Why are Gold and Whenever I Call You Friend still here? She's not singing lead on either of them, nor are they credited to her. They shouldn't have been on Enchanted either.

I see your point but, honestly, I have always loved her vocals on Gold. The song is typically not my style but her backup has always made this song a favourite - even if it isn't technically a B-side.

Whenever I Call You Friend, on the other hand, needs to take its leave...and pronto.

Couldn't agree with you more, Mark. Stevie sounds great on both of them, yes, but she's neither the writer nor the lead vocalist on either of them.

Gold and Crystal, to go.

Stevie's vocal on Whenever I Call You Friend is possibly the single greatest bit of singing she has ever done. I wouldn't advocate it to win this match, but I'm in no hurry to see it go.

The intro of Whenever I Call You Friend always freaks me out. It sounds like a ghoulish church hymn.

I really can't stand the music for Touched by an Angel but understand it could have a deep meaning for a lot of people but sorry, I still voted for it.

Need I reiterate my distaste for Free Fallin? Makes me cringe.

Anyone who votes for Crystal needs a labadmy . Hee hee! The only way this could honestly be justified is if you just like other versions better but the song itself is sheer perfection both lyrically and musically. I especially like the PM version of the music extended at the end and her going "IIIII turned around and the water was closing around meeee aaah ahhhh".

Agreed, and good point. I guess Stevie thought she'd try out an infant's lullaby. I feel like I should be swatting at a mobile above my head when it starts.

"Crystal" & "Free Fallin'" got my votes. I admit that I almost voted for IYEDB - I greatly prefer the bounce of the demo & feel the Practical Magic versions of both Stevie songs drag.

I get what you're saying, but I think the raggedness of Stevie's mature voice produces a cool tension with the sweetness of the music. I like the melody. If anything is somewhat weak on the song, it's good portion of the lyrics. (I also cringe that non-fans instantly think of the sappy TV show when they see the title,in much the same way that friends often ask me if Stevie's "Beauty and the Beast" is a cover of the Angela Lansbury song.)

It really is the version, and not the song in general. I like it - even this version - but I don't LOVE it. Stevie vocal is uninspired and bland.

I personally love her cover of Free Fallin'.

I LOVE Crystal, as a song. But I'm not crazy about this version of it, sadly.

That said, Mirror Mirror and Gold got my votes.

Still can't believe my "Real Tears" went so soon... :(

Whenever I Call You Friend is a horrible, treacly song, but the sweet love's showing us a heavenly light part is infectuous.

Kenny Loggins is such a flake. Didn't he and his wife write a book about their nude wedding or something?

Absolutely agreed. Whenever I Call You Friend is pure bliss and Stevie's best vocal ever and she is indeed lead albeit on a duet. Gold on the other hand she is a back-up singer to

I love Whenever I Call You Friend

Stevie's vocal is superb and I think it's a great song.

Then again, I like a lot of Kenny Loggins..
