Stevie's US tour ends Sept 4, then she's off until November when she heads to Australia.
What do you think she will be up to?
Lindsey's tour starts Sept 9, maybe she will do some dates with him?

Hopefully she'll be performing in Europe....which looks highly unlikely now. *SIGH*

In my dream, Stevie shows up to Lindsey's Chicago show. For the encore they play Frozen Love and Soldier's Angel. That would be awesome.

I guess at this point its silly to think she'll add a SoCal date in sept or oct right? Oh well, i'll always have the Wiltern.

Or maybe...Just maybe.....She's doing something normal? As in nothing to do with performing? She is a normal person with a normal life, and sometimes I think fans tend to forget that. Am I the only one who doesn't have trouble picturing her slobbing out on the sofa watching cartoons and eating Ice Cream like the rest of us plebs, lol? She's in her sixties. She needs more breaks than she did in her thirties.

Could be time for a little rest and prepping & cross-promoting her IYD cd and documentary film. Didn't someone recently post that it was to be finally finished for a Sept-ish release??

This was when she said, several times, that she'd be playing in Europe. It's now almost September. I don't know what would annoy me more, that she so blatantly lied yet again or that dates were suddenly announced next week with 4 weeks notice and I couldn't get the time off work and money for travel etc in such a short time. I know, I know... that makes me sound like I'm never happy and I should just be grateful that she playes here at al but surely this isn't the best situation for fans?
If she's resting then fair play to her - she's not been in the best of health and will have just finished quite a few US dates, but an announcement retracting previous statements would be nice. Of course she is entitled to down time and we can't expect her to be "on" whenever we demand it, but the expectation for October dates came from her - she needs to take it back.

Ask your friend if he/she needs someone to go with! :D
I assume this will be in LA? If so, maybe there will be somewhere small she could play in LA around that time??

You're not serious?? She plays solo in the US all the time! You guys have just had two tours - and they were both less than 2 years after the Mac Unleashed gigs!

In an ideal world, she'd squeeze in three West Coast dates (LA, SF and Seattle) and then spend October touring the UK after a few weeks off. In reality, I think she'll take most of September and October off, go to the UK in late October and then go straight to Australia from the UK.

Always one to complain you are. It was more important to you to attend your friends wedding rather than go see her when she was playing in your backyard. But noooo you just had to attend an event that isn't even gonna last a lifetime(so the statistics say).

This would be awesome. I hope dates are announced soon if it is late October though. There are no weddings (which I ended up not attending anyway because I was taken into hospital 2 days before) or anything else then so bring it ON! I need to give my work notice of time off though...bah!

aww :D i think i need to post on these forums more. I look all the time but rarely post. I love how all Stevie Nicks fans seem to be extremly loyal to her and seem pretty sweet to one another aswell. (: I haven't been a Stevie fan for as long as everyone on here but her music came into my life when I was going through a lot so i feel so much connection to her and her music. (: Hopefully one day I do get to see her live. If not on this tour then she said fleetwood mac will possibly tour next year again (i think) so im gonna keep everything crossed. :D x

Welcome to the Stevie Ledge. I have loved her music for so long and privately for decades thought I was the only obsessed closet Stevie fan. I bought her demos on eBay. I watched everything I could on YouTube. I attended every concert here in Phoenix and in the southwest since 1978. Then I stumbled on this site earlier last year and discovered I wasn't the only nutcase out there who loves Stevie! Welcome aboard!

Thankyou. (: I remember when i first discovered her and kept talking about her to my friends and they were like WHO? I think they all got bored of me talking about how much i loved her and singing various Stevie songs they had never heard. My parents are sick of me talking about her aswell and I dont think my neighbours like it when i sing Rhiannon to my dogs in the garden. My auntie is a fleetwood mac fan though so we made a deal to go and see them live on their next tour, I am so holding her to that :D The ledge seems like a wonderful place, i will deffinatly be posting more :D It''s great to finally have a place to talk about her all the time aha.

Yes! I am with you there. My Current cracked out crazy wet dream, Would be 4 stevie nicks to sing she calls you missing, Or I call you missing, Or call you missing depending on what demo list you look at haha. And duet with katy perry. It would go to number one. And then we would actually get a video that is done with a real budget:lol: :)

True, the UK & Ireland deserve it more.
What is it that American people always only speak of the UK (and Ireland) when it comes to touring abroad? There is a whole continent with lots of countries behind those two islands called 'Europe' (and UK and Ireland are part of it).
So, we in the rest of Europe deserve it as much as well :-)
But Stevie deserves her rest as well....

My Bella Donna..
I had kind of forgotten how good this song was..
was walking back from murphy s Irish pub - drinking Guinness,, watching the fighting Irish whoop up on the Spartans - back to walking back.. Across the duke Ellington bridge and listening to you may be the one. - along with 'for what it's worth and 'moonlight' which has become my iyd's trilogy.. Then as I walked.. Bella Donna started to play and I listened.. Yes, you can ride atop of my pony.. And it took me to then and now.. I love the in your dreams as I can't stop listening... "I used to love you.. So much..."
This post is relevant, not based on facts.. It's just a feeling..

It's quite sad though, as there are fans all over Europe, outside of the U.K. and Ireland.
She needs her rest though before she goes to Australia. Lest we forget she had pneumonia.
