Hi All.I just got hit with a virus called Cloud Protection antivirus. IT's A FAKE. I used Malwarebytes free edition to wipe out the crap. The software should be installed on a flash drive .and make Malwarebytes to run off}{Portable mode}from the flash drive in the safe mode F8 on the windows computer. This crap will has popups galore saying the computer is infected also it will ask for you to get a full version..Also it will make the real antispyware not work in the main hard drive.

Yep, had the scareware virus, but it was fairy simple to eliminate. Most recently I was infected with a "rootkit" virus that redirected me to some useless link consolidator site every time I tried to use Google. Argh! Malwarebytes is great for most Trojans; however, it does not work at the rootkit level. For that I would highly recommend Combofix (freeware, yea!). Believe it or not, YouTube is a good source for obtaining step-by-step instructions on curing these annoying maladies.

BTW, I will personally string up anyone creating/transmitting these viruses on the web by the b@lls. I seriously want to inflict mortal injury upon these blights to society.

Yes .last week I was infected with the Rootkit virus.I did used ComboFix to clean it out.It worked great.ComboFix is very powerful.Be careful with it.I found it on google.I have to run ComboFix on my other computer. As I have the Google/Yahoo redirect crap going on with it.Also its very sloooow too.

Other antimalware software I use is SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition plus Emsisoft Anti-Malware free version.I run all 3 right after each other.

I agree these hackeers should get shot. They should just stay and hack normal software programs to make free instead of "F"ing peoples computers up with this fake antivirus sheet.
