So I've finally decided to take the plunge and sell off my collection. I want to sell the stuff by lots. My question is; would it be best to sell the lots by tour or by type. For instance, one lot could be the TISL promo poster, the dragon tattoo, tour book and tour tshirt. Or, should I sell all the tour tshirts in one lot, all the tour books in another lot, etc. I spent the evening taking pictures and I did them by tour. Then I went out on Ebay to check prices and see all the lots are by type; CD, tape, books, etc. Guess I thought it would be cool to have them grouped by tour, but maybe not. ?? Thought I could be sure to get rid of everything that way too if I put the price low enough. Would make it harder to mail, that's for sure. Any tips would be appreciated. I'm brand new to selling. Thank you! :wavey:

I think it's according to how much money you want for these items or if you just want to be rid of them for sure. Items that sell in lots never seem to bring as much as individual pieces do.

That's why I broke them down by tour... thinking I would get more $ (and more chance of bids) than one huge lot of tourbooks, tshirts, etc. Someone who needs a wild heart tshirt may not want to pay the price of the whole lot of tshirts, which I would feel like putting a higher price on than just the wh tshirt, tourbook and album. If I do it that way, I've got 15 lots total that some include posters, which will have to be mailed separately in tubes. Sounds like a lot of work to me, needing a lot of pre-planning for shipping, but wanted to maximize my chances of bids and get rid of as much as possible. I'm such a fan... ;) -thanks for your input!
