Does anyone on here use Ventrillo?

I'm a gamer and we use Ventrillo to talk to each other. It's a free download, but someone has to host it and that's me. We use it for guild runs and just to talk to people across the coutnry. I was thinking that this would be awesome to use to talk to each other. I can have 25 on vent at once. Right now, the server is down, but if anyone is interested in getting together let me know. This is an EVENT album and I'm sure a lot of people want to talk about it with other Stevie fans. Some of us cannot travel.

It's how people talk to each over the web. We can hear each others voices. Gamers use it to raid and to just talk to each across the country. You downloaded it for free, but it has to be hosted by someone. I pay like 11.95 for a month to host. Right now though, the site is undergoing some maintenance but should be up soon.

I use skype, but have heard that Vent is better. I should look into loading it. It's free right? Or about as pricey as subscribing to Skype (which is'nt bad at all).

yes, I'm a wowhead, my main toon is an affliction warlock, but I also play a priest, dead knight and a rogue for good measure :)

Vent is free download. It only costs the person who hosts it. It costs me 11.95 a month to host.

true. I definitly don't play as much as I used to, because I used to do very intense raiding. I only really play a resto shaman at the moment.

anyway, vent is free, but it's also a lot more complicated than setting up a skype chat. Assuming you can have a whole group in skype, right?:shrug:

not that off the topic, we were talking about vent, and that's is how most people know about vent and I think if people on this board knew about Vent, they would be on it everynight discussing this stuff because it's soo easy
