Since 2 songs have already been dropped I think IYD's could fit in nicely after Edge of 17 as an encore and before Love is. Personally I could do without Landslide on a Stevie solo tour but I must say the crowd really enjoyed it in Atlanta.

She dropped it for such a very brief period recently and it was very refreshing but in general I think she'll allways keep it in. I'd rather she dropped Sorcerer. In Your Dreams has to go back in the set!

i agree with bringing back in your dreams but drop love is. she's playing all these new songs already & only the die hards know love is. i think sorcerer is more known than love is & it makes sense to play it cause it's a lady from the mountains song. i think she should close w/ landslide like she did a while ago.

Can't tell you how many times Landslide has brought me to tears, it's just been so overplayed the last few years. It needs a break so it can come back later. Remember when you heard it during The Dance for the first time in years?

We've seen the same concert for the past six years. I'm not sure I can keep convincing my friends to go every time she comes around anymore. That's the first thing I get asked, "is it the same old set list?"

Please bring In Your Dreams back to the set in Boston! How about surpirsing us with New Orleans????

I think that "In Your Dreams" would make a great opener.

Stevie has a habit of dropping my favorite songs from the set list, I wasn't very surprised after red rocks to see that it had been cut! Please Stevie, bring it back!!

That, too. The beginning could definitely be extended for dramatic effect.

I agree. Could be a great opener. I think she needs a peppy song after Edge for an encore. Maybe one of my old favs like Gold and Braid, Angel or just surprise me each show with something different as an encore. Im fine with Love Is as the closer.

I agree. In Your Dreams would be a great opening number...the whole "come in out of the darkness..." bit would be a nice change. And, guess what? The tour is in support of a little album she did called...wait for it! In Your DREAMS. How novel to actually sing the song that you named your album after?

Sheesh.

Whoever mentioned Landslide and the Dance...that's how I feel. I must have watched about 15 bootleg versions of Landslide on tape and probably have even more on audio. I LOVED it with a passion. Loved it during SYW. Since then, it's been getting more and more on my nerves with every passing year. It's not that it's not a great song. It is. I'm just tired of it. You can't miss something unless it actually goes away for a bit. Retire it for this tour (and the next, for that matter) and then bring it back.

I'm sorry she dropped it.
Has she ever dropped one song for another, but then returned to the first choice on the same tour?

That's a good point. And I think it would make a good opener just because it's energetic and a nice throw away song. The audience is so happy to see the performer for the first song, that it doesn't matter as much what they're actually singing. You're feeling the initial exuberance.

Overall, I think IYD is a fluff song though. It actually sounds like Christine could have written it -- and Christine's songs are great when there's an underlying hollowness or yearning. But when she is just doing upbeat, they aren't as resonant and that's what IYD reminds me of. Songs like that . . . I hear them one minute and have forgotten them the next. Airiest song on the album, I think

I guess we should be happy we got a few live versions of it. We never got any live versions of Wild Heart, Rock A Little, Street Angel, or Trouble in Shangri-la.

Honestly? Keep Landslide!
Don't get me wrong--I'm as worn out on Landslide as most of you, and my fantasy Stevie show would include the new album in its entirety. But as long as Stevie wants to continue playing large venues, she owes it to the audience to give them what they've paid good money for. 99% of the audience has spent that money with the expectation of hearing Landslide.
Personally, I'm just ecstatic that she's still singing 6 new songs, and that the audience is receiving them well. That's about as much as we can ask for, in my opinion.

I agree with these statements. In my experience the first song should always be a non hit because many people are still waiting in line to get a beer and some are still looking for a free place to park and others(like myself) are running to find their seats in the arena because I was running late trying to find a free place to park.LOL.

OK-if Landslide is the most "known" song to those who aren't rabid Stevie lovers (and among those who really, really, really want new stuff to be the complete focus of the concert)...throw out something else. OR stay five minutes longer and do it. And, really, the only reason I want this particular song in there is because it does have the "darkness/beautiful day" line (and the kick-ass music that follows) which redeems the fluffiness. And she did name the album after it (I'd just as soon hear something else from the album, myself, but--to me, this makes more sense).

IF you are doing some sort of growth/reinvention, you don't sacrifice the new for the old. If you feel a need to give fans what they want...like I said, stay five minutes more and give them what you feel you'd like them to hear. After the Unleashed tour, I'm pretty sure she will never please everyone. I was up at the stage, and this woman (whose boyfriend/husband/keeper bragged about how much he spent for broker front row tickets) kept yelling at Stevie "Leather and Lace! Leather and Lace! You better sing MFing Leather and Lace." She was very pissed-off (and, in ye Olde English...pissed) by the end of the show because Stevie didn't sing L&L at a FM concert.

But, whatever. I'll sing along to Landslide, I'm sure. Or, I'll mentally check out for 3 1/2 minutes;-)

Please bring it back, it's my fav song from this album! Plus it's the title track - I don't know much about the whole CD promoting thing, but it makes sense to me to keep the title track of the album in the set list to help with the promotion.

I like In Your Dreams too, but I'm actually glad she put Landslide back in the set. Even though it's not my favorite song or anything, it's the one song that everybody sings along with, and I just love the feeling of the entire venue singing along. Gives me goosebumps. As others have said, it would be great as the encore song.

I don't even like the song IYD but I'm still bummed she dropped it from the set. I'm also bummed she dropped 2 songs completely. Heck she should be singing no less than a 20 song set.

First and last songs of the night are important I think... Of all the concerts I've seen for people I was REALLY excited to see... I always remember what they opened the show with, their entry to the stage... the whole kick-off. Stand Back is a great opener too, but being it was a big hit, she could also put that song second to last, still play Love is last and open the show with IYD...

What you said :-). Landslide should remain in the set for the casual fans, but yes, drop Sorcerer and add back in IYD. Problem solved.

I love IYD..and i am sad she dropped it. But a Stevie Nicks concert without Landslide? C'mon now...it has got to be one of her most far reaching songs..and i will never, ever get tired of hearing it live :)

There's only--what--15 shows on this tour? Do "In Your Dreams" for all the reasons Regina suggested, do Landslide because it's become your most recognized sing a long, and do Leather & Lace, because there is nothing sacrosanct about Don Henley among most of your fans Stevie. ;)

It's a short tour. You can do it.

So hilarious. In fact, I'd think SDMHA would be more untouchable than L & L.

I remember it too, but for me it doesn't have to be really hot. Like, I don't think Monday Morning was really doing anything much, but positioned where it was, I didn't object to it either, because the excitement of those starting moments made the song secondary.

On the other hand, opening with The Chain for the Dance, following the DVD release . . . that was the most thrilling thing ever.

Someone posted the following in the comments section at: http://www.fleetwoodmacnews.com/2013/07/fleetwood-mac-brits-in-group-liked-to.html

Many fans were surprised that SN stopped performing the title song 'In Your Dreams' quite suddenly and permanently. Some hoped it would go to radio as a 'single' as it did get some light airplay, initially. Reason I was told last night: SN's management were served with legal documents that the music of the song was far too close to the music of a friend of hers- I don't hear it completely, but it was said that the melody and structure of the song in several parts were found to be *far* too close to the tune of 'You Wreck Me'.

So, the immediate decision was made to pull the song from the live shows and not pursue having the song sent as a promo to radio, in the interest of her friendship with that performer. This also quieted the displeasure of the legal team of the publishing company that represent the other performer, who knew nothing of the suit, initially. So, I guess there's still a friendship. But, maybe that's why the song disappeared, even after it had light airplay and had been played at a handful of shows.

I would have to scroll pages to find an 'IYD' topic here now, and nobody would see it, but maybe this answers some questions as to why the song was dropped, with no dissention as the intention. TP has before been a 'special inspiration' to SN and she had sung 'You Wreck Me' on solo tours, so maybe it inspired the song a tad. No crime. Nice songs, both of them. Yet, it is in the documentary. Yet, she also talks over the live performance. Loophole or camouflage of the similarities?

actually I've felt since day 1 the 2 songs were similar. In fact i think i said that in one of mt reviews back in april 2011 that IYD reminded me of You Wreck Me. Not a LOT but enough. I said much of the album felt like tom petty to me. FWIW gave me a Wildflowers vibe. the harmonies on Secret Love made me think of the chorus of In the Dark of the Sun off of Into the Great Wide Open.

Landslide most definitely could use a good, long rest, however, that would be the equivalent to Paul McCartney dropping Yesterday from his set list. It's just not going to happen.
