When it started to snow earlier, I thought "gosh, I wish everyone in the world got to see how beautiful it is here when it snows" so here I am.

I think we should all post a picture of the weather where we live on particularly nice or interesting days. So, if it's sunny, snowy or there's a really impressive or shocking thunderstorm :)

The snow today in the Spa town of Buxton:

Pretty pictures! I love the snow. It's yet to reach London but is forecast for this evening.

ButterCookie, you live in Buxton? I visited there over the summer. My friends and I were camping around Derbyshire and passed through for the day. Was really lovely.

No, I live about 15/20 minutes away from Buxton in Whaley Bridge. We just went to get some things for our fire :) I went to the Catholic School there, though (and look how I turned out! :shocked: )

We have barely seen any snow here in Ohio. It's kind of depressing in a way. I like snow, but then in the same way I kind of find it annoying. Snow is pretty, but it makes traveling rather difficult at times.

We are having a very mild winter this time around compeared to the winterwonderland we dealt with last winter here in New England .

You guys remind me it's still winter in the world. It's sunny and 83 degrees here today. I slept in late when I should be at the beach. I'll head out soon and do something though. Great thread!

Ohio is very warm this year. It's really strange. We really haven't had a winter. Just a few days with snow.
