What song is in your head most today?

[blinker12]

A day after hearing the album for the first (second, third...) time, what song is stuck in your head?

For me, it's "New Orleans." The chorus is on constant replay in my brain.

[Jondalar]

Soldier's Angel, Moonlight, You May Be the One today....

Yesterday, I overdosed on Everybody Loves You and For What's Worth and Wide Sargasso Sea

[Amlyn]

Italian Summer. I keep hearing the build up at the end over and over again in my head.

In fact, going to listen to it again!

[GoldDustBoy]

I must have heard Wide Sargasso Sea over 30 times since yesterday. lol It was an instant favorite.

[nightbird28]

MOONLIGHT, I must haveplayed this song 20 times already and it's perfect.

[DarkUponLight]

New Orleans. Woke up singing about feathers & lace. Lol

[Artemis]

Ghosts Are Gone, mainly for that fantastic guitar.

[Spoinny]

Moonlight by far, I LOVE that song. I think it's the best on the CD (my opinion at the moment :)

[HejiraNYC]

I wanna dress up, I wanna wear beads, I wanna wear feathers and lace... and brush by Anne Rice

[CADreaming]

For what it's worth. The chorus is so catchy. Plus, it has such a sweet melancholy to it. I like that.

[belladonnadream]

MOONLIGHT, I must haveplayed this song 20 times already and it's perfect.

Me too~ Moonlight!!!!!!!!!
Strange she runs from what she can't keep up with~
Oooh its strange.....
They drop to the forrest floor frozen~
"If he leaves her... he'll be losing the chance... to stay alive"~

[belladonnadream]

I wanna dress up, I wanna wear beads, I wanna wear feathers and lace... and brush by Anne Rice

New Orleans is lyrically PURE Stevie~

[belladonnadream]

Moonlight by far, I LOVE that song. I think it's the best on the CD (my opinion at the moment :)

I completely agree~

[mezzoforte]

I've had Moonlight on pretty much a constant loop in my head, periodically interrupted by bits of FWIW and WSS.

[KarmaContestant]

I've had Cheaper Than Free stuck in my head for days. Other than that it's just been a medley of Stevie lyrics strung together, playing on some sort of odd shuffle/repeat cycle:

Warmer than a sun drenched land
The planets of the Universe go their way
And even though they were so in love
Love is like a river
Strange....
My secret love secretly died
Hey, It's so soulful!!

Yeah, it's been kind of like that.

[njova]

Italian Summer! It makes me want to go have a great romance in Italy.

[RickRobert]

ITALIAN SUMMER can't stop listening asdjfkdsf

[Bryan]

Yep,me too.Heard it one time and it's the one that's spinning over & over in my head, very catchy!
Moonlight is the other one that's stuck and refuses to stop replaying:D

Yeah, it's been kind of like that.

 There is just something about that "Hey" line that I absolutely adore. The song is so gorgeously grand and expansive...and then you get this funny, surprising "Hey! It's soulful too. " It makes me shake my head and smile.
But yeah, in my head it's Italian Summer and Everybody Loves You fighting it out.

[louielouie2000]

Interestingly enough, Soldier's Angel and Everybody Loves You... two songs I thought I'd HATE!

[markolas]

Annabel Lee and For What it's Worth.

[CreepingDeath]

Moonlight
Ghosts Are Gone - Especially the riff.

[Annabell Lee]

Italian Summer. I keep hearing the build up at the end over and over again in my head.

In fact, going to listen to it again!

[Bandon]

In Your Dreams

[CelticGypsy]

Moonlight, Wide Sargasso Sea, Annabel Lee and I am loving Ghosts are Gone.

[hightower_1001]

For What Its Worth- instantly became my fave and will probably stay that way.
And the ending to Ghosts are Gone.

[Musicman408]

Moonlight and Everybody Loves You

[jrpjr]

Moooooooooooooonlight!!! Love This Song!!

[DallasDude]

In Your Dreams and For What It's Worth. Italian Summer, not so much (it edges way too close to Celine Dion for me.)

[jcfree]

Italian Summer and Moonlight and Everybody Loves You. I am in Stevie heaven! I soooooo love this album, have been listening over and over from RS site, can't wait for my CD from Amazon, and also I am buying a couple more at Wal-Mart, hope they will have them on the 3rd!

[Thrown_Down]

Moonlight, Italian Summer, Sargasso Sea, In Your Dreams and Everybody Loves You.

[WildHearted]

For What It's Worth and In Your Dreams.

[BombaySapphire3]

Italian Summer, not so much (it edges way too close to Celine Dion for me.) I listened to Italian Summer and the Roxy Music classic "A Song for Europe" back to back..It has way more in common with that song than anything I've heard of Celine's.It's much more atmospheric and lyrically rich imagery than I expected from the snippet

[daniellaaarisen]

DEFINITELY "Moonlight," but it's been stuck in my head since we saw the trailer.

[SapphireSister]

WSS as it will soon come to be known...partly because I keep playing it over and over.

[-Lillith-]

DEFINITELY "Moonlight," but it's been stuck in my head since we saw the trailer.

Yes same here ! I even dreamed the chorus after the snippet.

And Wss and italian summer are most stuck in my head . But i just listened 3 times. :)

[mikephxaz]

For What It's Worth is stuck in my head since my very first listen...I smile everytime I hear it!!...Thank you Dave & Stevie for keeping it SIMPLE

[StreetAngel86]

what's warmer than a sundrenched land

ive had IYD playing for the past 15 mins over and over atm eeeeeeeeeh cannot stop listening

[LikeAWillow]

For What It's Worth and In Your Dreams.

THIS. And New Orleans. So addicted.

[cristochango]

Italian Summer. It makes me think of this girl that I'm really into right now. And pretty much sums up how our summer is gonna be before I go to college in the fall :/
But it's great :D

[WildHearted]

THIS. And New Orleans. So addicted.

YES! I love that one too.

[Somajoseph]

Moonlight, Wide Sargasso Sea & For What it's Worth. Been played dozens of times so far.

[carrie721]

THIS. And New Orleans. So addicted.

i was so ready to hate new orleans. but i don't.

[gypsy4life]

Wide Sargasso Sea, and Moonlight have haunted me all day. However, I love them all!

[Jondalar]

Wide Sargasso Sea, and Moonlight have haunted me all day. However, I love them all!

I think if she had a different title for Moonlight, it would of been the title track. That's her baby.

[tabruns]

"Wide Sargasso Sea" is really starting to haunt me. I didn't think I would like it that much from the sizzle reel, but its truly an incredible song.

[Musicman408]

I woke up, and "In Your Dreams", particularly the adorable chorus is STILL playing in my head.... after 36 hours!!!

[Artemis]

Today, I can't stop listening to For What It's Worth. As much as I like In Your Dreams, I really wish that had been the title track.

[darklinensuit]

"You may be the One" is really growing on me. I think it could be great in concert.

- Jake

[Richard B]

For What it's Worth is killing me. What a great song with a brilliant chorus hook.
