want to go again and I will be looking into it, lol  Here are some pics from last night including one of a shirt that I have not seen online that I think rocks!

By the way, security was aware of the "Edge walk" and were instructed to let people to the stage at the beginning of Edge. Not sure how many rows because we were already up front. :)

Thanks for sharing. Her banter sounds funny. I so wish I could see her solo just one time, but it will likely never happen, so this is as close as I get. God, I'm legit crying now. :p

Ok....the shirt is really cool and not cheesy. I normally buy all the shirts, and then put them away and not wear them. This one I would wear out.....really like it.:blob2:

I was there last night too, and she really was phenomenal! Stevie also mentioned that we all have the demo for "Secret Love" too. "I know you've had it for years."
I also loved that she said that she wanted to show her humor/personality more around the end of the show, and that she enjoyed doing so with us. I thought that was cool! She's finally at a place in her life where she can truly come out of her shell and be free.

Sharon is one smart cookie passing up that golden opportunity.
I wish she would say there would never be another FM greatest hits show again.

thanks for posting that shirt, that's the one I'll get. I usually always get the shirt with the dates on the back, but I don't like the album cover so I won't be wearing on a shirt!

Great show last night. Stevie was really having a blast. Her vocals were incredible. As someone mentioned in the Jones Beach thread, the wails were really long and strong. The comment to Sharon, during the band intros was too funny, Stevie was laughing herself. The band sounded fantastic as usual. She was very pleased with the audience for the love we showed to all of her songs. Another great concert. Thank you Stevie.
PS. Thanks for posting your pictures.

Totally agree with you!
And IMO, last night she was just in such a better place mentally and it showed all night. She was just so into her performance and her anecdotes -- i do think she would stand there and talk for 2 hours!
I'm sure for Jones she had nerves up the wazoo, not to mention her mom on her mind and then when she broke down at the end, I'm realizing it was the cathartic release she needed after half a year of carrying that grief around. At that moment, she realized that she was right where she belonged and then she knew it would all be ok from then on out. Because last night, she didn't have to go there again, she could just enjoy the revelry.
Other moments of note for me was when she got the biggest applause after GDW. I was in awe watching her be in awe. Same thing for Landslide. I think she is more amazed at us being amazed with her. She's so humble about it too...I'm sure she knows, but really, it was deserved.
Oh and Snicksed you must have been standing right next to me the whole night given the angles of your photos!
I had a blast last night...much better seat then i had for Jones, so this show will stay with me a long, long time.

Really? That's the exact same thing she said during the one of the Bella Donna shows. I don't remember which song (perhaps Leather and Lace?) it was whatever she sang right before SDMHA.

Last night was incredible! Stevie was absolutely radiant. Jones was an amazing performance as well, but she seemed a little stiff, physically. None of that last night! She danced, she chatted, she glowed. She gave a beautiful thank you to the audience that someone on tumblr was kind enough to transcribe:
I know I talk a lot up here and I laugh a lot because I am just trying to keep myself laughing because, you know, laughter is good. And uh, I just don’t write songs—I am also a person and I’m funny sometimes—and when that comes out, I feel it more and more that I love to actually be myself and let my personality come out and really be with you as if you were—because you are like my friends sitting in my living room and I’m playing you my [songs]. And that’s when I feel the most glorious is when I’m sharing my music, you know. I didn’t get married, I didn’t have kids, I did that so I could do this. And I just want you to know how much I love it and I love you for loving me and I love you for being here year after year. You’re all awesome people and you have so much to give and I just love and appreciate that. Thank you so much everybody. Have a great night, drive carefully, I love you, take care, buh-bye.
I'm trying to think of other moments. She talked about how much she loves to sing "Annabel Lee," and recommends that if we know it, we should sing it in our rooms at full volume. She was adorable when she told us she said of "Secret Love," "That song has come a long way since 1975!" And stage whispered, "I know you had the demo!"
On this tour, she seems to be solely addressing her hardcore fans most of the time. Lots of, "I know you've heard this speech 5,000 times!" and "Well, you've all heard this story before!"
HUGE thanks to Amy. The people next to her in the front row were leaving halfway through, and she asked them to give their tickets to me, Danielle, and Ed. There is nothing like front row, and I am forever grateful!

Another great moment was when she played her tambourine straight through the whole song, I don't remember which song it was though. After the song ended, she made a comment about how she hasn't done that in a while, and that Mick used to tell her that if she was going to play the tambourine, that she had to play it all the way through, and not stop. I love me some Stevie rocking the tambo.

Mezzoforte, thanks for sharing that quote you found of Stevie addressing her fans in such a loving way. It made me smile as I always do when I hear her say these types of things. Sigh...
She clearly knows how much we all adore her.

I've seen every solo tour from  on, and this was one of my favorites. Most of my favorite moments were already mentioned, so no need to go into them again (chiffon, demos, laughter, the tambo, speeches to LT fans...) just wanted to add my own voice to the thread. And to say that "Love is" was STUNNING at this show. Her voice! Oh my...she was on fire... I was still wishing for Italian Summer, but seriously, this show was AWESOME!

I hope its not too late for this thread, but I wasn't able to post before now.
This show was even better than last year. I agree with most of the comments printed here and in the Jones Beach thread. I agree "Rock and Roll" could be dropped. If a rocker is needed to open, then "Fall From Grace" would be great, or anything else that is hers. I guess "I Need to Know" would be great too since even Petty acknowledges Stevie has made it her own.
I couldn't believe we scored the exact same seats as last year, second row dead center aisle. This time I went to the stage and stayed there for the whole show. Security was cool as long as nobody was actually blocking the aisles, so that added to the good mood. I took tons of great pictures, and I wanted to post a couple here, but the file size is larger than to 100kb in the forum rules. If anyone knows a way to shrink the size, tell me and I'll try again. I have no clue with this stuff as I am slightly less of a technophobe than Stevie is.
The "no more Stevie Nicks greatest hits tour" comment kinda bothered me though. Is this Nicksspeak for "I will become more prolific and release new material on a more regular basis", or "You're never going to see me again"? We can't wait a decade again, and IMO a greatest hits tour is better than no tour at all. I have loved Stevie for 35 years. She has gotten me through some horrible times with her music and appearances. Ever since she turned 40, I have worried that each album/tour might be the last. In our hearts we all know this can't go on forever, and I hope I'm not here to see the end. I have seen her as a solo act more than 20 times (and 10 with Mac), and have made it to the stage at least 17 times. I live for the crawl. The Barnes and Noble signing a few years ago is one of my greatest memories. I hope that can be done again. I am the guy in "Rhiannon" who will cry out for her "don't go..stay". and I am the beast who will die of grieving whe she leaves.
The point is that as long as she is willing to do this we should be there. I for one don't care if its new stuff, old stuff, or if she just got up there and sang the alphabet for two hours.

I hope it not to late for a review.LOL..I had a great time at the PNC.Stevie was on fire which she was hotter then the day was.I had great seats on Waddy'side right next to the stage and the speakers.
Now I'm starting to agree on comments about R&R is not a good show opener. It's not one of my favorite covers.I would love to hear her sing "The Rose" live instead of R&R.She alway do a awesome job with R&R and other covers.Again I'm glad that Stevie still has L&L with help from Steve Real in the setlist.
I agree with Stevie .You can't get rid of Landslide in the setlist.I shed some tears like all the time with that song and watching the slideshow behind her with mom and dad and family and friends photos.
She was very chatty which I don't care. She can talk forever .I don't care about the morons next to me fussing about she chats to long.
My neighbors next to me were nice at this show.I tried help them with the Edge walk. They all enjoy the show.
This time around I bought two tee's and a magnet..I forgot to my visa from my car at Jones Beach.I'm glad she had the shirts updated then hauling old stock from past tours.I still missed the tourbooks. All the photo taking at the show makes up for it.
I got a chance to hear alittle more of Marc singing .I like his music.
I want to say it was nice to meet up with you Ledgies at the shows. Thanks for chatting with me.Hi guys.:wavey:

I was there too. Wanted to post but couldn't until just now, either. She was fabulous! I've seen some crazy cool concerts, but Stevie's was absolutely the best I have ever seen. The best part for me was during Landslide. I had started bawling because it genuinely moved me and for a minute or two, I felt really silly. Then I saw my mom and her bestfriend who were with me were both crying too. And this samesex couple next to us who were very nice and took our pictures earlier, were crying too. As was a guy and his mom who were in front of us. It's really incredible that a person can move an audience so much that they start crying like that.
I also got kind of teary-eyed at For What It's Worth, which is kind of weird. But it was just very emotional and cute. Rhiannon was incredible! So powerful and intense. The audience went nuts when she started to do Stand Back. I loved her banter and every when she was kind of rambling, it was adorable. Every time she called out the big fans who had all the demos, my family all looked and me and laughed, knowing that I did.
A funny part was that my seat was kind of far back, and at some point in the show all the pot smoke from the stoners on the lawn had made its way to our seat. We spent the rest of the show in a pot-cloud. Lol. We also tailgated before hand, as did a ton of fans. We blared Stevie and everyone got nice and drunk before coming in. The rear parking lot was pretty much one huge cloud of weed-smoke. Mama Nicks would've approved.
Anyway it was a great show and was a dream come true for me.

^ don't feel silly.... The Atlanta show last year was the first time they ever showed the FWIW music video.... I literally bawled through the song hearing her sing it with all the visuals behind.

I'm with you there. That video for FWIW playing while she sang it... Such an emotional moment. I didn't really love the song when it came out but I liked the video a lot. But seeing the video while she sang it live, with her expressions and the intensity, instantly made it one of my favorites.
