For these shows, when have people started rushing the stage for Edge? I know security varies by venue, but has there been a trend that people are starting to the front during Leather and Lace, or has it mostly started when the Edge into begins?

Thanks in advance...don't want to miss this!

At last nights show some people were going up during the drum/percussion solo, others went up as the guitar started. Security was unusually tight. I got up through center isle. I could barely reach her hand but she seemed to be looking at an old pin I was wearing and she reached a little further..basically it was like index finger to index finger. Anyways i'd recommend looking for any vacant seats close to stage and get ready early incase of any security issues. As someone mentioned earlier it was hot and very stinky by the stage but worth it to see Stevie that close. She looks great.

I'm in the dead center of the 4th row, which will make it challenging to get out quickly. I'm thinking that I'll start to make my way to the aisle around the end of L&L.

Talk to the people in your row on the side you plan on exiting through. Warn them in case they dont know. That way they'll either let you by easily or go up there with you. I did this from the 12th row in Vegas a couple years back and didn't have a problem.

Good luck!

I'm second row center-ish in Boston. As happy as I am to finally get the center section, I've always been on the sides/aisles before so it was easy to get up front as long as security was allowing it. My plan of action will be to hop over the seat in front of me to get to the stage! No idea how well that will work for me, but it's my only option I think.

I should have a couple of clances for the Edge walk.Out of 5 shows.Jones Beach and Boston.probably not because of crappy seats.A fat chance.I will try though.I have sneak down.I do remember at one show that I got down to the front from back of the section like row z with no problem with the security folks.the other 3 shows. yes.

At Dallas they let several people up at the start of the percussion. Those of us on the right got up after the walk started. Depended on which guard you had. This was sort of my experience on the 2009 tour as well, but that time the difference was a matter of seconds instead of minutes, and it was front-row center that almost got screwed (guards to the sides let people go to the stage in front of us while we were held back).

FYI, there really is not a lot of wiggle room between the front row and the stage at Jones Beach.

Yes I agree.I was lucky at the flood show to get up to the front.I had 4th row seats at sec C .a end seat. The security guy was nice and funny and let us up at the end for the Edge walk..

That's how it was at Universal Studios (Gibson). She did an Edge Walk, but it was only for the first row, because people couldn't come up, as there was just about a foot between the front row and the stage.

All the better for us in the front row! I am soooo looking forward to that show.

Re: PNC NJ...I had forgotten that last summer @ Santana, there was a metal barrier(for want of a better description) between the two center section front rows and the stage. I have no idea if those will be there on Sept 1, but it is something to consider for Edgewalkers.

If anyone from Stevie's camp really is perusing here, PLEASE get security straightened out before the shows so they UNDERSTAND what is happening for the edge walk. I don't want to go through what happened in A/C again where they were pushing and shoving us back. Thanks!! ;)

I'm going to Cincy tonight. I just hope for a chance to get up to the stage, considering I'm in 9th row, and I have Sara to watch out for too.. haha! She knows not to take her sweet time getting up there.
Pray for me, guys!

AMEN! I had second row and the person in the front row in front of me was not even allowed up at first. I never got to go up, this HUGE security guy prevented my side from going, but the girls in the front row I think eventually made it. AC security at Trump sucked!

At Turning Stone last August I made it to the stage and I wasn't even on the floor. I was in the lower section of the stadium like seats. I just pretended to go to the bathroom at the end of HSML turned right around made a right and was at the stage. Sometime the journey is half the fun!

AWESOME!! We'll have to make sure we meet! I have seats 15 and 16 - I'm assuming there's like 25 or so seats in the row, but I haven't been able to get a definitive answer anywhere. I had 2nd row but on the girls' side when she was at this venue a few years ago and it was the first time I got a handshake from her, so this venue is sentimental to me. :)

What about bringing flowers or a gift? Is it worth it?
