Still not really sure why they made a video for this... I think it's one of the weakest songs on the album

Soooo in agreement with the previous 2 posters, FWIW is a sad case.

I couldn't disagree more. FWIW is up there with "Landslide" for me, but let us be real, Stevie is not going to have another hit single. Her CDs will sell fairly well but she's not going to have a hit, unless it is a total fluke - like one of her songs being prominently used in a movie or something. If Stevie were to have a hit, Moonlight and Ghosts Are Gone are a far cry from being a radio hits. SL and FWIW stood the best chance.

I love this song I want to say Stevie probably made video for all the songs on In Your Dreams and the video is awesome I think its just simple catchy song and down to earth song and the video fits the song I love it.

I find it hard to believe you think that For What Its Worth is a stronger radio (or single, or video) track than Moonlight or Ghosts Are Gone. :distress: ;)

It's one of the strongest yet still sweetest songs that Stevie has recorded in years

It would have to depend on what radio station you're talking about. Sure, the rock stations will go with GAG, but if you're a station that likes Faith Hill, I bet you'd choose FWIW.

yeah thats a good point... the song does feel like a country station song to me. But even then I don't think it's a strong track from the record. I guess what I mean is that it doesn't really speak to me like the other songs does. For me it's kind of a "skipper" ;)

I love "For What It's Worth" and for me it's really like "Landslide" for the 2010's. Definately it's one of the standout songs on "In Your Dreams" album. It's not perfect candidate for single release though, because it's too acoustic for contemporary audiences. Of course it's not important, because at this time Stevie is an album artist with little chance to score #1 hit single. I don't expect her to be #1 at all, I only expect her to record albums as great as her latest :)

I don't know, I just think FWIW is sorta forgettable. It doesn't really stick in your head because there is nothing to hang on to. No great chorus or melody.

I agree I think she should too is bring out Moonlight when the release of Breaking Down comes out and after it gets some notice or air time,Ghosts Are Gone should be the next release.
