Acquired this show recently and wanted to share. It's definitely not the best quality, but it's a special show in Mac history being the first with Billy & Rick. Enjoy!

VERY interesting. It's weird seeing how "Oh Well" was fairly straight-up early in the tour. I wonder when they started getting really crazy with it.

I really like the diversity of the set list during this tour, and how they really balanced the equation:

7 songs from Christine
7 songs from Stevie
6 other songs - 3 Blues era - 2Rumours era - 1 Buckingham Nicks).

Take note: No Landslide and no riots over it's omission. This proves it can be done!

I'll have to check my bootlegs later, but did the set list change as the tour proceeded? Did they eventually add Everywhere to the set?

This tour was the first to include support players, including Stevie's solo background singers. Also the first to include Stand Back and Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You. It set a precedent that continues to this day.

I'm still really not crazy with her solo material mixing with the band material. I believe in the separation of church and state. She had plenty of other Fleetwood Mac songs she could have chosen. Also, Frozen Love or Crying In the Night would have been great with Billy and Rick.

They changed set list very much... they add Everywhere, Stop Messin' Around. And Gypsy and Rhiannon were played only few times. And Donīt Let Me Down Again or Sara were sometimes played too.

Thank you. This tape reminds me when I received tapes from people that were selling concert boot videos in the goldmine mag about 17 years ago.Probably between $15 to $45 dollars.Yes some were blurry.shaky, muddy sound and some were great too.

I agree .great setlist Got the old mix with the new.

Huh? You contradicted yourself right there in the space of one paragraph. From "not crazy with her solo material mixing with band material"; but then it's ok if Buckingham Nicks material IS included...without Buckingham being in the band? THat really doesn't make sense.

Thanks so much for posting these. Time flies so fast. It was a great set list and it makes me miss "crazy"Stevie and miss Christine. :D

To be fair, her Buckingham Nicks material TECHNICALLY isn't solo material.

While Billy did a great job on "Don't Let Me Down Again", I'd rather have had "It Ain't Over" in the set. It was one of HIS songs (novel concept), Christine and Mick were on the original, and it was a perfect fit for the tone of the tour.

Hmmm. I'll have to see if I can give it a listen somewhere...

I'm extremely surprised to hear that they performed the song "It Ain't Over," if only just once...until it was over! How could this not be common knowledge? I hope there is a bootleg of it. Too bad it didn't become a regular part of the set list.

They never did that one.

This tour was pretty good, but I was already starting to really get sick of rock music, and Stevie Nicks was starting to lumber along like a sod-packed wheelbarrow. Still, several musical highlights on this tour:

Don't Let Me Down Again with a rejuvenated rhythm section packing a powerful wallop
A haunting & mournful I Loved Another Woman
Go Your Own Way with a full-bodied chorus (usually missing on earlier tours)
The return of Gold Dust Woman to the Mac set
Christine McVie

I was less crazy about the musical aspects of

The Chain
Don't Stop
World Turning

This tour was the first to include support players.

There was a HUGE keyboard rig, off stage right. Pre-show, I was stretching to look above - what apparently wasn't supposed to seen- and security yelled at me. "WTF dude, I'm just using my eyes!" But he wasn't having any part of me looking at the rig. If memory serves, it was at least nine keyboards(yes, that's been a long time ago - and I was only 3 years old:D).

OMFG. David, my friend, I'm not usually a thief, but I'm stealing that. Thank you for making tears of laughter stream down my face.:blob2:

Thank you so much for setting me straight! Your attention to my egregious indiscretion is very noteworthy.

Sorry for the confusion. I did not contradict myself. My central issue was with Stevie's solo songs, which are signiture solo songs. However, Don't Let Me Down Again is not just a Buckingham Nicks song -- it's also a Fleetwood Mac song. It was an early staple of their live sets, and appears on their LIVE album. That makes perfect sense.

Still need clarification? Consult my lawyer.

I know that. But from the phrasing of the statement it sounded like the song had been considered. Thank you for imploring me to re-read the quote. I re-read really good!
