I'm sitting here listening to Italian Summer, wondering if I'm ever gonna get to see a music video to go along with it. :p
What's the word on the street?

it sounds like mid to late september...it will be interesting in what form it will be released...at this point I would imagine they are editing in The Wiltern Show but I have no idea the vehicle in which they will release it.....Maybe it will be sent out as a marketing tool for academy voters for a potential Grammey nod?? who knows...maybe if she releases another single like In Your Dreams, the doc will be released simulantiously and she will do the Today and Letterman and etc for a final push...

Maybe waiting for some footage from Red Rocks and other upcoming shows?

I asked Dave about the documentary last week or the week before and he said it was 80% done. I would imagine some clips from the Wiltern would be in there, but I don't see the whole show being released. She made several lyrical mistakes and only did each song once. And we all know how how much of a perfectionist she is. (Mind you this is solely me thinking out loud....perhaps she will surprise us.)

Hurry up already - this has dragged on for so long that people my lose interest if he doesn't get it out to capitalise on her recent press.

A major hottie started this thread. :woohoo:
Dave Stewart tweeted all over Twitter that this would see the light of day in June. Honestly, wtf is taking so freakin' long?

I dunno Dodfather.....I think they're deliberately pacing themselves in order to keep IYD bubbling. A lot of us wondered why there wasn't an immediate tour in May when the album came out. Well if there was, it'd be over and done by now. Instead, we have a fall tour to again kick up interest in the album. And we've seen sales improving and the album is back on the charts.
I'm assuming that the delay is partially for this reason and also partially to incorporate shots from Wiltern and possibly Red Rocks.
I'm hopeful that "For What It's Worth" may make the Billboard AC chart, and I would love it if we saw some additional singles, particularly "Moonlight", "Everybody Loves You" and "Italian Summer".
