I am somewhat new here and was looking through some old threads. I have heard about the Sara Recor and Beverly tapes, but I have no idea who Beverly is.

I believe she was Stevie's hair stylist for the Wild Heart album cover.

Didn't Stevie help her to open a salon in Arizona? Seems I was just asking if anyone had the newspaper/pics lately.

yeah, there was a video circulating a while back of Stevie in the salon, with the absolute biggest hair of her career! It was during the RAL years but she was surprisingly coherent and of course, very comedic!

I believe it was called "The Wild Heart Salon". I wonder what happened to her? Is she still doing hair?

Beverly Vance was involved in the WH salon which was in Woodland Hills, Ca off the 101 on Winnetaka.

I went there 3 times and never saw Stevie - this was in the 80's - I forgot when it closed down but I know the exact spot it was at.

Beverly died about 4-5 years ago from cancer.

I used to go to that salon, and no... I never saw Stevie. Thought it was kinda cool that it was located above a record store, and if memory serves me right, it was called Boulevard Music. I did not know that about Beverlee though. Man, how sad. :(

That's Stevie with famous celebrity hairdresser - Jose Eber. I don't think he and Beverlee Vance were related in any way (at least not to my knowledge).
