They could have turned the volume up on the microphone a pinch, and maybe cranked the volume on his guitar down from eleven. His voice was pretty lost amongst his playing. But I enjoyed the music :)

I much prefer the way he plays it on the Live album though. It's a completely different arrangement which lends to the slower tempo. Plus it had a much better instrumental introduction. Also, I wrote out a tab for that version if anybody is interested.

THIS. I don't see what was wrong with the speed he was using until now. This speed is just too slow to not drag.

yeah i honestly think it was slower on the Unleashed tour... I'd have to check one of the youtube vids to be sure. He might have slowed his songs down for a reason... Big Love and Go Insane were also slowed down. (Aside from the Unleashed Go Insane)

I don't remember it being slower on Unleashed... but then again, I do tend to sing along (under my breath for the quiet parts) for the whole song, so maybe I just didn't realize it?

Agree totally. I loved the versions he did all the way through GOS; I used to have a 93 show (Washington DC, possibly) - I thought that speed was perfect!
