Here are the winners so far:

Bella Donna Survivor: How Still My Love
Wild Heart Survivor: Stand Back
Rock A Little Survivor: No Spoken Word

Now onto The Other Side of the Mirror...

PLEASE READ: There are 12 tracks on the CD and since we are only allowed up to ten choices in the polls feature I have left off "Rooms on Fire" and "Long Way To Go" as they are fan favorites and both will be added in round two.

Now pick two tracks to get voted off...

Easy-peasy. Cry Wolf and Two Kinds of Love.

"Alice" & "Two Kinds of Love" are my least favorites. "Alice" is probably my least favorite of Stevie's entire career (not counting demos).

Two Kinds of Love & Ghosts...TKOL is the only song on here I actively dislike.

Ugh... too many dire songs on this album...

I'm not gonna mention the title, because I don't want to jinx it, but within the past hour I've been COMPLETELY on a kick of one of these songs that I've always knocked and voted against, so we'll see how it does! :)

This version of Juliet sucks hard core but just because there are so many good demos I didn't vote if off the first round but I'd like to. I really like TKOL and CW so I won't be voting for those until I have to. I don't like Ghosts or Ooh My Love but the 2 biggest duds on the album are I Still Miss Someone and Fire Burning. Really can't stand either of those songs.

Love TKOL, and wish I had voted for Cry Wolf instead of what I voted for, because if I had, they'd be tied, making it possible for TKOL to last another round!!

I Love TKOL:xoxo:. this round I voted for "I Still Miss Someone" & "Cry Wolf", but I should've voted for "Fire Burning" on second thought. I listen to and enjoy CW much more. And another I cannot stand is WLT - it's one rambling repeating mess. It could've been much better if Stevie edited her lyrics and made them more cohesive and flow better. Luckily In Your Dreams doesn't have that problem - one of many reasons it's a great record.

Bite your tongue! "Ooh My Love" is in the top 5 of all the OSOTM songs (imho) It's a great little pop song with a catchy chorus. Should have been the 2nd or 3rd single.

My ranking of songs from OSOTM:
Tier 1 (Great to good)
Long Way To Go
Rooms On Fire
Doing The Best I Can
Alice
Ooh My Love
Two Kinds Of Love - this song could have really poignant, with much less indulgent lyrics. even still, some of the lyrics really shine. especially the chorus & the bridge

Tier 2 (Good to ok)
Ghosts
Juliet
Whole Lotta Trouble

(filler)
Cry Wolf
Fire Burning

(What was she thinking  - especially that arrangement)
I Still Miss Someone

Overall, a very flawed record:cool:. I'd rekon OSOTM veered towards becoming an album that only hardcore fans can enjoy out of all her solo records. It was a disappointment for me when it was released, but I loved parts of it. An album like "In Your Dreams" is exactly what Stevie needed at this juncture in her career. Instead we got wonky muzak with eccentric indulgent lyrics that only a die hard fan could appreciate.

I love I Still Miss Someone, to me it sounds like a reggae version of a country song, innovative and catchy, with classic Stevie vocals. Vote it off and drive a stake through my heart, go ahead.

What an innovative way to describe this song. I love this song too and in its heyday I sang it out loud to myself many a time.

"Two Kinds of Love" and "Ghosts" for me.

I've actually always liked "Cry Wolf"... :o

I Still Miss Someone? i guess i love it because my first BF was blue-eyed, and we broke up shortly after the album release. Still, it's not a bad song, esp. for a cover. The chorus is great, and it beats Alice!

I think the lyrics to Fire Burning are pretty horrid, so it had to go. I Still Miss Someone is even more horrid in an all around way. I'm just not a fan of Stevie doing country tinged covers of folks like Cash & Dylan. Oddly enough, I really do like her version of Cry Wolf, though.

I like "Cry Wolf" as well - it's strangely suited to her Klonopin-era voice in a good way. But I disagree with you on "Fire Burning" - I do like that one. :)
I'm surprised to see "Whole Lotta Trouble" doing so well. I don't hate it, but I thought a lot of people did.
