Stevie was deliberately away from him on the stage. For that entire tour, she, John and Christine were all in the same section for this moment. He would hug or pull on John and he'd do something to Christine (sometimes he would touch her head with his head) and then he would kiss Stevie. He kissed her every night (that I saw anyway) and she was in that little triangle between John and Christine every night.

But this particular night she moved away from him, way onto the other side of the stage when she knew it was time for him to kiss her. I don't know if she thought Lindsey wouldn't follow her or not -- but she should know enough to know he would.

Well, here it comes, the surprise...Stevie was really into "Silver Springs". She sang some of the lines a bit differently by drawing them out as she sang. The change sounded great and she was still in line with the tempo. Well, at the end when Lindsey joins Stevie to sing "you'll never get a way from the sound of the woman who loves you" and Stevie begins to rant "never get a way, never get a way" I could tell she was getting very emotional to a point where she didn't know how to continue her ranting. As the music turned softer at the end where she sings the last verse she had moved to over to Christine's stage mic grab it and turn her back slightly to the audience, she had the mic titled to her level. Lindsey sensing something was up walked over to her (he was facing the audience) and even from where we sat you saw her tell Lindsey at least three times that "I can't do it, I can't, no". So, Lindsey finished the song looking her dead in the eye, "you could be my silver springs, my blue/green colors flashing"! Absolutely fantastic! He sang it in a tiny voice almost matching the way Stevie sings it. At the end Stevie put her arm and hand out to him and he took hand and touched in face with it then kissed it. Very emotionally. I believe Stevie had some tears and when Lindsey came back over to his mic he place both hands over his face, then shook off the moment. I had chills! What a thrill!

I know the SS from The Dance DVD is famous, but I always liked the way they did it towards the end of the tour more, where Lindsey would sort of "chase" Stevie and she would back away from him, dragging her mic (on stand) and sing in a frenzy, while his eyes bore into her.

Sometimes, as she moved, not looking behind her, I thought she might actually bump into John. John must've been thinking" "Get a room."

I think it was the SYW tour. I can't remember now where I read it but it was just the other day, someone's review of one of the shows that said they kissed pretty intimately, twice on the lips. Not just a peck. Seems like I recall that, too, and if I remember right, I think it was one of the earlier shows.

YES and I was there it was AWESOME. Stevie was sooooooooo pissed. WE were all staying at the Four Seasons and hanging out in the lobby when she came back from the show, she walked into the lobby and stopped. There were about 20 of us standing around and she was standing there with her body guard, Sheryl Louis, and one of the dogs. Some of us remember it better than others, all I remember is sitting in a chair and asking someone next to me, who's the blonde with the braid, holding the dog?:lol:

I'm interested. I admit I was lurking in this thread because the title was too provocative not to. What's the deal with Kristen that makes her so psychotic and "batsh*t crazy?" I assure you I am not one of those LB fans who is all "OMG, Kristen is the best thing ever . How dare you!" I'm relatively neutral about her, though I won't lie I was NOT happy to read some not-so-great experiences fans had at her hands. Ever since then, my neutrality has been looming towards the DGAF zone, but I want to respect what she provides LB and the kids are gorgeous...still though. I want to hear more.

I wonder if she's insecure with Lindsey being alone with Stevie in Stevie's house because that was the one thing that bothered me when Stevie and Lindsey did the Unleashed tour interviews in Stevie's house and how Kristen was lingering in the background all up in Stevie's house like it was any of her business to be there in the first place. I don't know she was supposedly taking some stupid BS pictures anyways Stevie said kind of bitterly in that Don't Stop documentary that she had never been to Lindsey's house so I wonder how come Kristen has never invited her? Listen this is just my opinion but one of the reasons sh*t storms get started on the fan boards,when everyone starts talking about SnL, and the shippers verses non shippers go at it, is when the family's get pulled into it. Stevie and Lindsey lay it all out there in there songs and in the press. Kristen, and Lynn and Julie and the kids...don't. They don't get a voice so let's leave them out of it. Everyone knows the majority of the shippers don't like Kristen, or else you wouldn't be a very good shipper....duh! BUT, none of us know what it was like in the early days, being in her shoes. How the woman is still around baffles me. This most recent album of Lindsey's and Stevie's newfound love for him would send me running for the hills. But that is their deal, not ours. Yes I was at the show in Atlanta and yes she shouldn't have had Stella on the stage. Ok we know, not a good idea. But people in desperate situations do desperate things. I have four kids, once when I was going somewhere , I got to the end of the street and realized I left my two month old on the living room floor, alone. I loaded the car with everything BUT the baby.

My point. Some of us want to talk about this stuff and have fun speculating on the new lyrics and so on. Have at it. But let's not resort to Kristen bashing. There is no need for it. Again as always, just my 2 cents.

NOW....having said all that...someone tell me about Gary supposedly hitting Lindsey back stage in WPB. Because I saw the whole thing go down on stage and he wasn't gone for more than a minute or two, so it's weird to me that he would have left, if memory serves me correctly, in the middle of a song, it was like during one of the long musical interludes, and he went backstage and came back out, I remember Stevie was at her mic stand and Lindsey kept looking over to his left and he was supposed to start singing, and Mick yelled at him, and got no response, he yelled at him again, nothing and then Mick stood halfway up and yelled..BUCK!!! And Lindsey turned and started singing. It was the weirdest thing. I also remember during the bow that night Lindsey did like a fist pump, slash, flip off motion with his arm and left the stage Mick took Stevies hand and walked her across waving to the crowd. It was weird, but I never heard what happened, so do tell!

I also want everyone here to know I'm not judging any of you and the shipper threads are absolutely delightful. But I think the interrelation between Lindsey and Stevie says enough and I'd probably prefer, myself, to stay out of the Kristen area. :)

I've been thinking about it the last couple of days and I do remember posts on other websites talking about how Kristen was just an actress and those weren't Lindsey's children or Stevie was actually the mother of the children and a lot of other stuff.

These stories about what people were told when they talked to a crew member or someone "in the know" on the road sometimes seem about as credible as fan fiction.

I don't want that, because it's really endless. It doesn't stop and it spreads all over the threads.

I love speculation about song lyrics or video moments or interview comments, but I think that's more than enough for us to talk about.

I am curious myself. I know when Luke was talking about Kristen's first husband I looked up the divorce filing in the public index. So, I agree with you that these conversations have their lure, but I don't want to go down a rabbit's hole any more than we have here.

I think the earlier posts identify the people who have stories to tell. Just PM those people for more information. Also, Creeping Death offered her bulletin board on Yuku. So that could be a good place to talk about these things.
