I love all of these songs, of course.
I went with Sweet Girl. It's the only song on the list that I personally cannot relate to. Stevie indulgence at it's best!

Paper Doll.
Silver Springs is, obviously, brilliant. And I have a very sweet spot for Fireflies. No Questions asked has a really great hook, and I've rediscovered my love for Not Make Believe recently; probably because of the recycled lyrics on Everybody Loves You.
Paper Doll and Sweet Girl are the two weakest songs here, I think, but, Sweet Girl isn't a bad song at all and I love Stevie's vocal on it.
Paper Doll is a song I very much fall in and out of love with. The lyrics are quite dark, and yet the music is all... happy and circusish. Total disconnect.

Such a shame I can't vote more than once!!!! I'd spend the next 3 days voting for "No Questions Asked" over and over (no pun intended!!!!) and over and over and over again!!!!
Of all of Stevie's FM songs, this is the one I just absolutely can't stand. I can't even listen to it. I don't even have it on my iPod. It is only 1 of 3 FM tracks (Derelict and Road Runner from Penguin being the other two) that I don't have on the iPod. Just can't take it.

For me it's between "Paper Doll" (so-so production, so-so vocal, catchy drums) and "Not Make Believe" (so-so production, weak lyrics, good vocal). I voted for "Paper Doll".

I know this is sacrilege, but I think Fireflies is musically boring & lyrically vapid. :sorry: I actually like all of these songs, but Fireflies is definitely my least fav and I find it to be vastly overrated.

I do love the tone of Stevie's vocal for this song. :) Stevie was at her vocal height during the Tusk era and she truly knew how to use her voice to it's fullest extent. I just find the song itself mundane lyrically & musically.

I love "Fireflies". Its got that groove like "Angel" and "Sisters of the Moon" have.
...but I also love "No Questions Asked" so there ya go Ledgies!
I went with 'Fireflies'; not a bad song, just my least favorite. Maybe if I heard a studio version I'd feel differently...
I can't believe so many people don't like 'Not Make Believe'!?!?

Interesting... I adore No Questions Asked, think Sisters is one of Stevie's best songs ever, but completely abhor Angel. I guess there's no logic when it comes to personal taste! :)

Me either, but I'm used to my opinions being divergent from mainstream Ledge. I think Not Make Believe is really a fantastic little song. I just love the lyrics... they are so good at capturing the complexities & ups and downs of relationships, and why we fight for them. I really like the production of the song too... very quirky, crisp, & simple. The production really puts the spotlight on Stevie's voice and her lyrics. I truly think this is one of the most effective tracks from Say You Will... it's a shame it didn't make the standard edition release. I feel it's one of the better Stevie and Lindsey collaborations to emerge from Say You Will.

Really?? This is a very unusual opinion - but all's subjective of course! I love both of those songs - although it took me a while to warm to No Questions Asked but when I did.. I loved it!

You can say that again. I love "Fireflies" and "Sisters of the Moon", I'm just okay with "No Questions Asked", and I find "Angel" highly overrated except live. It's the only Stevie song on Tusk where I'm not even impressed by the vocal (and the lyrics to the chorus make me cringe).

I agree with all of this, except for the bit about 'Angel'. In fact, I was outside my house yesterday and could only hear the (very looooong) playlist I was playing indoors very faintly, and something came on and made me go 'Oh, that's a great beat and bass, what's that??' 'Course it was 'Angel'. :]

Agreed 100%!!!
what is this an extra on???
The second disc of the Say You Will special edition. It could (should?) have easily replaced "Silver Girl"...

My biggest problem with Angel is it never really goes anywhere. You expect it to take off and it never does. It's musically boring to me. And I think the lyric matter is forced, contrived. It just doesn't seem like a natural effort to me like the rest of Stevie's absolutely stellar songs from Tusk.
Interestingly enough, I loved No Questions Asked from the first listen, though. I think it's another great little song in the same vein as Not Make Believe: just interesting commentary on the craziness of relationships.

Toss up between Fireflies and Not Make Believe. Fireflies is a song that was always just "there," but it's pretty boring and far from being anything special. The vocal is good, tho. I can't get past the "It hurts my self esteem...it hurts my everything...I am reeling...oh, it hurts my feelings" lyric on NMB long enough to take anything else about it seriously.

YES.
I'd been waffling between a few and wasn't sure I would vote, but you reminded me why I rarely listen to Not Make Believe. Hate it when one lyric ruins an otherwise perfectly nice song (see also: Ghosts, "She relies on her music like a husband.").
Surprised Paper Doll hasn't gotten more votes--I thought it was a lock for the win.
