I had wondered if she'd do a New Orleans gig on the tour (is she?) and if so she'd do it there for something special... It's kind of bad to have a song named after a place and not play it when you play there!

Since hearing it live at the Red Rocks concert & then the Sturgis windstorm performance, I've been obsessive about "Soldiers Angel"! I've practice the guitar tab parts and have the song down. I've always liked the song...but now I LOVE this song. Interestingly enough it was the song I played the least when IYD was released.

I find myself humming/singing "Moonlight" everyday STILL since I first heard it in May. It's becoming my new "Stand Back".

Side bar: Many of my Stevie favourites have a similar beat at some point in the song - if not for the entire song. I'd LOVE to hear a good dance mix incorporating the following:

Probably Moonlight right now, the lyrics "she's disconnected. She finds no comfort in her surroundings" really hit home with me when I was listening to the song while walking back from town. It really choked me up because it's exactly how i have been feeling the past few weeks especially leading up to going back to uni. Stevie is the soundtrack to my life, more so now than ever.
