You can't snap a picture of Any Woman, USA and try and pass it off as Stevie Nicks to the not-so-gullible. Stevie always has some layering snipped in her hair, it is never cut so bluntly straight across in back like that.

If you're referring to that late 90's magazine article and photos I believe, she was in a long dark tan velvet jacket holding a guitar from what I remember right off. I have the magazine packed away somewhere still. I don't think that photo up there is Stevie and Artemis, if we had a like button I would've so clicked on it, what you said.

Don't know where the shot was taken but that's a Dior make-up counter--very nice indeed. $25-30 bucks for mascara; $50-60 bucks for eyemakeup quads/quints. But great makeup. :thumbsup:

I actually love that she goes to the mall. Although she doesn't drive, so I would imagine Karen or someone was with her somewhere in the vicinity of the picture. I recall an interview that mentioned she had just come from a trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond.

The picture of her at the makeup counter, I'm just wondering if she does what some celebrities do and calls ahead to the store and shops special hours before or after a store opens or closes. Because it doesn't look too busy and it's hard to picture Stevie Nicks browsing through bras next to you as you're folding through a stack of tee shirts.

It's not after hours. There are at least two salespeople behind that counter, one of whom is talking to another customer (you can see the person's hand on the far left), plus the dude smiling in the background and the person taking the picture -- she's totally out shopping with the normals.

i've not "dropped" this on here yet, BUT!!, i met Stevie in the Houston Hobby airport. i don't think she's likely to insist a store stay open after hours for her. in fact, she took a teddy bear out of the gift ship in the AP, n left an asst. to pay for it. She was amazing though. i followed her to her gate and her "handlers" told her not to take a pic with me. she said "would you like a picture?" i still treasure her head on my chest!

That was priceless! But she wasn't necessarily wrong. She was thinking financially - paper money (cash) or credit card. It's not unlikely that she hasn't been to a supermarket in decades. The paper/plastic bag choice is one that just isn't in her realm of existence!

I've been looking for it EVERYWHERE. I just assumed I was looking in the wrong places.... and so the search continues.
