Sweet Girl because its a cool live road song and I like the harmonies

Silver Springs because it is the crown jewel of The Dance. Simply amazing

Oh I know this one, I know this one!

It's definitely a tie between Silver Springs, Landslide and Rhiannon but I kept it at two votes and went with SS and Landslide.

Dudes, seriously? If SS doesn't win there's something wrong. It almost never fails to make me cry, it never fails to give me chills, it never fails to leave me holding my breath during the "WAS I JUST A FOOL!?" part and similar parts. It never fails to never fail. Stevie looks exhausted mentally after singing that on The Dance and all the eye contact there is with Lindsey. Just thinking about it... *Scurries off to Youtube*

Gold dust Woman and Silver Springs. They make the studio versions seem flat and lifeless. And SS at the Dance is IMHO, Nicks' Crowning Vocal, She's never bettered it:nod:

Sweet Girl because it's a new song, and Silver Springs, because it finally got it's place in the spotlight...but I really love both Gypsy and Gold Dust Woman, too. It's probably my favorite version of GDW, actually... (LOVE the whole 'something about gold dust...' part at the end.)

Gold Dust Woman and Silver Springs.

Silver Springs is simply epic on The Dance. My heart skips a beat when I hear it.

This is my all-time favorite version of "Gypsy"--and, at one point, the most played song on my iTunes.

And, of course, there is the epic "Silver Springs"--the performance of the song that turned the Mac into legends.

no seriously I hate the studio version.

Mick

I don't "hate" it, but I agree that the live versions, including The Dance, are all vastly superior.

I chose Sweet Girl, even though there was an urge to pick Silver Springs.

It's sub-par. It has no passion.

I don't want to vote for a favorite. I would just like to dump Sweet Girl.

Obviously Silver Springs was the highlight of the Stevie songs, so much emotion, energy.. def. better than the studio version, IMO. I also chose Gypsy because, to me, it's the only time the song was done justice live

I went for SS (no explanation needed, I think) and Landslide, mostly because it was the image of Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks you'd see (and hear) everywhere for about 2 years. Even my mother learned all the words (well, as best she ever can) and would sing along every time it was on the radio.

If not for that, I would've voted for GDW. I loved Gypsy too. Sweet Girl was EH. (Of all the new songs, it was the one I liked least, by far.)

Gold Dust Woman and Rhiannon.

GDW is the one song that Stevie always nails live, it's evolved over the years. And that wail on The Dance version is simply glorious.

And I happen to really adore the Rhiannon on The Dance, it's the last time she really did the song justice live.

I would have voted for Silver Springs, but, I heard the original version first, and that's the one I fell in love with; and the version that has yet to be topped/

Hi! well, I know Silver Springs is a "great old song" and the passion on stage is just amazing!
BUT, Gypsy is my favourite Stevie's song, so I choose it! A quiet version, beautiful, with the sound of Lindsey's guitar. The solo at the end is too short, but is just one of the few I could learn to play!! :p
Regards!

(What happened with Rhiannon?????)

My favourite username in the whole Ledge! For obvious reasons! :D

Um, I had no idea Rhiannon was the least loved stevie song from The Dance.. Geesh, one of my fav Stevie vocals and Christine's piano playing is so pretty.

I didn't pay attention and voted for only one Silver Springs. The other one I would have voted for is Gold Dust Women because they are AWESOME...
.
Gypsy and Rhiannon shine like they hadn't of haven't in the past, present, and probably the future.

Sweet Girl is just too sweet.

Overall, she was amazing that night. It proved to everybody that the Queen was back on her throne.

Favorite song - I chose SS and it probably would have won out even if the topic had been favorite performance. I could easily have chosen other songs though and loved the GDW and Landslide performances almost has much as SS.

"SS" and "GDW", of course.

I would still love for Stevie to record/release a studio version of "Sweet Girl".
