Can you make an MP3 of Rhiannon to post?

[Macfanforever]

Hahahahaha I feel like Jimmy,Ken over here.I'm having a blast.

[deribish]

these sound so good!!!!! hearing EVERY SINGLE harmony. some ive never noticed before. and hearing the true human feel (and mistakes) in the instruments. SO MUCH better than nowadays when everything is over processed and MIDI'd to death.

I agree.Todays age of computer generated music sound so unreal.I hope more will show up.

I know the center channel mixes where floating around here for some time.

These are better.Thanks omshiva.

This is really a nice find, and thank you for posting!

The keyboard track for Rhiannon sounds like a little lullaby in some parts.

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! I have been wanting to do a mashup of Little Red Corvette and Stand Back for YEARS!!! I have an extended mix of it with a huge instrumental part that will be perfect. Thank you for posting this. Yay!!!!

[UndoingTheLaces]

The keyboard track for Rhiannon sounds like a little lullaby in some parts.

And if you listen carefully you can hear the beginnings of what eventually made it's way into the live version when Christine does the keyboard break. I always thought she came up with a whole new part for the live version but it's really just an extension of what she had already done in the album track.

Here's another observation. Stevie talked about Prince doing the bass keys for Stand Back during Storytellers and when she did she tapped her fingers really fast like he was playing each note. I always thought it was really just a pre-programmed keyboard pattern but if you listen to the isolated track you can totally tell it's someone playing each individual note. That's impressive. And there's a little break at points that I never noticed before where he plays a bunch of different notes really quick. It's amazing to hear all this stuff like this.

Don't rain on my parade, Tom! (giggle, sorry I had to)

Yes, in fact I think I may have posted it myself at some point. LOL. Don't quote me on that, though. But that mashup was taking the two full songs and editing parts together. I've always wanted to layer her vocal into the music of Little Red Corvette. I don't know how well it will really work but we'll see.

I have joined the acapellas4all site just to get the Edge of Seventeen stems and have managed to download them, but the file is password protected. I have been trying to get the password following the site's meticulous (and very unfriendly I must say) instructions, but nothing is happening, so I don't know if the owner is still running it or not. Very frustrating to have a password-encoded rar on my computer that I cannot open!

Can anyone help?

[gameragamera]

I have the SAME problem - I have like 7 RAR files I was able to download from Filepost that I need the PW for and I can't find the PW anywhere on the Net.

It seems to wrong to force others to pay for fileslike these that the seller basically got for free..

here are lots on newer links but what is the point with the PW?!

http://filepost.com/folder/9dd789m7/

Please let me know if u get the PW and I will do the same.... in the meantime I will search tonite as i THINK I have the edge of 17 already, And I could repost it for you.

[whitesoxx]

hey gameragamera- glad to see I'm not the only Ledgie with the same problem :-) I, too, paid to join the site, then requested a re-upload which finally came, only to find out I had to join Filepost to download it. And now I can't get the password because the site admin has either disappeared or does not seem me worthy to get the password as I am not a remixer...

Will keep you updated!

Do you seek any other Multitracks? I have many I could share - lemme know what u want.

The multitrack stems of some of our favorite songs
Rhiannon
http://www.mediafire.com/?qqkrcsmpj8laiuu

Somebody took these stems and created a brilliant Rhiannon. I had it for many years on an MP3 player that is now broken. I am desperate to have it again. I slap myself daily for never having saved it to my files. Someone created a Rhiannon using the Bass stem and mixed it with a vocal. It starts out with, "Some night's you wake up and Rhiannon's right there." Then the bass begins and the whole song is the bass and vocal. Anybody out there still have it and is willing to share?
