Seriously...where are all of the tickets? You can't even find good seats second-hand if you wanted to shell out a ton of money. This is why I hate Mohegan...all of the good tix always get handed out to the high-rollers...:(

yes, was in the same section a little further up in that section for Alan Jackson a few years ago. I have had front row seats in the past and had fun up there and met Stevie at the barnes and noble signing in March 31,2009 so it was exciting glad I am go to a show and glad she is back performing in CT Solo with out Rod Stewart. I couldn't go to last years show just didn't have the money to do it.Glad got to go to this show been seeing her since 1986 last year was the first show missed of hers performing in CT well second if you include the cancelled show at lake compounce in 1991 on her timespace show was so bummed they cancelled the show the day of the show and that venue was having money problems at that time too. I figure it was front row of that section and it would be a great spot to see her from if good seats on the floor popped up would have grabbed them too. I think ticketmaster and live nation have a thing with Scalping ticket companies they had posted those tickets on scalping sites for the show before it goes on to public sale and they are few hundred dollars a piece its crazy.

Not 100% happy with the selection. This is the second time 2008 and now 2012 that Section 1 2 3 4 5 6 are not available. I really dislike Mohegan Sun. I called the box office and they were so rude. Oh well. Foxwoods would have been a better venue.

I wasted a vacation day from work when Stevie was at Foxwoods.Drove over to Foxwoods to see if I can get better ticket choices. What a joke that was. crap seats in person.I was pissed.Altease I had a nice ride on the shore that day.

At the Mohegan I never got good seats for any show.I'll end up in sec 5,6,7 or 8.
I rather see Stevie here then Foxwoods. The sound was alittle muffled and echoey there. But I wouldn't mind if she plays there again.
Yes MS security are ballbusters too.

I prefer Section 4 5 6 instead of 15! Foxwoods I scored 2nd row so I wont complain.

I got section 19, which aren't that bad I was just in almost the same seats a few weeks ago for another show, great view but not that close. Best seats I ever pulled up for a Stevie show at Mohegan was section 26 (to the left of the stage) in row four, which is almost like having third row facing the stage. Biggest regret was having second to last row on the floor for the Unleashed show and security came up and asked people in the row behind if they would like to stand at the stage, I wasn't in the row that was asked so I didn't go up, but I should have just gone up with everyone else.
I'm going to see Trans Siberan Orchestra next month at Mohegan and pulled fourth row on Ticketmaster, so I think it just depends on the show.

:distress:

Wow.A "Forbidden error 403" message.I never got that yet.Reboot your router -modem .The IP addy will change. What got me pissed was the "NO tickets available"page right off the bat this morning. What killed this was those creditcard presales which they had yesterday.Plus those "NON FAN" highrollers which they don't give a rats a$$ who is Stevie Nicks and probably walk out before the show is over.In the meantime the security are pricks for not letting fans to come down to fill those empty seats.

I'm glasd I don't do concerts no more for any other artists.I can't put up with the crap no more..Once Stevie retires .I'll retire.

One of my best memories was attending The Judd's final farewell show on New Year's Eve 1999/2000 in Phoenix, Arizona. At midnight they dropped millions of beautiful, colorful confetti from the ceiling all over the audience. It was like colorful snow. A magical dream. During the show I kept saying to myself, "I know this song."

I started going to the Brighton Music Hall in Boston , I've seen RUMER , First Aid Kit , and last week Alabama Shakes , and occasionally the House of Blues and The South Shore Music Circus, I am tired of being ripped off by the artist I supported when they were new , and the only reason I have a ticket to see Stevie perform the same show she did last year , is my best friend won them , and being it is one of the first shows on the tour she is less likely to have dropped a few songs because she tired

Wow they soldout the floor.I have to till This place sucks bigtime for good seats.Every Stevie show I end up sitting in sec 7 or 8.The same goes for other show I've been to at this place.I think they give all the high rollers the good seats. But anyway I not condemning the place as it sounds.Its.Mohegan Sun is a great place for shows.I will say keep trying online, somethings is about to pop up soon for you. Also extras might pop up on here too.I'm now looking for a upgrade but probably will be slim to none. But I will keep trying.Good luck looking.

Stevie Nicks battles rock legacy at Mohegan
Published: Friday, July 13, 2012, 1:21 AM Updated: Friday, July 13, 2012, 1:24 AM

UNCASVILLE _ Marking the second summer in a row that she has been touring to promote her latest release “In Your Dreams,” Stevie Nicks performed for more than two hours at the sold out Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday night.

Despite a rock legacy that stretches back to the 70s, it was new music that Nicks wanted to focus on during her 16 song set.

“This isn’t a Stevie Nicks greatest hits tour and there probably never will be another Stevie Nicks greatest hits tour,” she told the audience. “I have to do new music. I can’t keep doing the old stuff or it will make me crazy. I won’t let go of this new album until I have to.”

Even with the courteous attention given to the new material, Nicks played six tracks from the record, it was the hits of yesteryear mixed in between that had the audience rushing the stage.

With veteran guitarist Waddy Wachtel leading the band, Nicks hit the stage with a cover, blasting out Led Zeppelin’s “Rock’ N’ Roll,” setting the tone for the evening. She followed up with “Enchanted,” from her seminal solo release “The Wild Heart.”

Then began a sequence of new and then old as if the different eras of her career were in competition. It was “Secret Love” (new) followed by “Dreams” the song Nick’s said served as Fleetwood Mac’s only Number One hit on the Top 40 charts.

It was “Moonlight (A Vampire’s Dream)” followed by an extended jam on “Gold Dust Woman,” with Nicks offering up her signature stage twirl. “Soldier’s Angel,” which she said was written after a trip to Walter Reed Hospital was well-received but laid to waste by “Stand Back.”

Nicks valiantly battled her music legacy right to the very end with the winners being “Rhianna,” and “Landslide” over “For What It’s Worth,” and “Ghosts are Gone,” by ...well, a landslide. The lone surprise was a duet on “Leather and Lace” with her vocal coach Steve Real who nailed the part made famous by Don Henley.

The band ramped up for the set closer “Edge of Seventeen,” and Nicks returned for a quiet encore, offering up “Love Is,” with piano accompaniment and her two backing vocalists.

Vanessa Carlton opened the show with a half hour solo set (with occasional help from a violin player) that included her hit “A Thousand Miles.”

Again security did not give a crap about photo taking at this show.I did not see anybody getting busted with their camera getting taken.

I'm glad to see she did sold out. The arena was packed. She loves this place. The arena was cool .It was nice to be cool then getting deep fried with the heat and humid weather that we are having now.

I thought the show was great as well. My sister and brother in law went and saw Stevie for the first time solo, the last time they saw her was with Fleetwood Mac in '97. They both liked the show (although my bro in law doesn't like Stevie's mannerisms, the spining and poses). My sister really liked Love Is but overall they said it was a great show.
I have to say that this set list has totally revuvenated Stevie. She's having a blast and it shows. One of the best Stevie shows I've seen.

Sorry I did get to meet with you last night at the show saw some friends haven't seen in a while it was nice and I did drop $10 on the penny slots and hit $125 was happy on that not a big gambler here but usually put like 10 or 20 bucks and give it a shot. Won that after the show it was a nice time very tired didn't get home until 3:30am we left the casino around 1:30am. Stevie was in awe of the crowd there great crowd of people we were ready to rock and she did like she always does. She was commenting to how she loves the mohegan sun casino and how beautiful it is. Yes I agree She loves this place. It looks like she won't go to Foxwoods.

Yes .I had my friends with me at the show like I always take them to the CT shows. They were happy that they came last night. As I was spending time chatting with them and a couple of ledgies I end up blowing off the opener altogether.

I'm glad that GAG is still 1n the setlist.I got alittle shaken when it got pre-empted a few nights ago for time problems.

I thought the show was great as well. My sister and brother in law went and saw Stevie for the first time solo, the last time they saw her was with Fleetwood Mac in '97. They both liked the show (although my bro in law doesn't like Stevie's mannerisms, the spring and poses). My sister really liked Love Is but overall they said it was a great show.
I have to say that this set list has totally revuvenated Stevie. She's having a blast and it shows. One of the best Stevie shows I've seen.

Awesome AL, I can't wait for Milwaukee in a few weeks!!!

.

I have a feeling she doesn't have a say in which place she plays, it's all between the promotor, management and venue. Which ever one comes thru with the most $$$ wins.

Aww, the Mohegan Sun show. This was one of those unforgettable moments in time that will remain with me forever. It was an excellent show from start to finish. I attended with Skip, my sister in law and my best friend. We had excellent seats to the right side of the stage with absolutely perfect views. As was the case with most, we were unable to obtain floor seats as they were reserved for the high rollers. No matter, our seats were great.
From the very first moment Stevie started to sing she sang crystal clear and at the top of her lungs and sounded magnificent. Every song she gave her all vocally. The sound system inside this arena was so perfect we could hear every nuance in her voice.
A major highlight for me was Gold Dust Woman because it has been extended for the live event. Waddy's guitar was very loud but not obtrusively. Al Ortiz's bass rumbled through the building. The drummer pounding away on the beat. Lori and Sharon recreating the mystical, magical backing vocals of times past. Stevie raising her arms and dancing gracefully and doing it in a way that does not give one the impression she's going through the motions, but rather enjoying it in the moment, knowing full well that she and we are experiencing a magic moment. There were many magic moments throughout. Stevie held onto notes longer than normal. The gal rocked. Rocked the house.
She told us how she loves playing here. How she loves the drive up to the casino because it's such a tall, unique building standing tall in the woods. Loves driving up here in the sun and the rain and the snow. And then she said, "no, not the snow, but I just love coming here."
Landslide was slightly different as Waddy opened the song with a couple of different notes that he's never played before and the whole song had a tingly sound that was still the original yet slightly different.
Rhiannon was sung and emitted that feeling of the old days. Musicaly sounding a lot like Fleetwood Mac. During Moonlight I enjoyed watching Stevie's fingers moving as if she were playing the piano at the same time as singing. And I pictured her doing just that, sitting at the piano in a candlelit room singing, "some call her lady from the mountains..."
Even Edge of Seventeen as a song I've seen performed countless times sprang back to life for me because of the way she sang it.
The whole night was wonderful. I absorbed her energy. She made me feel like I was watching her in her 30's again though she sings better now than she did then.
Another highlight of the show for me was watching the reactions from the crowd feeding off of Stevie's energy. I could clearly see Dani and Grace standing on the floor in the 2nd row, left side of the stage(wondering how they scored such great seats???) dancing and singing every lyric back to their goddess. Grace was wearing what looked like a halo of white flowers around her head which made it easy to spot her when Stevie shook her hand on the Edge walk. Grace herself is such an angel and I thought her halo was perfect for her personality.

Another interesting thing that stands out was during band introductions. Of Waddy she said that because of him she can come onstage and not have to worry about anything. She told us Lori was her best friend and confidant. The best moment was after she introduced Brett. He mimicked her wing movement and she said sternly, "quit it Brett." I wonder if he'll be on the next tour?

The people around me were of all age ranges. The boy next to be was about 14 and he was with his mother. A woman behind me and a few rows over was in her mid 60's and she danced during Edge if 17 like she was a teen again. A guy in his late 20's a few rows ahead of me who sang and danced and knew every word to every song.

Oh, I almost forgot!!! During Edge, Stevie shot some looks our way with her eyes. Now how do I describe this look? Hmmm, let me think. I haven't seen this look from her since she was 30 something. It's a look of confidence, of coyness, of self assurance, of flirtation, a look of courage all rolled into one.

All in all, a wonderful night never to be forgotten. I'm so glad I am a lover of the music of Stevie Nicks. I wish you all could have been there.

Not all floor seats are reserved for high rollers at the casino. I usually have no problem pulling up floor seats thru Ticketmaster for shows there. It depends on the show though. I see Trans Siberian Orchestra there every Christmas and am usually within the first ten rows. Stevie, Fleetwood Mac, The Dixie Chicks, Meat Loaf and a couple others I've been on the floor for. It also depends on how many tickets you're getting, if you're going for one or two then it's easier. The more tickets you're looking for the less likely you are to pull up the floor. The other trick is to get in AS SOON AS they go on sale. I usually always have my tickets within three minutes of going on sale. That means sitting at the computer before 10am and hitting refresh constantly until you get in.
Also the whenever tickets were given out by the casino the seats were usually up and off to the side of the stage. Again, everyone I know who's gotten free tickets from the casino, that's where they were put.

Stevie Nicks battles rock legacy at Mohegan, by Donnie Moorhouse
