Hey all!

First of all, I want to thank all who have participated. Turnout has been great, and it's nice to see some spirited debate with this classic new album. It's been interesting also, seeing some voting strategy because of the whole concept. Just a reminder, after episode 8, we will be merging into one tribe, so keep that into consideration.

I also just wanted to mention this, to make sure I don't forget: once the tribes merge into one, voting will again have two components. You'll select a song from the poll that you want to give immunity to (presumably a favorite), and you would then post which song you're voting off. BUT, don't worry about this until the merge- I'll let you know.

So, as we can see, Tribe 2 was sent to "tribal council" for the second episode in a row, so only votes for songs in that tribe are counted. Here are the results.

So, that means Ghost Are Gone with regards to this game is a ghost, who is now gone. ;)

Episode 4 brings about a lot of excitement. Will Tribe 2 be headed to tribal council for a third straight episode??? We'll find out!

I've switched my tune, and am voting My Heart off. I ADORE the TISL outtake, or whatever the technical term is, but to me the vocal sounds almost the same, and is the weakest of the album. I do love the song- as I do the entire album, but with what's left, this isn't stacking up for me as much.

Just a note to all, make sure you poll vote for the tribe you want to see send a song home as well as typing in your choice, otherwise it's like your vote didn't count. :)

It's because people love the song....just not this version, but their sentimentality for the TISL version is carrying over to this game. That's why I didn't vote for it.

Is it right? No. But it's true. :p

In principle, it should not have been included since it is not on the regular CD release.

I get the My Heart hate, and I prefer the TISL version, but at least there is something I like about My Heart. I do not, however, have any fond memories of a great version of New Orleans. Therefore, goodbye, please.

I just want to say that I am beyond shocked that BOTH Secret Love and Everybody Loves you are still around, and apparently won't be getting voted off this round either. There are too many better songs than these (only reason I haven't voted for ELY is because I love the guitar solo), but seriously, should these songs get voted off later than say, the brilliant New Orleans??? :)

I'd rank Everybody Loves You as one of the best tracks on the album. :nod:

Agreed. I'm surprised as well. I think ELY & New Orleans stand alongside the stronger tracks on In Your Dreams. Not getting all the New Orleans aversion at all. :shrug: My Heart is the weakest link in an otherwise near perfect album.

For me, New Orleans is just a throwaway song. I skip it almost every time I play the album unless I get distracted. I think it's great that some fans love it - and I would not remove it from the album - I just don't appreciate it yet. Maybe I will, someday, but it does nothing for me. It tells no real tangible story. I've been to New Orleans - so it's not that I can't relate to it. I just don't....care? :shrug:

But - and I stress - I'm glad others have love for it. It's just not my thing.
