Am i the only ledgie who feels shes lacking a terrific promo schedule? I realize pneumonia and all......but 2 promo appearances for a new album? Is she waiting for the 2nd single? I am so confused and utterly in love with this album.....If she doesnt tour for it shes a fool!:(

I think she's had lots of good publicity for the new album. Lots of print articles, Oprah, Ellen, Dancing with the Stars....too back the Today Show had to be cancelled due to illness. If this album doesn't sell it won't be for a lack of her trying to get the word out. But face facts, it'll never sell as much as Bella Donna or The Wild Heart. That's mainly b/c record companies like to push younger, newer artists like Lady Gaga. Happens to every recording artist...think of all the other popular 1970s and 80s artists who are still really good but don't get the publicity they used to.

I agree ....the cd is great and I am seeing tidbits about Stevie everywhere...oprah, glee, ellen, magazines, internet, great reviews, entertainment tonight, access hollywood, tmz, and on and on...her cd is simply not going to sell like it did a decade ago. She's 63 yearsold!! Young people buy records! I have a hunch, that she will do one more push for press (maybe after the next single or documentary drops) and then that will be it...she will go on a small tour and then she will decide her next career move. In your dreams is a great album....I would love to see a grammy nod. That would be one more feather in her tophat!

Well, she's on the front page (or one of the front pages) of AOL this morning. That's some kind of promotion, isn't it?
