Secret Love has already been released so did not include. Please pick the song that radio would play, which might NOT be your favorite. Her best chance at a hit.

radio is dead, won't matter if they play her, format is no bid deal anymore.

While this album is amazing, it is not a radio-friendly singles album... Unless Warners marketed it in the country market...

If so:
In Your Dreams
For What Its Worth

I think anything else would have to be cut down drastically, which would suck... There just isn't much of a market for rock right now on the radio (since they pretty much only cater to oldies hits or the tween market). Most of new music listening happens online anymore.

I love Annabel Lee but to be objective had to go with In Your Dreams.

In Your Dreams really seems to be the most radio friendly one. I'd love to hear my other favorites get some airplay but IYD sounds more like what a radio station would play.

I think there are singles on this album. I just think no one knows what they will play. In Your Dreams is Tom Petty and probably 20 years ago would of been a no brainer hit. But she is going to have to find someway to get it on country radio and rock stations. That's no easy task. Stevie seems very unap0logetic that they made an album that is old-school. Good for her but trying to get it on the radio is another matter.

I said moonlight, because of the twilght buzz, etc. Its also the most popular download on iTunes. I dont think it is the best for radio, but I think it may have the most chance of getting played if released.

I could care less if any of them make it to radio. That's what makes this CD special, it doesn't cater to be loaded with generic hits. Why should we even care if others like it or not. If the music moves you as an individual, it''s a hit!

I don't see any of these songs being played on the radio, but I don't listen to the radio, so I have no say or vote on this matter.

i hope they use "moonlight" in the next twilight movie and "new orleans" in trueblood.

Maybe Glee will do one of the songs and get them out there. Maybe a movie will pick one up for its soundtrack. As far as radio play I can also see IYD as a possibility. We still have some viable radio stations here in Boston but I am not sure this would fit. Our classic rock station plays new cuts back to back with classics sometimes. I can see it being played on that station.

If this was 1985 (or even 1989), I'd say AL or IYD, those 2 songs would have been huge hit singles back in the day.

You're right--most people are playing their iPods and some few are playing cds. Classic rock stations, the ones that usually play Fleetwood Mac and Stevie songs aren't going for anything new. There isn't money for payola.

The best PR I heard for Stevie came today at my local Barnes and Noble. As I entered the store I heard "Secret Love" playing over the loudspeaker. It made me smile. As I approached the music section where they have a large cd/dvd section the album continued to play--they played the whole thing! As I went to the cashier to pay for the "Barnes and Noble" issue of "In Your Dreams" the lady mentioned I made a good choice and went on to tell me she owned a "vinyl" copy of Rumours and Bella Donna. That information just made me grin more. I resisted telling her about my vast collection of FM related stuff--didn't want to scare her. Besides, I enjoyed just hearing what SHE had to say about Stevie. She really admired Stevie & her music. I did tell her I had heard Stevie was sick, and would be missing her show tonight, (along with hundreds of other devotees). I told her it wasn't looking good for the Borgata show either. But I left her with some hope: at least we have a bit more time to learn all the lyrics. It's a cold, raw, rainy day here in parts of the northeast. It's probably best that Stevie stay where it's warm. I've got my B&N cd to keep me happy tonight.

(and I really blame Rod Stewart and his germs)

If I am representative of the general public, I have to say that For What It's Worth and Annabel Lee are the songs that run through my head almost constantly since hearing the album over the past few days. So my subconscious seems to like them the best! There are parts of the other songs that are certainly "radio worthy" but I don't know what public they will be aiming them at. I'm a fan for over 30 years so I will listen anyway.....

I would think New Orleans and In Your Dreams would be great radio hits on pop/rock soft rock stations,

Classic Rock Stations hands done Ghosts Are Gone and Wide Sargasso Sea, Definetly would love to hear these two songs on album oriented rock stations or classic rock stations I call them.:]
