Ooh, this should be great. I just hope they don't do to Stevie what they did to Debbie Harry. Have her on for 5 minutes, and then rush her off... for a soap actor. I was so annoyed when they did that to Debbie.

hmm yes I agree... and just when she started to relax. Not nearly enough time. David Schwimmer is on too I think but they should just leave him in the little room and talk to Stevie the whole show!

I loathe it too, but might make an exception because the repellent Carol McGiffin is not scheduled to be on it the same day as Stevie. I literally cannot hold on to my stomach contents whenever I see that woman, and combined with nervous excitement as seeing Steves.... well, I could see it getting proper messy.

love it or loathe it the main thing is that she is on UK TV on a 'popular' 'award wining' show. Unprecedented.

I love Loose Women. My dog and I watch it every day with beans on toast (yep we both have it, not just me)
Stevie was gorgeous, gracious and an excellent interviewee. I can't believe I'm saying this  I was outside painting the fence for my mum today in a break from the usual routine and she came out saying "Yo, a very radiant looking Stevie Nicks is on TV, y'know. She's talking about your Christine"
That was when I RAN in. What she said about Chris was just wonderful, I'm glad she said it because now hopefully more people will believe it! I hope Chris was watching over beans on toast, too :p

I thought she was very sweet about Christine, I laughed like crazy when she couldn't even remember the name of her album, bless her. She looked so tiny, surrounded by the other women too. I thought she was very gracious and lovely in what she said about Beyoncé. My only quibble is that the interview could/should have been longer, but it was still nice.

Can someone put this on u tube for US fans we can't watch it on website........THANKS
When she left the show she waved at the many fans who were the other side of a steel fence, and got into a silver people carrier . Everyone assumed that that would be it, as she did not sign when she arrived ,but in fact much to everyones surprise , she sent a couple of assisants over to the fence and they collected any sleves from her current CD, and remarkably any vinyl albums from the 80's which were duly autoghraphed and returned to their delighted owners !The people with autograph books and photos were not so pleased , but nobody was expecting her to do anything at all !

This is fantastic to hear! And it sounds from Twitter like the HMV signing is pretty mobbed, too. I think it will be great if she feels like she's loved and remembered and wanted over here - which is completely true, by the way - because then we might get a couple of proper gigs.
Thanks for sharing this, THD!

A silver people carrier??
It's a van with windows in which celebs tend to travel nowadays ,in preference to limos as getting out is a lot easier (one type would be a Previa I think )USA Minivan ?

She's so cute. That cute little smile/shrug thing she did right after they played the Secret Love clip reminded me of Sunset Sessions in February. She was sitting right behind me as "Moonlight" was being played. I turned around and gave her a smile and little thumbs up and she responded with that same little smile/shrug.
...Sigh...
Thanks for setting it up on youtube.

I loved seeing Stevie in that clip. She looked great, and she was so poised, articulate and eloquent. The ladies on the show were clearly amused and very respectful of her.
"If you are gracious you have won the game." Sounds very similar to a line in Outside the Rain.

How well is her album/reputation fairing across the pond? Perhaps she'll have more success there than in the US -- sort of like the career of the American band The Scissor Sisters.

She's so warm toward other women and that really seems so rare. I love her description of her moment with Beyonce, both of them taking in that mutual admiration, respect, and grace. Graciousness is definitely a great character trait. I also love the hair! I don't mind the gloves on stage but found them distracting in the interview. Still, Stevie can wear gloves if she wants to, I don't mind. ;)
If I'd known about her signing and all I might have come to London for it. It's probably a good thing I did not know because I can't afford it! I'm so loving seeing her so happy. Yes!

I was only disappointed that Linda Bellingham (you have no idea who I'm talking about) only got to speak to her very briefly at the end, about her poetry. Bellingham is probably the only Loose Woman I have any time for, I'm afraid. But you're right, it was a warm kind of a vibe.

The link's already been posted, but I eventually got my version up and it has a cute little intro bit at the beginning, with Stevie giggling behind her hand like a coy school girl (they're talking about willies!), so it's worth watching just for that.

I dropped into my local HMV store this afternoon to see if they had the cd out (I'd already bought it myself at the Stevie signing yesterday), and there was an empty gap on the new releases stand that I'm assuming once held 'In Your Dreams' (as all the other new releases - Beyonce etc were still out. ) I then went to the Stevie Nicks section and the 'In Your Dreams' sign was there but they were all sold out! Am thinking all this promo may be paying off.

At the signing, they had to keep bringing out more boxes of it and filling the shelves as it was selling so quickly!

I know, when I bought my copy for the signing they were refilling the shelves and that was hours before she even arrived. I am so thrilled for Stevie!

I'd say she's having the biggest success since OSOTM there but the biggest snag has been Glastonbury--Beyonce's entire back catalogue is benefitting from her headline slot at the festival and so are many other albums from the acts there...may mean IYD won't have as high a position chart-wise than it would have had, even if her sales are solid

I laughed out loud when David said he brought at least one willie with him. And Stevie just sat there with a smile on her face. This was a great interview for her. I'm glad we got to see it.
