I know how to make a ringtone. Could someone direct me to a site where I can make my ringtone and send it to my cellphone for FREE. I'm interested in more than one site. Many thanks, Viv

If you look for a site named Zedge you can make rimgtones there to the limit if 29 seconds and either send them directly to your phone or download to your computer and add them to your phone manually. The former depends on whether your phone has Internet access.

I thank you for your response. However on this site I have to choose one of their ringtones. I want to use one of my own. Where can I go to do that for FREE?

You don't have to choose one of theirs. You can upload your own to the site and then download them. I do it all of the time.

This is the 2nd site I've tried that doesn't offer ringtones for Virgin Mobile telephones. Any other suggestions?

[COLOR="purple"]Do you know the type of file your phone accepts for sounds? I have a Virgin mobile and mine works perfectly fine with MP3. If you find out the file type you can easily run the tone you make on the site through an online conversion site. I recommend http://www.online-convert.com/result/37312427b49ca50f3882fbe9612907e7 or http://www.convertfiles.com/convert/audio/FLAC-to-MP3.html

Try http://www.mytinyphone.com/.
You have to make an account but then you can make ringtones from either your own MP3s or from Youtube videos. I used it when I had Virgin Mobile so it should work for you too.
