Why didn't I save up my tips in the late 70's so that by the 90's I could afford a gold crescent moon??? In my foggy recollection I remember finding one online about 10 years back by someone who offered a 10 K version for less than $100. Who knows what they cost now, and the only place I can find one is at Camias. And I don't know if it's just me, but the dimensions just don't look right to me. Has anyone ever purchased one? If so where, how much, and does it look like the real deal? I need some help on this one. Please post everything you know about this shining gold obsession. Dimensions, artists, designers, vendors, what ever you might know.
I have seriously been thinking about making them myself...
It's getting scary!!!! A little help would mean a lot!

I have scoured the internet looking also. My GF wants one, so any information would be helpful. I did see one on Ebay for $299, but that's out of my price range.

There are plenty of jewelers who would be happy to design one just for you. Show them a pic of what you want, pick out the metal of your desire and vwa la, your moon is done. It's that simple.

I got mine from Kelly at Camias for Christmas/My Birthday in 2006 and just love it. I have obviously never had an original that Stevie wears/gives out to compare it to, but I just love mine and feel like its probably extemely close. The only thing is the price, in 2006 when she made mine, the price of gold was not too bad, today, I have no idea what it would be. Good luck in your quest.

I've looked high and low for one..... the moon OR a triangle, I would settle for either. I haven't been able to find any at all, let alone one that resembles what I'm actually wanting.

I got asSilver one quite some time ago from Camias, and I want to say it was like $20-$30. I LOVE it. The shape, size everything. Spot on to Stevie's??? Not 100%, but pretty darn close!
I had a triangle made at a silversmith in Capitola, Ca. and the cost was mostly that of the silver and not the "artists" time because he didn't have to design anything. Make a pyramid. I know everyone wants gold, but the silver ones are really nice too.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Anybody know when the metals market is going to crash?

Kelly is OK with me posting her info:
That would be great! Here's the link to my website directly for the actual pendant like you ordered:

Thanks for sharing my site details, Eugene!
Gold is really extraordinarily expensive right now... and even sterling has gone up in price compared to a few years ago. I wanted to give an FYI so there's no sticker shock!
A near and dear friend gifted me the gold crescent moon. It was made by Kelly from Camias. This is a bad picture of me but it should give you an idea about the size factor... Yes it is very very shiny. It is (by far) the most expensive piece of...anything I own

I bought myself a smaller silver one off etsy. I can't seem to find the seller right now but she was a cool chic out of Atlanta. Anyways, the silver one is a lot easier to wear, its not shiny. It's my casual necklace (along with the wings necklace I got last year from my Ledgie secret santa- gypsysorcerer a.k.a Krista).
My wishlist now is a wild heart necklace! I'll have to find a new sugar daddy for that I suppose...

Yeah I've always wanted one too. I recall when they were up on ebay but they were expensive than too. Like over $700.00 at starting bid. I think they were called Eacution sales or something. I recall others claimed they weren't Stevies but they sure looked like them to me. Theres alot of stuff I'd love to find. A blue beret hat like she wears for the Blue Lamp photos of course the Blue Lamp etc. Others too. Some shawls etc. The list is endless really. Just wanted to say I agree with you on wanting one of them. Oh a black state worn top hat signed. Stage used tamborine from say BD tour/WH , that lace bid shawl overlay ? Stevie wears during the BD HBO special thats so cool!!. Like I said the list is endless. Some promo jackets. WH/RAL heavily embroidered jacket/TS--had this one but let it go. Jewlery etc. I couldn't afford it all either. I can dream anyway. Heck how about all of Stevie's unreleased songs & different version released on many many many BOX SETS with TONS of RARE UNPHOTOS too. That would be a dream ---I guess I can dream anyway. Happy thoughts to all!!:angel:
