*** Moonlight (Montage) Video ***

[Travis]

Hi Ledgies,

First of all I have to give a big big thank you to ed7hanke for posting the live clip of Stevie singing “Moonlight” from her performance at the Wiltern Theatre from 5/26/11. As some of you know, I’m having a CD release party tonight for “In Your Dreams.” I was bummed that I only had the Secret Love video and the various performances to play as the new material, but now thanks to Ed, I have another video. My friend worked quickly last night and made a video using footage from the IYD documentary (Part 1) and this live performance. It will at least tide me over until the full video is released. I want to share and I hope you like it.

Nice job! I like it!

[StandbackStevie]

yes very nice job I love it.

Great job, Travis!

You don't have "Cheaper Than Free" for your party?

[Travis]

Thanks Guys!

Mike, I like Cheaper Than Free (oh I get what you mean now, yes I have it) but it's kind of a downer in a club setting so I probably won't be playing that, unless it's last call LOL. I need to try and keep the energy up. Moonlight at least has some "umph" behind it.

[mikebise]

Yeah, and I even figured out what you meant after I posted, remembering your earlier posts about the party at tha' Club!!!!

Have fun tonight!!!!!!!!!

Good job! I like the way the live vocal was matched up perfectly with the studio one.

a) your friend is 10^1000000000 x better editor than Dave Stewart, godhelpthechildren!!

b) my only very mild disappointment was that none of the soldiers angel canoodling was used as a visual representation of this song.

c) is your friend the hot guy who was with u at nots?

[Travis]

Viv - thank you

True Faith,

a) I let JNX know that you appreciate his work
b) I’m not sure what footage you mean. I actually have only watched the documentary once or twice so I may have missed it. This was just a last minute idea I had so it needed to be done fast for tonight. But I appreciate your suggestions … perhaps we will revisit this. There is always NOTS next year (if I’m lucky enough to play again)
c) which hot guy? LOL blonde hair? If so, no not him, JNX wasn’t there

Great job, Travis. It's really beautiful.
Good luck tonight and have a blast!

Love it! Your friend did an awesome job!

Okay, maybe it's because I'm still coming down emotionally from the thursday night birthday show, but that made me tear up.

Awesome job.

That was WAY cool. I think it's kinda funny that Stevie's 'lip singing' in this fan made video matches up better than in some of her professional videos!

Amazing Travis! I hope you all have a great time tonight at Omega, Washington DC-Stevie Nicks CD Release Party! http://omegadc.com/

Beautiful job... very, very nice!! Thanks for sharing here too!

I love how Stevie works the mic right after the second chorus' "they drop to the forest floor..." part (how she kinda pulls it back and down with her, with the intense glare)... I don't really remember the last time I saw her do that. Or if she has done it in recent years, it didn't have the impact on me that it did there... very cool!
