It is hard to put into words a good birthday message for someone who you've never met, yet who has had remarkable influence on your life. Stevie Nicks without a doubt is the single person who has had the biggest musical influence on my life- PERIOD! It is because of her music I began to understand song structure at age 12, and began writing songs by 13. It is because of her that I was motivated enough to get my musicianship to the next level. She has helped me through sickness (major back surgery in 2007), and helped me through a continuing nasty parental divorce. I owe her so much, really I do, that it just seems a shame that I've never been able to thank her in person.

Pretty much everyone I know knows how much I love Stevie, and it's funny, because soooo many of them tell us that we should get married- which is creepy as hell, but funny none the less. She is like..... an aunt figure or something that helps guide me in a lot of my darkest times.

So, another year has passed, and it's time to celebrate Stevie's birthday. I'm planing on listening to Stevie CONTINUALLY all day- currently OSOTM is in.
