Hello Stevie Nicks fans!

As many of you may have heard, a documentary film on the making of Stevie's latest album "In Your Dreams" is currently in the works and in the late stages of editing and post production. We here at Weapons of Mass Entertainment have realized we need another element to add into the movie, and that element is YOU!! We are looking for short video clips to add into the film from Stevie's fans themselves.

On your webcams (or any other desired video recording medium), we would love if you would record yourselves telling Stevie what she and/or this record might mean to you. More than likely, she will see these so feel free to speak as directly as you wish.

Also, if you want to get a little "rambunctious" or crazy within the testimonial, go for it!!
The more sincere or the more energetic, the better.

So have at it! Send us your words and wonderful faces! We want to hear from you and put you in the film!!!

Email your videos to [email protected] and John will forward them to Weapons of Mass Entertainment.

*** PLEASE keep your videos to no more than 2-3 minutes in length.

***Releases: We would like a video release either at the beginning or end of the video, which is YOU on camera saying this, word for word -

"My name is (State you name here) and I grant Weapons of Mass Entertainment the right to use my image and testimonial in the film "Stevie Nicks - In Your Dreams."

Also, In order for us to be able to use the footage you send us, we will need written releases from you. If your clip is chosen, you will be emailed a release so we NEED your contact info! The release will then need to be signed and returned in order for your video to be used in the documentary. Ok... awesome!

I was thinking the same thing too. However, it doesn't look like they got too many people on camera at the Wiltern. Knowing Dave, he is going to probably assemble some kind of montage with nanosecond-long clips culled from many, many different people. I suspect that the most effusive, over-the-top testimonials will make the final cut. Word to the wise: chew the scenery!!

YouCam is a good program that gives you decent video quality and keeps the files small, and that way you can attach the video to your email and send it without any problems.

Thats what I was thinking...I was trying to email my friends dad a video of him i took and it was probably like a minute and a half TOPS long and it wouldnt send or had an issue attaching...

It was quite an honest comment. I thought she was young and her parents footed the bill for all her traveling to concerts. I liked her video. I was just surprised how mature she sounded. I always thought she was young, spoiled brat. I think her video has a good chance of being used.

I'm just wondering if its fanatic enough. I have not seen a video that is both fanatic and talks about Stevie or the album. They said get wild and crazy if you want. Where is it? The other video doesn't have a chance in hell. This video challenge just makes me think that her fanpool has shrunk.

I shouldn't have to defend myself, but I'm not spoiled whatsoever. My dad was kind enough, once, to pay for tickets for me to see Stevie in Vegas, and that's it. That's also as far as I ve traveled to see her (living in San Diego). All other shows and events i paid for myself. I also don't have "parents" - my mom passed in 2008.

I agree. They originally were putting out a documentary on the making of the record, which is FINE by me, cause I've been drooling over & dying to see the footage they have of them in the recording process that whole year. :laugh: Kinda like the Mac's Destiny Rules; love that stuff!! :eek:

They also interviewed a few of us at the Wiltern show, to be in the documentary...hummm...

Now they need more footage? Or perhaps, the project has grown in terms of parts; and God only knows if that's the case, that could have come from Warner Bros. suggestions, her agent, etc.

I finished my video clip for IYD doc last night. I had to do a lot of takes though and saved the footage, kept if myself, but sent the good one in. The takes were pretty funny so I'll save them for a good laugh when I have a bad day or something. In one clip--I got it right---then at the end I messed up. I said "I would like to thank " Steve & Davy" :o UGH!!! LOL!

Hello Stevie Nicks fans!

As many of you may have heard, a documentary film on the making of Stevie's latest album "In Your Dreams" is currently in the works and in the late stages of editing and post production. We here at Weapons of Mass Entertainment have realized we need another element to add into the movie, and that element is YOU!! We are looking for short video clips to add into the film from Stevie's fans themselves.

On your webcams (or any other desired video recording medium), we would love if you would record yourselves telling Stevie what she and/or this record might mean to you. More than likely, she will see these so feel free to speak as directly as you wish.

Also, if you want to get a little "rambunctious" or crazy within the testimonial, go for it!!

Will guys Heres my submission.It took a few days of retakes and edits.Bloopers galore.But I had fun doing it.I wish I had a better camera .My good camcorder is not fully digital transfer ready.I did edit out my personal info tag I put on the end and the begining of the video so it wont get blasted over Youtube.Also the WPPC tag wont be on their copy.

It's not a matter of time as much as how they choose to edit it. We have no idea how the documentary is going to be formatted, nor how the fan submissions are going to be used. It will be interesting to see how it turns out. I hope the entire project is well thought out, and is done in a creative, professional manner.

I will not be happy if the technique Dave employed on the videos is used anywhere in the documentary. I do not want to suffer from a ADD-induced seizure because of an un-ending sequence of second-shot image flashes. Those were so craft-absent, hackneyed, unprofessional, and just f*cking annoying!

Yes .I wont get my hopes up. about getting on her DVD .But I hope Stevie will have a chance to see the raw footage of our clips.Also this will help her get things off her mind after losing her mom and also she will see the love for her from all of us in which will make her feel good.
