Big Morning Buzz Live November 4 (8:00 a.m. Central).
I've never seen the show, so I have no idea what it's
all about. What's up with that?

This is a fairly new show and the host is just... not too good. Sort of ditzy and lends to some awkwardness. Granted, I've only watched it a couple times but this should be interesting. Hopefully Lindsey goes with a sense of humor ready.

Wouldn't it be funny if they pulled a
real What's Up With That on him?

One of my other favorite bands was on this show recently and the host asked them to name their (collective) eight children in age order. They got through four and took a half second break to figure out the next (three were born within a few months of each other) and she was like "NOPE, you can't do it! Onto the next question!" She also referred to their children as a collective it, which bugged. Buuut, maybe Lindsey will fair better. At the very least, it will be easier for him to name the age order of his children.

That was weird! He made some jokes! He looked uncomfortable in the chair. Usual questions, usual answers.... And he did't perform ....

Nice interview. He does look awkward sitting there. That chick looks so much like Kristen Buckingham to me. LB looked like he approved (I saw you pull her in for another kiss LB; good boy!). ;)

It was a nice interview. I think he always looks awkward w/o his guitar ;) but he seemed to actually sort of enjoy the interview for a change, and mixed his responses up a little bit ( same thought, different groupings ). I also like that she seemed to be geninely awed by him...as she should be

Um, he's not very natural when he's trying to be charming and witty. Just let it happen, Linds.
The skinny jeans look weirder when he's sitting down than when he's standing. Make his feet look really big and long.
These people just read other interviews and ask questions based on what others before them have asked. So tired of hearing about SNL. It was fun when it happened, but for him to have to discuss it for the whole rest of the year. Argh.

I know it is petty and superficial but his hair is pissin me off  Not really but it is distracting. I wish he would either Rogaine the front or shave it all off. Maybe he can start wearing a hat again (Mirage era) or borrow one of John Mcvie's baseball caps. Anyway sorry to bring it up again just not used to the recent follicle changes. Rant over, back to the music; I hope Stars Are Crazy is his next "single"

It's funny because she wasn't showing anything. In fact, she was almost OVERdressed. But her outfit was really tight enough to show every single curve and Lindsey was acting like he wanted to drive them all night long.

His hair reminds me of Art Garfunkel's hair in 1981. Please someone convince Lindsey to color his hair brown. It will help him look more youthful.
This was a good interview. I enjoyed his response to the question of his favorite OMFG moment.

It would, but he'd have to retouch it every 3 weeks and I don't want him spending his time that way. I don't like spending MY time that way, but I'm not about to go all Barbara Bush at this stage in my life.

no no no no no - his problem is NOT hair color, his problem is his weird balding pattern. if you look at just his face on all these recent pics and put something over the top of his head, he looks so much younger. brown hair with this balding pattern would look even older than now. please don't listen to them LB! :wavey:
plus i have to say, he looks sooooo different when you see him REALLY close up - like from about one meter distance as we had a chance at that signing. he looks really, really good!! and really really skinny and tiny. but i don't think he's as short as was my initial impression (guess my wearing 5-inch platform sandals at the time had something to do with towering over the whole band back in sept when i first had a chance to meet them ). he's probably about 5'8" - definitely not tall, but not completely short.
LB is a line in person. He's just a thin guy. But we all know this of course. I mean, he's got a pic next to a Beatle looking thin and the Beatles were like the skinniest guys ever- well, aside from Paul who I think was/is rather average thin. Anyway, I am accepting LB's hair but I really think he is consciously trying to create some kind of new cool look with what he has to work with. I think if he toned it down, perhaps brushed it a little bit down, or cut it a tad on top it would look perfect.
His forehead is huge. It's just a fact and I am cool with it. He has given us decades of flawless hair. It can't last forever. It lasted longer than most anyway, and it's still there. It just needs some...help.

Oh, I definitely think he is going for a look, having it stick up like that right in front. A little ridge at the scalp and the rest of it standing straight.
That's his homage to being edgy and artistic and different. He could tone it down, but to the extent that it represents his personality, then I don't want him to.
I don't have a problem with his hair color. In fact, I kind of mocked John when he dyed his hair, so I'm not looking for Lindsey to hang out at salons getting his hair done a couple of times a month.
It's just the rapid balding. Obviously, he's been losing a little hair for years, but then from 2009 - 2011 he lost a LOT of hair very quickly and it was a surprise and I almost suspect some kind of Salome spirit of having come and done something awful to him while he slept. So, I'd get a hair transplant right up front, if I was him. But he's very handsome still, especially in person. His features carved and precise. This guy is no Art Garfunkel.

Thank you Michele! Art Garfunkel is a plain, unattractive man who wishes he had a shred of the physical beauty LB still possesses- shoot, even in Art's youth!
I love his hair color. I do, I do. He has lost a lot of hair, it's true. I saw that his brother had a very conventional hair style but seemed to still have hair. I just can't see LB being that boring with his hair. He's predictable enough with his wardrobe but his hair has always been a bit edgy. It's his mane after all.

Yes, I agree with this. It is not the color it is the fact that he only has hair on the back of his head. When you get a side view it is especially noticable, almost an even split of hair/no hair. The fact that he has it up so high just calls more attention to it. I would like to see him with a short haircut or a hat. He would have to find a hat that looks good with a leather jacket though

I agree, shorter on top would make the hairline issue less noticeable. I'm no hairdresser, but it looks to me like styling it differently would cover up more of the forehead area. He really looks like he has a lot of hair, but it's all swept back and up away from his face for some reason.

Yes, the hair that he has is still curly and relatively thick (at least the curl gives the illusion of thickness), so if he did one of those comb overs, it wouldn't look as bad as it does on guys with thin, flat hair. He could easily take the hair that's there and brush it forward, to cover more of his head. But I guess he's decided to play it as naturally as possible. And to do things upright, as a nod to his freak side.

What is this obsession with Lindsey needing to look younger? Die his hair brown? Hide his hairline? Seriously? No offense to anyone personally, but I find it really disgusting. The guy is in his sixties, looks FANTASTIC for that, or any adult age, and couldn't be a more youthful person in his personality and behavior, but we must also have him look young? Why? Because we are obsessed with youth?
Throughout his public life he has done crazy things with his hair, and just because it is now grey and farther back, why must he abandon his youthful playfulness with his appearance in order to actually appear to be younger? Why should he do everything he can to look younger, and why would he even want to? It isn't as if he wasted his youth, or is some grumpy old man with a pot belly and bad posture, with boring art. He is Lindsey Buckingham! He'll have crazy hair because he wants to and can, and isn't that part of why we all love him?
He is 62! I think it is great that he still actually has a desire to play around with his looks, which is reflected in the way he also plays around with his art. Playfulness is generally associated with youthfulness, and for him I think it comes naturally, I would hate to see him trying to look young in order to - in order to what? Seriously?
WeepingWall, I really dig your post! You're SO right and I am a little ashamed if I gave the impression that I want to change anything about LB's look. I know I said he could brush his hair down, but I'm really happy with his hair color (and honestly his hair style is REALLY growing on me; after seeing him 6 inches away from me, I can say to you all he is a VERY handsome man with practically perfect features STILL). I personally find it gorgeous. And you're right, he is SUCH youthful guy. When I saw FM in concert I couldn't believe how much like a little boy he was. You can have the most perfectly line-free face, and all the "enhancements" up the wazoo but nothing is going to enhance a dull, "old" character. LB is a dichotomy. On one hand, he's very serious, dedicated, organized, and intense. But on the other hand, he's like a little child who likes to bounce up and down and hear people scream his name, and act silly and crack jokes and laugh at himself.
I sort of love him. And I know some people like to say he looks like Garfunkel or Micheal Richards or but I'm going to say, for the record, that all those men WISH they had one iota of his brilliance and beauty. Sorry. I can't get over the Garfunkel thing. He is [i]so plain. And people are always bringing him up.
It's all good. ;) I mean no harm personally.

We only dissect every little aspect of him so often because we love him and want to discuss everything about him.
He is totally hot, sexy, gorgeous and utterly desirable just the way he is right now! I just want to :xoxo: him!!!!
Yeah, I don't really think anyone is being too harsh at all. And I have a feeling tongues are firmly planted in cheeks with much of it. When it comes to LB, everything is game for analysis.
Still though, I don't want my thoughts being interpreted as criticisms because, really, he IS 62. And not many 62 year-olds have their game together like this fellow.

Oh, it's not age discrimination. If he was 35 and had that hairline I'd still wish he didn't. Unleashed tour hairline was fine though.
The young men who shave their hair? Don't like that either. I don't like heads.

i loved SYW and UTS hair, but didn't like Unleashed or GOS tour hairline at all. his bald spot in the back just didn't sit well with me. glad he listened to me and is covering it now with lots of hair   - unfortunately his hairline developed different problems in the meantime...

i love your whole post - it is sad how our culture has become obsessed with looking youthful instead of just being youthful. i have tons of respect for lindsey for not having any work done, to his face or with his hair, but just aging gracefully - especially in LA culture where he lives and works, that seems to be pretty rare.
plus, let's face it, when you see him up close, he is still just gorgeous!!

This. All of this. LB may not have the same perfect hair he has graced us with for years, and he isn't a line-free boyish looking thing in his 20s/30s/shoot 40/50s but he looks HELL of a great for a guy of his age...I'd love to see people his age do what he does on stage every night. Shoot, people half his age.

As much as I like to joke about Lindsey looking
like Michael Richards (Cosmo Kramer), if
I dared to comment on a woman's weight on this
board how many of you would come after me?
Oh... I forgot weight is off limits, especially
on a woman.
I kind of doubt that Lindsey has the power to
withhold the hand of time and stop his male pattern
baldness.
Coincidently, he started losing his hair fairly late in
life. Don't suppose he had testosterone shots to
help...? And could that have lead to what seems
like a rapid loss of hair?
As long as he doesn't become Larry from The
Three Stooges, I'd say he's doing pretty good
for a 62 year old man.

I know there were many pictures of him (especially bowing) that saw that bald spot in the back, but I myself never noticed it. It wasn't a factor to me.
But I am the type of person that will only worry about how my own hair looks in the front. I don't do the double mirror thing where I see how the back looks. So, I guess Lindsey's back bald spot didn't register with me.
