I'm interested in hearing some new/old classics. Please make a list of some of your favorite oldies. I'm hoping to rediscover songs I've completely forgotten about.

I drag this out on only the grayest of gloomiest days, say a cold Ohio winter day, I will play this. It's just fitting for those times.

I've never heard Everytime I Look at You before. I played it on youtube and it was totally unfamiliar. I don't know Warm Ride either and could not locate it on youtube to verify. Other than the Stevie Wonder songs, none of these songs are a lost oldie to me.

I found one!!!
Rock Your Baby: George McRae
This isn't really a forgotten oldie but it's one of the great songs from the past I didn't have in my collection, and I thank you Dave for reminding me.

So far Dave's list is the closest to what I am looking for. To be more specific, I'm looking for songs that were singles, not obscure album tracks.

I love Everytime I Look at You! Good Hall & Oates song!
Warm Ride is on the Bee Gee's Greatest 2-disc set that came out in 2007. The song itself is a "previously unreleased" song.

So your looking for songs that you knew awhile back, but you just forgot about over the years?

More oldies played on my computer from ....July 13th - 16th

Fire - the Pointer Sisters
Show and Tell - Al Wilson
Old Time Rock and Roll - Bob Seger
That's the Way I Like It - KC & the Sunshine Band
Rock the Boat - Hues Corporation

Shaun Cassidy - That's Rock N Roll
Burton Cummings - Stand Tall

First of all Bee, I want to thank you for putting in a good effort to hook me up with past songs. There are several from the list that I know and many that I've never heard in my life.

The two songs above:
I can't stand Shaun Cassidy. I despised him when he was popular. Justin Bieber sort of looks like him.

Stand tall is def. a song that would be a forgotten oldie for me but unfortunately I don't love it enough to save it.

We Ain't Got Nothing Yet--the Blue Magoos

Of all the songs from your list THIS song would have been the great lost oldie but unfortunately for me, I already have it. Thanks for trying though. I'm still waiting for my date with James :):xoxo:

So your looking for songs that you knew awhile back, but you just forgot about over the years? YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

Show and Tell - Al Wilson
Long Train Runnin' - Doobie Brothers

I always thought this Doobie Brothers song was titled Without You. You taught me something!
Show and Tell was a great lost oldie that I remembered about a year ago.

I like the idea of any Ledgie pulling these tracks off your i pods and posting them for me. So far no one has presented me with a forgotton oldie that I love(d). So keep trying!

Love, Viv
