Here's the info about the episode via Nickslive. The episode title is called "Letting Go"
Stevie Nicks on "Up All Night" March 29th. Bit more on the show...
Up All Night
March 22nd 9:30pm NBC
In next weeks episode, Reagan's worlds collide when Chris starts working on The Ava Show; Ava's father visits with his new family. Guest Starring Henry Winkler and Sharon Osbourne!
March 29th 9:30pm NBC
Changes at home, like Amy starting to walk and a dog, seem to undermine Reagan's plans to book her dream guest, Stevie Nicks.
Christina Applegate tweeted late last night: @1capplegate
"I just filmed the coolest thing I've done I think ever. Can't say what, but in 2 weeks you'll know"
http://www.nickslive.blogspot.com/2012/03/stevie-nicks-on-up-all-night-march-29th.html
The episode description via Wikipedia: Amy's walking for the fist time and Ava's new a dog, effect Reagan and Ava's chances at getting Stevie Nicks to appear on the Ava show. Chris joins a younger hockey league which may be a bit to much for him.

I kinda love and hate the fact that she watches so much television. Damn you, internet! I wanted to hold onto my fantasy of Stevie living in an ivy-covered Norman castle sitting at the grand piano in her candle-lit turret... night after night pouring out her heart in original song. But alas... she's probably too busy watching "Cougartown" whilst curled up in a leopard Snuggie with her dog. Oh Stevie... no wonder it took you ten years to record a solo album!

So I caught another (even SHORTER) promo and took these screen caps. Don't let the crappy quality fool you, Stevie looks phenomenal, but my iPhone doesn't have the ability to portray that.
It looks like Stevie is twirling a faux-fur cape around her which made capturing a good pic of her even harder, but here's your first glimpse!

For someone who always said she couldn't act and never wanted to, she does a pretty great job here. "The babies aren't happy. I think we should put this on hold." Perfection!
I, too, am curious about how frequent she will appear in this episode. I wouldn't think that would be it, because then NBC would have just leaked her entire appearance. Gotta be more...can't wait!

Given this episode's theme about growing older and accepting the changes that come with it, I could have sworn they were going to try to work "Landslide" in there somewhere. But oh what a couple of shockers! Playing "Sleeping Angel" and then singing a bit of "Whenever I Call You Friend" (with Stevie singing Kenny's part). Oh, and I think Stevie should work the Snooki bump into her onstage styling. I loved that!

Well, that was a treat!!
Sleeping Angel played over a sequence.
Whenever I Call You Friend - a cappella with Maya (at least a little bit of it)
Edge of 17 - dream sequence with Christina (should be a new video)
Christina looked beautiful in the dream video and I think she was singing a little.
Stevie was pretty good in the scene in the studio. I loved it when she quieted the babies. And when she walked out with a swoosh.

Touching and careful use of "Sleeping Angel." At first I wondered who might have been the producer who chose that and controlled the editing. Then I realized that Christina IS a producer and is clearly a big Stevie fan and knew exactly what to do. What a dream come true this must have been for her. That closing sequence was fantastic. Like the perfect 80's music video. I would love to see the raw footage. Beautiful! Christina looks like a million bucks. She even has the crescent necklace! Wow! And get a load of Stevie with the blonde Winehouse beehive! She also looks fantastic. I only wish we could have seen the whole song done. Immaculate in the short bit we saw. I loved it.
That dream could not have been better if I choreographed and designed the entire sequence myself. Love love love it.
Major golden bonus points for Christina Applegate.

I don't think Stevie has any serious interest in pursuing an acting career. She played herself in this appearance. That's about the extent of her acting abilities.
I loved the scene where she exited the room, flipping her cape and shutting the lights off and blowing out the candles, as well as the scene displaying her ability to silence crying babies and barking dogs. As fans were already aware that she possessed those kind of supernatural powers.

It sounded like they were singing live on the set...which would make sense why Stevie would need her in ear monitors.

Thought the whole episode was good, but I LOVED the duet at the end (hope most viewers stayed around for!). And I liked that Stevie shook things up with her hair....the long straight look with bangs is getting old!

Ok the hairdoo is pure Elvira... Infact, Stevie looked liked Elvira in every way except the blonde hair. Her dress was pure Elvira.
I loved this show. I loved hearing Sleeping Angel, which by the way sounded great on the tube and watching those two rock out.
My complaint is about the show itself. It sorta sucks.

I love that Christina is wearing Stevie's outfit. Too cool. She confirmed it on her twitter account. This show was beyond the cool. American Idol and now this. It's too much. I'm in Stevie heaven.
I didn't even notice that, I was just watching Stevie. Could someone maybe post a picture of Christina wearing it...Thanks!

Stevie always said she wasn't an actress but she definitely gets an A for effort. I wouldn't be surprised if she was very nervous about doing this. I wish I knew how this came about, if she had the idea or if it was a favor to a friend or just for ****s n giggles. Still, I thought she was absolutely charming.
Next, Stevie does 30 Rock. Could you just imagine?

She probably never wears it like that because I bet it takes a looooong time, it looks like she probably just blow-dries her hair.

There's an interview floating around where Stevie explains it was her idea to contact "Up All Night" and see if they wanted her after they mentioned her in the pilot episode. She also says it was probably the only performance she has ever done where she WASN'T nervous just because she was having so much fun.

I LOOOOVVEED the outfit Christina wore! To me, one of those Stevie stage worn outfits would be ULTIMATE! Loved the era and style. If I'd had more $$$ I woulda had one similar, but ended up with a more affordable lace Tango blouse.
Is the big bun on top a trendy new style or something? My granddaughter had her hair like that one day last week. Unfortunately, I never seem to be up on the styles. I like it, long as it doesn't get crazy like Winehouse (RIP) style -that was a bit much.

Right, we never would have guessed Sleeping Angel. And even though Whenever I Call You Friend is a crummy song, I never thought that I'd hear Stevie singing a snippet of it on a sitcom, so even that was a thrill. Much better than if Ava and Stevie had been singing Landslide together as they walked away.

As if one can't sit still for 30 minutes or she thinks we'll ditch the show after Stevie appears?
Well no, because the show has one of those things where it looks like it has ended. The storyline is resolved and you see the production logo come on and you think "that's all folks," when really it's not.

I didn't mean the song on the tv show. I mean the song as a single. I'll tell you that it sounds like two different songs mashed together. They seem almost incongruent. One is poppy and one part has anthem like qualities. I do NOT like the anthem "whenever I call you friend" part.
However, the chorus is a little infectious for me: Sweet love's showin' us a heavenly light. Never seen such a beautiful sight. See love glowin' on us every night, I know forever we'll be doin' it right.
I think that's corny, but I do like it. I got such pleasure from Stevie on Magnet & Steel, Gold and Whenever I Call You Friend, when they used to come on the radio.
It's very sad, but I don't hear Lindsey on Gold. My poor guy. I have no idea what his voice sounds like, I suppose.

:distress:Y ou think the part where it goes like "now i know my life has given me more than memories" has an anthem quality? Well, i get it. But that's what i like about the song, though i know it is definitely corny. "Uplifting", indeed . I do have a problem with Kenny Loggins' voice in general (sounds so cheesy 70's to me, especially on this song), but that's about it.
As for "Gold", isn't he singing the high part at the end of the song? I was also wondering about it the other day...
I have to say that Stevie's collaborations with other artists in the late 70's were all pretty impressive, the best, to me, being "Midnight Wind".

YES! My favorite part also along with Stevie's "oooh yeaah" before the ending coda, and her harmonizing on "california girls are the greatest in the world"

Actually, I think that's John Stewart playing that lead guitar lick. He's playing deliberately in the Buckingham style, even using the Turner Model 1.

It's kind of funny how his voice is buried on Magnet & Steel too, but I guess he realizes when it's not needed. It's so artfully used on some of Christine's songs.
Now, I'm thinking of Christine's vocals on Sentimental Lady. These guys are beautiful background singers.

i can swear Lindsey is doing the upper "you are a magnet" but can't be too sure. i was also surprised at one point to hear stevie doing the lower "ooohs" with Lindsey (his voice cut off and you can hear Stevie's trailing just a tad) - amazing how their voices blended so well.

Christina Applegate was on Live with Kelly today. Kelly asked her about Stevie being on Up All Night. Christina said the experience was "intense." Christina said that she has a recording studio in her house & that Stevie came over & they recorded for 5 hours. She said the dress that she wore during the fantasy sequence was Stevie's from the Bella Donna era. She said the experience was "surreal." In another post--- in case you may not see it---Christina was wearing a crescent moon "Stevie" necklace during the interview.

Thanks for posting this. I'm not really into Christina's new show though I did watch it when Stevie was on. I loved "Samantha Who?" & was sad when it was cancelled. I think Christina is a pretty good comedic actress, & it's great that she's a Stevie fan.

I always like Christina in" Married with Children".Plus "Samantha Who?" was funny too .
Her current show is boring as we noted earlier in this thread.
I don't mind if they make a "Married with Children " Reunion with all the orginal cast including Christina. The new title will be "Divorce with Grandchildren".Atlease it will be more funny then her current show.

In the last episode, with Megan Mulally, I think they said something about the Eagles. I can't remember what it was, exactly, but I don't think Maya was into them.
That reminds me of the Seinfeld with Desperado and Witchy Woman references. Jealous.

I still think she looked lovely at the end of the show. Wish she would tour with that look and hairdo even though it takes more time each night, it's worth it I think and would be fun for her and for the fans. A different look and one that looks so good on her like that. Loved the hair!

Agreed. I LOVED her hair like that...both because it was such a good look for her and also because it was quite a departure from the way she usually wears it. I'm going to be so disappointed if it turns out to be a one-off.

Yeah but I think if she in past years, could withstand the nightly braiding and crimping during the Street Angel tour before a show, then surely she could pull off easily the hair from Up All Night from the last scene. That was so unexpected and looked great on her. It was sort of modern, yet the hair to me had a hint of Stop Draggin thrown in there in certain quick side shots from the episode and reminded me.
