Roll With Me Henry...a Fleetwood Mac song?

[PenguinHead]

I love this cover of Roll With Me Henry as it appears on the Rock, Rhythm & Blues compilation. Though it's credited as 'Christine McVie and Friends," it's essentially Fleetwood Mac from the Billy & Ricky era minus Stevie, with a few support players.

Drums: Mick Fleetwood
Bass: John McVie
Piano: Christine McVie
Guitar: Billy Burnette
Guitar: Rick Vito

Organ and Synth Sax: Steve Lindsey
Horns: Earl Lon Price and Greg Smith

Background Vocals: Billy Burnette, Rick Vito, Christine McVie, Richard Perry.

Though not official directly in name, I feel this obscure song belongs under the Fleetwood Mac moniker.

I agree with you!

I've always considered that and "Can't Help Falling In Love" to be Fleetwood Mac songs.

I forgot about that one! Absolutely, that one too! They both belong on a future compilation.

I've never even heard of them doing this song. With Christine on lead vocals?

Christine on lead vocals and Billy on "answer" vocals.

Christine plays exactly the same blues lick on "Roll With Me" that she did on the live performances of "Not That Funny" in May, June, and August 1980.
