Evanescence's new self-titled album, "Evanescence" leaked on the 9th. Has anyone else on here listened to it? I downloaded it as soon as I found out, though I still plan to buy the standard and deluxe editions when it comes out on Oct. 11. I think it's a really good album, though maybe not as good as Fallen.

I'd also like to add that I think leaks are terrible as they hurt the sales of artists even more than they already are due to the declining economy and music industry.

I used to listen to Evanescence when I was a teenager. I kind of stopped paying attention after Anywhere But Home. They just don't appeal to me any longer, although My Immortal (Not the album version. The version with the guitar addition) will always hold a special place in my heart. I agree though the leaks and non profit downloads have a lot to answer for by way of the decline of music sales. But then again I think true fans tend to wait and enjoy the album in their hands. There's as much enjoyment in getting a hold of the sleeve/jewel case and perusing the album art and lyrics as there is listening to the music itself.

Yeah I prefer to have the physcial copy of the CD. Since physcial music is going by the wayside I think I'll cherish my collection in years to come. I don't connect with their music AS much as when I was a teenager either, but I love Amy Lee's voice, and it always draws me into their songs.
