Thank you for reminding me that this came out today. I completely forgot, and just ordered it on Amazon. Not THAT excited about it as I'm more of a Lindsey fan than a Stevie fan, but still interested to hear how her sound differs from previous albums. I'm just feeling guilty about the fact that I heard Soldier's Angel (The acclaimed one that everybody seems to love) and...erm....didn't actually like it

I don't either.  But the rest of the album is killer.

I don't mean to be rude, but why are you called "Silver Springs" if you're not really that much of a Stevie fan?

Lindsey is a silver spring, blue-green color flashing.

Was there a rule created somewhere a while back that stated a certain level of fandom was required to have a Stevie-esque name? Because if so, I totally missed it. And for the record: Stevie > Lindsey.

They made quite a good point and asked out of curiosity, not to offend hence having "don't mean to be rude" at the start.

I just wanted to point that out because I found your wit-less sarcasm unnecessary :wavey:

Maybe they meant they're a fan of Lindsey solo more than Stevie solo? And Silver Springs is a Fleetwood Mac song. ;)

Yes, inspite of my alleged wit-lessness (sic?), I am able to comprehend context clues, but thank you for further clearing it up for me!

what do the different pics in the UK booklet look like? anything very different or different cool outfits she's wearing?

p.s. soldier's angel is so very different from the rest of the cd. i personally don't like it within the whole cd. it throws off the whole mood of the entire rest ot if (for me anyways, i keep skipping over it). so i bet you'll enjoy the rest of the songs much more. i kind of wish she would have just released soldier's angel as a single like on itunes and lifetime or whatever. then another song could have been in its place on the cd. Orrrrrrrrrrrr.....i wish we could have heard her at the piano doing the song, just her singing and her playing piano, sort of "doing the best i can"-ish. i bet that would be cool! but even still, it just doesn't fit on the cd, to me. it's dark and somber, startling, even. those opening guitar cords - a shock to the mood you have been put in from songs like New Orleans and Annabel Lee. I definitely need to make some new mixed cd's. Songs like Everybody Loves You with songs like Bombay Sapphire and Love Changes- :)
