I want to make a CD collection of all the unreleased songs available, thus far, that are of high quality, and were obviously fully produced -- serious contenders for intended release.
So far I have...
All The Beautiful Worlds
Dial The Number
If You Were My Love
Mirror Mirror (exluding the cassette b-side version)
mezzoforte

Just off the top of my head:
What Has Rock and Roll Ever Done for You?
She Still Loves Him
Love and War
Watch Devil
Belle Fleur
Night Gallery
Chanel Chanel
Have No Heart
Call on Me for Magic
The Tragedy of One's Own Soul
These sound finished, but the copies I have are not high quality:
Tied Up in Promises
Baby Doll
If you're including "Mirror Mirror", then I guess "God's Garden" and "Inspiration" are fair game.

All Over You
All The Beautiful Worlds
All The King's Horses
Are You Mine?
Baby Doll
Belle Fleure
Blue Water (the master demo sounds like it could have been a fully produced albeit acoustical track)
Call On Me For Magic
Cathouse Blues
Dial The Number
Don't Treat Me Like A Stranger
Farewell Failure (although live, it's fully arranged)
Flames of Frustration
Forest of The Black Roses (same as Blue Water to me)
Gold And Braid
Have No Heart
I Call You Missing
Impossible Task
Jimmy Come Back
Joan of Arc
Julia
Lily Girl
Mistress of My Fate (aka The Dealer)
Mix Down (aka Love And War)
One More Tomorrow
Prettiest Girl In The World (not sure how produced this is or if it's just a bad audio copy of it)
Priest of Nothing (not sure if this was intended to be more acoustical)
Sanctuary
She Loves Him Still (aka She Still Loves Him)
Something Exquisite
Space Needle
Starshine
Take Advantage of Me
Tied Up (In Promises)

Wow! I've only ever heard a ROUGH demo of this song. Anyone got the "produced" version to share? LOVE to hear it.

All of those songs were developed to a certain point. But this was my criteria:
1. High fidelity
2. Polished studio quality - not a work-in-progress demo, not an abandoned track, but one that was fully developed and ready for release.
Songs like "Jimmy Come Back", which we have in low-fi, was, I believe, was never seriously considered as a possible album track. It was essentially internal studio frivolity -- a joking plead to Jimmy Iovine.
Stevie worked on a lot of songs, with varied progress and results. Among these songs, some got to point where they were finished and mixed and slated for a particular project/album, yet they were pulled at the last moment. A good example of this is "My Heart" from Trouble in Shangrila. I know it's tough to discern which songs got that close...but no cigar!

I was thinking about this earlier, my version of All The Beautiful Worlds does not sound polished. So I am assuming I don't have the right version? Please share!
