The "Demos" (Part 1) Surviror Thread - Round Two

[ahafan02]

Here's what has lost so far:
Round One: Priest of Nothing
Round One: Dial The Number

Onto round two...vote for two more tracks to be kicked off...

Still honestly wondering what outtake we are assuming for most of these tracks.

Just the song in general, doesn't matter what version...there are too many versions of many of these demos to list them seperately.

I'd just pick the best version that exists [in your opinion], and base it off that. It doesn't make any sense to consider the other ones.

Ok. I guess I wish it were more scientific. You know, if we are finding the best song, it would be nice if we could all somehow be voting on...well....the same song. But it's not possible. I realize it's tricky with demos.

I agree.

I like all the choices that are left. This is sure to ruffle some feathers, but I voted to kick out "Chanel Chanel" and "Julia" - I know the latter in particular is a favorite of many, but it has never been more than a nice little demo for me.

Still hoping "The Dealer" wins from this group. For the record, I really like the lyrics to "Love and War" - the "be there when I'm not there" part is classic Stevie.
