Wow. This is sad news. My heart goes out to Stevie and her family. I found the article below and thought you all would like to read it and maybe for some, revisit it. RIP Barbara Nicks, Stevie's newest Angel:angel:

Millions of people know who Stevie Nicks is. The surprising thing is how many people know who her mother is. "Stevie always says that Mom has her own fan club," says Barbara Nicks, the 70-year-old matriarch of the Nicks clan. "It's the funniest thing for me to see."
For instance, there was Don Henley's benefit concert held at Union Hall in March. Famous faces were milling about: the ex-Eagle, Bruce Hornsby, Roger McGuinn and, of course, Stevie.
The Fleetwood Mac diva is treated like a hometown heroine whenever she makes appearances in her native Phoenix. Imagine her reaction when the crowd got excited to see Mom make her entrance.
"After the show, we walked from the stage to the dressing trailer," Barbara recalls. "All these people are yelling, "Barbara! Barbara! Look over here, Barbara!' Stevie just looked at me and laughed, "Oh, Mother!' "
Laughter is not uncommon between the two, Barbara says.
"We're really very close. We always have been. She's really a very special little girl. I mean, here I am calling her a little girl, but she always will be my little girl in a way."
The little girl is actually 49 years old, an accomplished singer and songwriter who would be recognized almost anywhere. She's one of rock's most unique voices, both literally and figuratively. Her songs are touched by fairy tale and fantasy, and she sings them in a unmistakable cry touched with gruffness.
The passion for the exotic is something Stevie acquired from Barbara.
"I love fairy tales," she says. "I would read Stevie the stories over and over, and she would just sit there enraptured." The reunited Fleetwood Mac, fronted by vocalist Stevie Nicks and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, visits the Valley Wednesday.
She attributes Stevie's inimitable vocal style to an adolescence spent listening to Janis Joplin records over and over.
"It was always Janis Joplin," she says. "She and Lindsey Buckingham opened for Janis in San Francisco, and she was just so excited. She gave me one of Janis' jackets, and I have it in a closet here."
That's one thing Barbara Nicks takes pride in. In a way, she has become the caretaker of a virtual Stevie museum. The house she shares with Stevie's father, businessman Jess Nicks, is filled with mementos of her daughter's spectacular career.
There is a Grammy that Stevie earned, and gold and platinum awards, not only from the Recording Industry Association of America but from various countries on the map.
"I take it very seriously. The way she moves around, and with all the people that go in and out of her house, things have a tendency to disappear. She knows that when they're here, they're safe, so I have tons of stuff."
There are even stage clothes that her daughter is known for wearing. The baroque style of dress, with flowing capes and gypsy shawls, was widely imitated by long-haired Stevie wannabes in the '70s and '80s.
"She has a special designer that creates these outfits for her," Barbara says. "She has given me a number of things and has had clothes made for me.
"I wear them once in a while, but we don't go out that much anymore. And really, the older people I socialize with wouldn't get too excited about seeing me in a long black shawl that's dragging across the floor."
There's something about being keeper of the Nicks' flame that appeals to Barbara in more than just a motherly fashion. The native of Bisbee is a lifelong collector who used to haunt estate sales in her younger days, looking for dolls and antique furniture.
"I'm more than a collector. I keep saying I'm a junkie for collectibles, and Stevie will say, very firmly, "Mother, please don't call yourself a junkie.' "
After Stevie presented her mom with the song Silver Spring, Barbara opened a shop devoted to collectibles in the '70s, Silver Springs Emporium. She later moved the store to Payson, renamed it Old Hopi House, and it's still in business, a 2,000-square-foot building filled with dolls, antiques and mementos that Stevie has donated.
The Nicks family is very close. Stevie's younger brother, Chris, works for her, designing merchandise that bears his sister's face and name. When Jess owned Compton Terrace, it was the only venue Stevie or Fleetwood Mac would appear at while in the Valley.
When the children were young, the family was constantly on the road due to Jess' business commitments. Stevie never attended school in Phoenix, instead going to school in Southern California.
The regular upheavals drew the family closer together, Barbara says.
"We've always been close, and I think that had something to do with it. Stevie would have killed for her baby brother. She was so protective."
And Mom, who has a Yorkshire terrier named Rhiannon, is protective of her only daughter. She cringes when she recalls the first time she saw the cover of Buckingham Nicks, the 1973 duo album that effectively served as Buckingham's and Nicks' audition for Fleetwood Mac. The infamous cover photo featured the two in a provocative state of undress.
"It was a big shock, let me tell you. She immediately showed it to me, and I just told her, "We're going to have to think about this before we show it to Dad.' Stevie didn't want him to see it at all. But she was young then, and it's something she was talked into."
Through the years, Barbara has maintained friendly relations with Buckingham, a onetime Nicks flame, as well as other members of Fleetwood Mac. She'll not only catch the band's concert at Desert Sky on Wednesday, she plans to hit shows in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
"I just love the music, and I love seeing everyone again. They're all so nice to me."
Stevie's music is a constant presence in the house. Mom has her favorite songs: Landslide, Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You and Leather and Lace all spring to mind. She's passionate about Angels, a wistful ballad about the end of life. The song is unreleased, but Stevie gave her mother a demo recording.
"She wrote it about two years ago. I've only played it for a few people. I told Stevie that it would be great for Touched by an Angel, which I love, but I don't know if she'll send it to them.
"I've made her promise me, just promise me, that when I go, this is the song I want played. It's just beautiful." Then there are the ones that she doesn't play that often. Take Sometimes It's a Bitch, a track from 1991's Timespace: The Best of Stevie Nicks.
"Every once in a while, there's one that doesn't particularly hit me. That's one of them. I wasn't crazy about her using that word, but that's just my age.
"But almost everything else she does is wonderful. There is a story behind all of these songs - that's what she writes about. It's always so honest, that's why the public loves her so much."
And the public responds by flooding Stevie with letters filled with affection. Barbara knows what it is like to be on the receiving end. Letters come in every week, either to her home address or the business in Payson.
"I think a lot of people write letters to her and never hear anything, so they write to me. They're so nice to me and they write such wonderful letters.
"It's like they are so moved by what she's done, and how her music has affected their lives. I've saved stacks of letters. I think when she's like 75 or 85, it will be nice for her to just go through these and see how much she means to people."

Very sad to hear this news....I actually wept. By all accounts Barbara was a wonderful woman. This reminds me of a story. Me and my partner were in Vegas for Stevie's first stint at Ceasers and after the show we were strolling around the casino and Barbara and Jess walked past us so I smiled and she smiled and my partner was like "lets go talk to her" and I'm like, "dont you dare we might scare her" as we both look like bouncers. He's like "but she brought Stevie into the world".... and Im like "and I'm so very thankful for that but I'm not gonna bother her and neither are you so forget it"!
This is probably Stevie's most darkest hour. At 48 I still have both my parents and cannot even fathom life without them. Hopefully she is surrounded by loved ones. I wish I could give her a big hug.

If I'm not mistaken, CAdreaming knows some of Stevie's relatives. I think this is true.
Or if not, it's probably more a misunderstanding than a hoax. Spreading rumors of the demise of Jon Bon Jovi is pretty different from saying that the 84-year-old mother of Stevie Nicks has passed on. Let's be realistic--no one would make that up for sh*ts and giggles.

Friends, I do not know her relatives. Many on facebook can confirm Minette, Stevie's cousin, asked everyone to be praying for her aunt and they were expecting her passing. Glen Parrish posted condolences on Chris Nicks facebook page early this morning, along with Robbie Patton who mentioned he waswith Christine in England and asked about telling her, or waiting to let Chris or Stevie call her. I imagine, if the SS store is not confirming they are trying to keep things private for the family. I doubt close friends and employees would be posting condolences for a hoax.
My original post was made only to inform the fans who I know care about her so much and not meant to cause disrespect or instigate any undue rumors.
Please remember they are greiving and keep curiosity at bay right now. I'm sure there will be official word later.

Ah, my mistake. Thanks for sharing your information.

I've been here for a long time, and have learned to take things with a grain of salt unless there is some sort of source. Until I have a source, I'll take it with a grain of salt. Even Glenn Parrish and Robbie Patton posting condolences on Chris Nicks' wall isn't quite enough for me. They could be ill informed as well?? Still, nothing personal, but for a split second, we thought Jon Bon Jovi passed last week.

I'm not being funny. And I don't care if I'm about to be suspended for this. But somebody important has died. So can you just take all petty squabbles out of this thread, please. I'm sure I speak for other fans when I say that a "condolence" thread isn't the place to discuss vacuous rumours and "my fandom beats your fandom" comments.
I know I'm not a "Senior Fan". But that's my opinion.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand, which is a lady's passing. A "fanmail" address was given on Facebook for people to send condolence cards, which I think is a good idea.

I have to agree..Until it is confirmed from a truly credible source and not just some condolences posted on a site by friends who may not have even had recent contact with the Nicks familyI see no reason why someone should have to accept it as fact.At this point it is just a rumor.

That would be a horrible rumour.
Let's look at it like this, Glen Parrish just lost a child so I think it's safe to assume that he would do something like that.
If we wanna call it a rumour, then let's just pray to the heavens that it is not true.

I can't comment much because it's "too close to home" regarding my own family,
and so it's too painful to think about much. But of course my sincere condolances
go out to the entire Nicks family and all their friends. I'm sure she'll be greatly
missed. Obviously she was very highly-regarded no matter where you look and she
deserves credit for raising "one helluva special" daughter. Stevie has commented in
interviews about how her mother telling her fairy tales and stories when she was a child was crucial to the development of her imagination as a songwriter and performer.

Hey buddy, I know how much love you have given your Mom and have been there for her since your Dad passed. You did so much for her Chris .... and she knows.... how much care and unconditional love you gave to her.

So sorry to read the news of Barbara Nicks' passing. The stars will shine brighter with her in the heavens. Stevie's lyrics to the exquisitely haunting "Blue Lamp" come to mind.
"And the light that shines through the shining night
Is a lamp that I carried from my mother's home
And the light that burns through the window pane
And the love remains"
RIP Mrs. Nicks. Hugs to all that loved her.

Well, if it is true, then condolences to Stevie and Chris and all the family. No matter how old you are, losing your parents is a traumatic thing. I lost my mom 8 years ago when I was in my 30s and it was the shock of my life. I lost my dad 3 years ago, and even though I was in my 40s by then, it still made me feel adrift and orphaned. And for Stevie, being famous and in some ways vulnerable, having her Mom and her home as a safe place for herself and things that were important to her must have been a great comfort.

Touched By An Angel
And when she walked in the room
After so many years,
He looked up and saw her
He was standing at the crossroads
She was moving in slow motion
Everything was the same,
Except that everything was different
In that very moment, everyone was silent
And everyone was friendly,
For the first time in years,
Everyone was smiling
Though their pain was apparent
and the floor was wet and slippery
With the tracks of their tears
And then I see someone standing
At the side of the stage
Not standing in the shadows
I see her face
Glowing in the darkness
In her own angel way
"I have come to make you better,
I have come to take you away."
No one slipped and fell
This time, everyone was steady
Someone held my arm so that
I would not fall
For the first time, in a long time
Everyone was ready
No one said a word
And that simply said it all
And then I see someone standing
At the side of the stage
Not standing in the shadows
I see her face
Glowing in the darkness
In her own angel way
"I have come to make you better,
I have come...to take you away."
I’ll make you better
Walking through the room together
In suspended animation...
No one saw us go... no one said goodbye
But in my heart, I leave
Great expectations
That you will find the answers
to your questions
And that life will once more...
be a celebration...
and that you will be touched by an Angel
and that you will be touched by an Angel
and that you will be touched by an Angel
Celebration
Someday
Someday, Someday
Celebration

The ENQUIRER has EXCLUSIVELY learned that Stevie Nicks’ 84-year-old beloved mother, Barbara Nicks, passed away in a Scottsdale, AZ area hospital on December 29, after a battle with pneumonia.
Family insiders revealed that a heartbroken Stevie, 63, sat at Barbara’s bedside for days before she passed.
“Stevie was extremely close to her mother and barely left her side over the past few days—it was almost like a hospice situation as they knew she could pass at any minute,” stated the insider.
“Close friends and family also took around-the-clock shifts to make sure Stevie and Barbara were taken care of.
“They also held frequent vigils for Barbara—they wanted to make sure she passed in the most comfortable and respected way possible.”
The insider added that this is a big loss for many in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area as Barbara was a local celebrity in her own right, and had many friends and fans.
Arrangements are being done under the direction of Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, Scottsdale, AZ.

God, my heart just went out to Stevie when I read this. I've been in that position. I hope she's resting a little now, the poor lass. And all at Christmas time, too. :distress:
One good thing is that it's clear there's a good support network for the family. And she'll be OK. I know she will, cos she has such a strong faith.
Thanks for posting this. I couldn't access it from where I live either.

I know Stevie has asked in the past for donations for St Judes Childrens Hospital instead of birthday cards for her birthday.
I will make a donation in Mrs. Nicks name.

I was in the same situation this year. We had to take my mom off life support and we watched for hours until she passed. All her kids were there. I'm sure Barbara was thankful that Stevie and Chris were there for her.

Very sad indeed to hear this news ( I lost my mother five years ago this December), but let us also remember that Barbara Nicks had a truely wonderful life. She lived 84 mostly healthy years. She had a very long and happy marriage to Jess Nicks. She saw her daughter not only become a major success, but an absolute icon. She even found hersef a celebrity among her daughter's fans which, I have heard, tickled her to no end. On top of all that, I've never heard an unkind word ever spoken or written about her by anyone. I know there is sorrow right now with her passing, butI just wanted to type some positive words about her and the wonderful life she had. We should all be so lucky.

Stevie has mentioned in the past that the women in her family routinely live past the century mark .By most standards 84 is a long life but it could be that it really took her by surprise.I didn't believe it at first knowing what she has said about the longevity of the women in her family. When her father passed a few years back she seemed to accept it well. This could also remind her of her own mortality in ways that the loss of her dad did not.

For some reason, what you said make me think about what Stevie said about Robin. That just as she used to question whether there might be life after Fleetwood Mac, she definitely questioned whether there would be life after Robin. And she found that there was, but it wasn't near as special.
I guess all any of us can do is keep praying for Stevie and her family, and trust that once the pain settles there will be joy again, and love, and purpose.

Yes Stevie sold the Paradise valley home after Jess passed away...If I remember her house was close to her parents home.
As for "Folks being invited to her parents home" I gather Barbara's illness came on quite suddenly. She may have been in decent health on X-mass.

Stevie's song "Nightbird" comes to mind as i think she wrote it for her friend Robin Anderson who has passed away i think in 1981 or 82...i know the first verse.."And the summer became the fall. I was not ready for the winter. It makes no difference at all. Cause i wear boots all summer long..." very metaphoric for a passing..the changing seasons...winter being death..wearing boots meaning she has to go on living..doing what she does...what we all do and have to do when someone close to us passes...and then "And when I call will you walk gently thru my shadow.." asking and hoping they will stay close to us forever...if Stevie reads this..i know your mother is your nightbird and will watch over you, your brother and the rest of your extended family..find peace in this diffficult time...you have many people that love you..my condolences to Stevie, Chris and Barbara's grand daughter Jess..With Sympathy..John

I just went to In Her Own Words to read the quote about Robin in full, and there was also this:
"She just been in my life since I was 14. She was the one person that knew me for the person I really was and not for the famous Stevie, and it was good to have someone who knew the real you besides just your mom and dad."
Sad to think she's lost all three of those people now. (I wonder, what about Chris and Lindsey, though? They knew her before she was "the famous Stevie" too.)

That's interesting. I wonder if it's a case of how she saw the roles in the relationships rather than anything literal? Barbara said in an interview that Stevie was very protective of her brother, and speaking as the youngest of three sisters, I know that my two older sisters never quite think of me as grown up and still try to protect me even though I'm twice as capable as either of them! And I think Stevie saw Robin as someone to lean on, too (didn't she say 'she walked me through life'?) rather than someone she needed to protect.
So I guess what I'm saying is that I agree - these are going to be tough times for Stevie. Bless her.
Like all of us, I’m sad for Stevie that she has lost her beloved Mom and it was awful this happened during a year that was otherwise such a high for her. But I am relieved, that if this had to happen in 2011, that she was not still here in Australia and had to hurry home – not because we would have had concerts cancelled, but just the rush of getting home (even by private jet) to a sick loved-one would have been so stressful. I only hope she had been to Arizona before Barbara got sick - maybe not possible given the timing – last concert here was 10 December.
In the 4 shows I went to on this tour, I remember so vividly her intro to "Landslide" about spending time with parents while they are still around - I imagine poor Stevie had no idea this was going to ring true for her so soon.
I don’t think we will see or hear much of Stevie for a while. Barbara's passing will take some time for her to want to work again. Best wishes to you Stevie in this difficult time and take what time you need out of the spotlight.

I'm sure she got to spend time with her. In one of the articles it did mention that she was at least with her in her final days at her bedside, as people were taking care of her as well as her Mum.
I know how awful it feels when you don't get those last moments. When my Grandmother died a few years ago I had the option of going to see her rather than going to School. But by then her COPD had taken full course and she was on a ventilator and all manner of other ugly machines. I didn't want to see her like that. So I didn't. And when I got home I got the news that she'd passed away. It was gut wrenching. I had to have counselling because I was so distraught with myself for not having that time to talk to her, as we were never what you would call close. We never got that time to at least make our peace. But now that I've grown up some, and thanks to being able to talk to professionals without bias, I realise now that she wouldn't have wanted me to see her in such a weakened state either. But for Stevie, they did have a very close relationship. So they needed those final moments even more to help with the healing process.
I hope Mama's doing as well as could be expected. I know she's not short of people to help her through this.

I completely respect her not making some announcement (I'm sure it's the last thing on her mind) and I bet people would totally try and show up at the wake or memorial service...but I wish Stevie could just have a glimpse of how much love and support her dear fans have for her now. Of course, Barbara and Chris Nicks both show up in the Landslide video that Stevie currently has, but I wonder if she will change that video a bit for her next tour. Maybe she will include some additional footage of her mother from the last few years they had together.
I remember when she was in Australia I think she said her mom gave her a horse to bet on. I'm sure her mom gave her many smiles -- and a fair amount of lectures.

I think you are on the right track. Perhaps individual fans can send in whatever bucks they would have spent on a card or flower arrangements to one of Stevie's charities in Barbara Nicks' honor. Here's a few that we know Stevie has supported:
Arizona Heart Foundation
1910 East Thomas Road
Suite 220
Phoenix, AZ 85016
(you can do this in honor of Barbara Nicks--or all the Nicks')
http://azheartfoundation.org/donate-arizona-heart-foundation
if you want to download a form and mail it in, the Arizona Heart people have one here:
http://azheartfoundation.org/sites/default/files/file/Printable-Donation-Form.pdf
City of Hope--there's one in LA, perhaps one nearer to you:
City of Hope.
1500 East Duarte Road
Duarte, California 91010
https://secure.cityofhope.org/donate/Main/CardsForHope.aspx
Stevie's mentioned supporting the USO:
https://www.uso.org/donate/
(you can do this in honor of Barbara Nicks)
She's got the iPOD thing that she does
There's lots of ways you can show your support of Stevie and honor her mother in this time if that's your interest. Do it for yourself . . . do it "for the world."
It's all tax deductible, too.

A strong affection and deep respect of her and her privacy. Which seems to, for the most part carry over to the press as well.
But I guess there is no telling about the general crazies out there.. these days...

I think you are on the right track. Perhaps individual fans can send in whatever bucks they would have spent on a card or flower arrangements to one of Stevie's charities in Barbara Nicks' honor. Here's a few that we know Stevie has supported:
Arizona Heart Foundation
1910 East Thomas Road
Suite 220
Phoenix, AZ 85016
(you can do this in honor of Barbara Nicks--or all the Nicks')
http://azheartfoundation.org/donate-arizona-heart-foundation
if you want to download a form and mail it in, the Arizona Heart people have one here:
http://azheartfoundation.org/sites/default/files/file/Printable-Donation-Form.pdf
City of Hope--there's one in LA, perhaps one nearer to you:
City of Hope.
1500 East Duarte Road
Duarte, California 91010
https://secure.cityofhope.org/donate/Main/CardsForHope.aspx
Stevie's mentioned supporting the USO:
https://www.uso.org/donate/
(you can do this in honor of Barbara Nicks)
She's got the iPOD thing that she does
There's lots of ways you can show your support of Stevie and honor her mother in this time if that's your interest. Do it for yourself . . . do it "for the world."
It's all tax deductible, too.
Thanks for posting this.

I personally enjoy the fact that it's signed by a "John". It immediately makes me read the "between the lines joke" in his voice. And it just seems so much like something he would say. He's a very witty man for somebody so insular.

Yeah, it's just my little way of trying to say that "I think their silence is thunderous."
In my opinion, often in the past when stuff has gone down, John has at least chosen song lyrics for "Name That Song" which are related to what's going on at the moment. Those lyrics from "The Chain" seem to me to be deliberately chosen to be as far away from this as humanly possible. Maybe there will be something eventually but my take on this is that they've essentially "gone to ground." "Silence can speak volumes."
"No one knows, how I feel; or what I say unless you read between my lines."
I was actually a little surprised at how many people were confused about what I meant; I honestly thought it was clear, especially given how famous the above lyric that inspired the idea is. I wasn't trying to be "facetious" either; just was trying to illustrate and express my feeling that their silence seems very deliberate and "says much all by itself."

Like me, my cousin in New York is a big Stevie fan. He started writing this poem earlier tonight and sent it to me. I asked him if I could share it here, and he said okay (even though he insisted it's a first draft). I think it's beautiful as it is. I told him he should post it himself on the guest book. (Since this is on the Internet, please don't steal it.)
Destination Angels
(for Barbara Nicks)
Guardian Angel hear my prayer
and hold my heart high in the air,
for my mother's gone to eternal sleep
and grief and sorrow cut so deep.
Please call your brethren to your side
and find a star for her to abide,
for she gave me life and love and light
that saved me in my darkest nights.
Destination Angels, wait for me,
my time will come eventually.
Guide my love now in Heaven's grace
and lead her to my father's face.
Destination Angels' appointed task:
to guide us from the first to last.
Some are family, some are friends,
awaiting us until time ends.

Posted on The Nicksfix:
Barbara Nicks, devoted mother of rock legend Stevie Nicks, died peacefully at her home in Paradise Valley, Arizona on December 28th, 2011 after a brief battle with pneumonia. She was surrounded by friends and family including her son Christopher Nicks, daughter Stevie Nicks and granddaughter Jessica Nicks. She was 84 years old. Nicks was married for 63 years to the late Jess Nicks former president of Greyhound/Armour Dial and a rock and roll concert promoter. Barbara was born in Bisbee, Arizona in 1927. After living in various cities across the country, she and Jess settled in Paradise Valley in 1972. She was active in several philanthropic activities including St. Judes Children’s Hospital, The City of Hope, Wounded Warrior Project, Disabled American Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Salvation Army, which helped her family out as a young girl. "My mom had the power within her to heal and guide so many of us...She supported me and all of my dreams. She was the one that made it all possible," commented her daughter Stevie. There was no funeral service but a memorial will be held later in the year. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle where a special fund has been formed in memory of Barbara Nicks. "She supported me and all of my dreams. She was the one that made it all possible," said the music legend.
Barbara Nicks, mother of Stevie Nicks, died in Paradise Valley, Ariz., on Dec. 28 following a battle with pneumonia. She was 84.
The death was announced Thursday by the Fleetwood Mac singer's representative, who said in a statement that Nicks had been surrounded by her famous daughter as well as son Christopher Nicks and granddaughter Jessica Nicks.
"My mom had the power within her to heal and guide so many of us. … She supported me and all of my dreams. She was the one that made it all possible," Steve Nicks said.

God Dragoon, it's as if you know what I'm thinking
I do agree that her fans, as a whole, cause I have met a crazy/weirdo or two, fully respects her & her regular life outside of music. She has made more press this year than she did for Bella Donna  She walks around here in L.A. pretty unnoticed and/or not bothered. I've seen her once or twice :D I have met her three times, yet all three were unplanned & totally random. I don't (yet LOL) have the gall or audacity to go bother her whilst she's out shopping and dining around here....;)

I saw this in the Blue Letter Archives of The Penguin:
Stevie Turns 49, Barbara Nicks Interviewed, Arizona Republic
Penguin
'Oh, Mother!': Fleetwood Mac's Stevie, 49, still Barbara's 'little girl'
By Randy Cordova
The Arizona Republic
Oct. 21, 1997
It's just beautiful."
Then there are the ones that she doesn't play that often.
